Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

After bidding farewell to Lin Tianxue, the Demigod stepped out of the courtyard, contemplating whether there were any flaws in the plan. After a while, the Demigod shook his head.

Initially, there was a better, more discreet, and more complete plan. But now it seems so urgent...

The damn All Races Conference, the damn Kangaroo Tribe! Their alliance with the Demon Tribe originally had nothing to do with the plan, yet because of this, Lin Haifeng and Wen Yu quickly thought of the Skyray Control Plan and even the All Races Control Plan...

And Skyray definitely cannot fall into Lin Haifeng’s hands... All these changes caught the Demigod off guard...

In this way, I can only settle for the next best option...

”But then again, with such a straightforward persuasion, will Lin Tianxue become suspicious? My sister has always been very smart...”

The gentle wind rustled around the Demigod’s ears, as if whispering something to him. After a moment, the Demigod nodded lightly.

”Alright, since you say she won’t, then she surely won’t.”

This statement was spoken with extreme confidence! Not confidence in himself, but in the unknown entity he just encountered!

As if talking to himself, the Demigod muttered for a moment, then walked toward the distant teleportation channel.

...

The Demigod’s private movements did not attract attention at all—given the Demigod’s prowess, wanting to evade a few tails and roam the world is seemingly no difficult task at all...

At this moment, the Demigod quietly returned to Australia, then washed up and went to sleep, as if nothing ever happened.

The next day, he continued to clean up the Kangaroo Tribe’s affairs, everything proceeding as usual, without arousing any suspicion.

Until three days later.

...

”Bang.”

The room door closed.

Wen Yu entered the room, continuing to perfect the SSS-class skill scroll in his hands.

He had just stepped out to have a meal downstairs and coincidentally met with the Demigod. Although life in Australia was leisurely and uneventful, not much different from in the Soul Experiment Lab, Wen Yu still inquired about when the Demigod planned to start the operation.

Perhaps it’s the fear that the longer the night lasts, the more dreams will arise.

The Demigod only said that Skyray still hadn’t arrived, so the control plan was temporarily on hold. Although Wen Yu very much wanted to procure the Heart-eating Worm from Kuangliu and insert it into Skyray, the Insect Tribe’s talent is concealment and burrowing underground, making it quite cumbersome, though not difficult, to find a single worm on the vast Earth.

So let’s wait...

Wen Yu had no objections.

The Soul Fire in his hands blazed vigorously, small light specks continually merging. At this moment, Wen Yu’s expression was more focused than ever, experiencing the composition of the skill, finding joy in the subtle changes during the skill’s creation process.

Two hours later, accompanied by flashing lights, Wen Yu pressed the energy mass in his hand onto the opened scroll, announcing the completion of an SSS-class skill scroll.

”Phew...”

Easing a breath, Wen Yu took out another scroll from the space ring and placed it on the table. As the Creation Energy in his right hand was about to be activated, Wen Yu’s movement suddenly halted.

”Bang...”

Droplets of Soul Energy flowed out, as if an invisible large hand pulled the door open, revealing the figure standing behind it.

”Oh, oh, we’ve got a rare guest.”

Looking at the figure he hadn’t seen in over five years, Wen Yu smiled, yet a trace of coldness flickered in his eyes.

The visitor’s intentions were ambiguous...

But the person who visited Wen Yu just walked into the room with a beaming smile, casually sitting next to Wen Yu, and took a large gulp from a cup before wiping his mouth and speaking to Wen Yu.

”Missed me?”

”Of course I did! How could I not? I keep thinking about what kind of mischief you’re up to! Tell me, what brings you here this time? Bai.”

The visitor was none other than Bai, who ventured into the Demon Realm using the Boundary Cracking Device!

When the Origin Extraction Device descended, Wen Yu had also captured a Boundary Cracking Device. Over the years, he had figured out how to operate the device, but being able to cross dimensions is one thing; choosing to go to the Demon Realm is another. In the Demon Tribe, Wen Yu had at least two Level 11 formidable enemies—Legas and the Demon Spirit...

In such circumstances, how could Wen Yu willingly go to the Demon Realm to court death?

The Boundary Cracking Device was left with Wen Yu, truly leaving a gem unseen.

However, judging from the aura emanating from Bai now, he was several levels stronger than the last meeting. It was evident that this old monster had gained many benefits moving back and forth between two worlds—although Bai was certainly not stronger than Wen Yu, purely in terms of displayed strength, he would not lose out to Cyclops...

This implied that Bai was tens of times stronger than the Demigod!

Yet... what difference does it make...

A physical prowess akin to Cyclops, even tens of times stronger than the Demigod, was still insignificant before Wen Yu!

Hearing Wen Yu’s question, Bai leaned forward and spoke mysteriously.

”This time, I’ve come to offer you a huge opportunity!”

”Tsk~~”

Wen Yu chuckled, almost spitting a mouthful of water onto Bai’s face. Opportunity, you say? If you had a big opportunity, why wouldn’t you keep it for yourself? Why leave it for me? Am I your father?

”Cut the crap and get to the point!”

Feeling a little impatient, Wen Yu had just happened upon some inspiration, which Bai’s abrupt visit interrupted. Currently frustrated, and considering Bai’s ambiguous relationship, Wen Yu felt no need to show Bai any courtesy.

Bai didn’t care about Wen Yu’s attitude, merely shrugged.

”Alright, I knew you wouldn’t let go of an eagle without seeing the rabbit first. I have two issues that need solving, and I need your help.”

”Benefits?”

Wen Yu asked succinctly.

”The first matter, I need your help to resolve a trouble. Yes, it involves going to the Demon Realm... Wait, hear me out first...”

Seeing Wen Yu’s decisive wave of the hand, Bai spoke quickly, going straight to the benefit.

”I have a skill extraction device, and coincidentally, the person I need to kill possesses an Esoteric Level spirit-based skill. You kill the person, and I’ll give you the skill!”

Wen Yu frowned... This sounded promising...

”The enemy’s strength and identity?”

”A Level 10 Breakthrough Achiever, whose physical prowess is at the million-level. He is the City Lord of a Demon Clan City. It shouldn’t be difficult for you to deal with someone of this caliber.”

Indeed, it’s not difficult, but the Demon Realm...

After a moment of contemplation, Wen Yu shook his head.

”I can’t help with this. An Esoteric Level spirit-based skill isn’t worth me taking the considerable risk of going to the Demon Realm.”

An Esoteric Level spirit-based skill was enticing to Wen Yu, yet he already had a Level 7 skill—Photosynthetic Spirit Motifs, and even a Level 8 skill—Soul Harvest! The spirit-based Esoteric Level skill was suitable for Wen Yu, but it wasn’t a necessity at this stage. According to Wen Yu’s assessment of the current situation, it would take at least a hundred years or more to break through the Level 9 Level Lock! Over such a long time, wouldn’t he be able to develop a skill himself?

”Alright then...”

Bai said with a smile.

”Let me tell you about the second matter...”
