Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Chapter 171: Chapter 116: Three Days Without Discipline, and They’ll Tear the Roof Off

”We can’t do it, but there’s someone who can.”

Li Jinshu said, ”Susu, have you forgotten about Chen Xin? She’s connected to Auntie, and Xu Yun seems to have a bit of a soft spot for her.”

”...” Su Mu.

Yu Xuan nodded. ”The boss does seem to treat Miss Chen Xin very well.”

”I’ll call her.”

Li Jinshu was a woman of action. She immediately called Chen Xin and put the phone on speaker.

”Hello, Sister Jinshu.”

Chen Xin, who was halfway through her writing, was interrupted. She answered, ”It’s so late. Is there something you need?”

”I want you to help Xu Yun.”

”Help Xu Yun?” Chen Xin asked, confused. ”What’s wrong with him?”

”Recently, he’s been working out at a fitness center, but he’s been seduced by a female trainer there. Now he’s staying out all night every night, and we’re worried he’s being tricked.”

Li Jinshu said, ”How about you try to talk some sense into him indirectly?”

”I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

Chen Xin replied, ”I’m not his girlfriend. It’s not my place to get involved in this kind of thing.”

”Just as a friend. We’re all just worried about him.”

”Alright then, I’ll try.”

Chen Xin hung up. After hesitating for a moment, she called Xu Yun directly.

But it was a while before he called back.

”I was just in the shower. What’s up?”

Chen Xin asked, ”Are you busy right now?”

Xu Yun glanced at Ning Qian on the bed, who was biting her lip. He decided to be mischievous. While continuing his ’exercise,’ he replied, ”Right now? A little busy.”

”Then I’ll call you back later.”

”It’s fine, you’re not interrupting. Go ahead.”

”Actually, it’s nothing important... I just wanted to tell you...”

Chen Xin said hesitantly, ”They say lust is a blade hanging over your head. You’re handsome and rich, so a lot of women are surely after you. You should be careful sometimes. Don’t let yourself get fooled. Be smart.”

”...” Ning Qian.

’Why does it feel like she’s talking about me?’

Xu Yun glanced at Ning Qian and couldn’t help but laugh. ”Seriously? You called me in the middle of the night just to tell me this?”

”Uh.”

”However dumb I might be, I’m not as dumb as you.”

Xu Yun retorted, ”Aren’t you supposed to be writing in the middle of the night? No updates today? You must have a lot of free time.”

”...” Chen Xin.

”Alright, if there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”

Xu Yun said, ”Stop worrying about my business. I know exactly what I’m doing.”

”Oh.”

After hanging up, Chen Xin immediately called Li Jinshu and the others.

Li Jinshu answered at once. ”Hello, Chen Xin, how did it go?”

”I asked him. And he called me dumb.”

Chen Xin replied, ”Besides, I don’t think Xu Yun is stupid. We shouldn’t worry about him.”

”...” Li Jinshu.

’Oh, my dear sweet sister, this isn’t about him being stupid or not.’

’The man who might become your husband is out there womanizing, and you’re not going to do anything about it?’

’How can you be so unconcerned?’

But she seemed to have forgotten her own position—she was currently one of the women Xu Yun was womanizing with.

Su Mu had already guessed this would be the outcome, and Yu Xuan didn’t care at all.

Li Jinshu said, ”What do we do? How about we follow him all day tomorrow? We can all go to the gym so that woman doesn’t get a chance.”

”There’s no need for that tomorrow, actually.”

Yu Xuan said, ”The boss is attending a gathering tomorrow. He won’t have time to work out.”

”A gathering? What kind of gathering?”

”A Bentley owners’ club meeting.”

Yu Xuan replied, ”I’ll be accompanying him tomorrow, so I won’t be coming back to sleep here. You don’t have to wait up for me.”

”Where are you going???”

Li Jinshu asked in surprise, ”Is it far?”

”Sorry, I really can’t say.”

Yu Xuan said, looking troubled, ”It involves the boss’s privacy. I can’t tell you without his permission.”

”...” Li Jinshu.

Su Mu wasn’t the least bit interested. She stood up and said, ”Alright, you all can keep chatting. I’m going to bed.”

She never meddled in Xu Yun’s affairs anyway.

Nor did she have any right to.

’Besides, I have to deal with a blind date tomorrow. Just thinking about it gives me a headache.’

...

At Ning Qian’s place, after they were finished, Xu Yun got dressed. Ignoring Ning Qian’s pleading eyes, he heartlessly left.

’The old master said: If a woman can sway your emotions, you have to delete her.’

’But Ning Qian had not yet become the kind of woman who could sway his Mental Method.’

’So there was no need to delete her yet.’

On the way, Xu Yun thought it over and concluded that Chen Xin’s sudden call tonight must have been instigated by someone.

And there were only two women who would instigate her to test him.

One was Su Mu, the other was Li Jinshu.

As for the other one, Yu Xuan, it was impossible. She wouldn’t dare.

’Did they think her fifty-thousand-a-month salary was for nothing?’

As a private secretary, she should know very well what she should and shouldn’t do.

Between Su Mu and Li Jinshu, he felt Li Jinshu was the more likely culprit.

Of all the women, she was the most jealous and petty.

But to be fair, when you have a lot of women around in one place, scheming and backstabbing are bound to happen.

Three women are enough for a drama, after all.

Actually, as long as it didn’t go too far, Xu Yun found the women’s petty squabbles to be harmless.

But as for what happened tonight, he would still have to properly teach the culprit a lesson when he got back.

And how would he teach her a lesson, you ask?

With a rod and a good spanking, of course!

If she’s stubborn and won’t admit it, he’d beat her until she calls him ”Daddy” if necessary!

It’s true what they say: spare the rod for three days, and they’ll be tearing the roof off the house.

He’d only given her a few days off, and she was already starting to act up, ready to defy the Celestial Spirits!
