Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

When the Soul Crystal is full, the professionist can take the Soul Crystal to the Star of Africa to exchange for magic crystals. The price offered by the government purchase station is one Level 6 magic crystal for one full Soul Crystal, a deal that Wen Yu naturally would not lose out on.

The useless Soul Energy will be converted into Creation Energy — this step can be easily completed by Mountain Kui and other Soul Puppets, while the rest will naturally be directly converted into Soul Strength Soul Energy.

This is one of Wen Yu’s daily tasks — extracting Soul Energy from these little beads, though swift, the sheer quantity of Soul Crystals is overwhelming...

With a gentle wave of his right hand, one Soul Crystal after another flew in from afar, landing in Wen Yu’s palm. Then, Wen Yu gently operated his Soul Power, pulling the energy within the Soul Crystal and merging it into himself.

After absorbing for quite a while, and seeing the ”mountain” ahead showing no sign of diminishing, Wen Yu half joyfully, half painfully murmured.

”Alright, the work begins...”

Wen Yu’s monthly routine task is to absorb Soul Energy, a process that roughly takes 5 to 7 days...

Though time-consuming, experiencing his gradual growth, it could be counted as a wonderful thing.

One could only say it’s pain mixed with joy...

...

Multitasking is not a difficulty for a powerful expert like Wen Yu.

Comfortably seated in a chair, Wen Yu both absorbed Soul Crystals and flipped through the space ring. After a short while, a scroll emitting light appeared in Wen Yu’s hand.

Esoteric Level skill upgrade scroll (Species-specific Esoteric Level item): Upgrade an SSS-Class skill to Species-specific Esoteric Level.

A simple little thing, yet Wen Yu searched for it for years...

And there’s only one scroll.

Wen Yu’s huge demand for this item goes without saying. Everything about Soul Masters is great except the overwhelming resource needs.

For the first Esoteric Level skill upgrade scroll he has obtained, Wen Yu also has plans.

Of course, it’s for himself!

The principle of the strong getting stronger is clear to Wen Yu, the bucket theory is nonsense in his eyes.

A quick glance at his six skills actually leaves Wen Yu only one choice.

Soul Strike...

Tearing open the scroll, accompanied by a flash of golden light, when the glow dissipated, Soul Strike had already transformed.

Soul Strike (Species-specific Esoteric Level, Passive Skill): Each attack by the Soul Master inflicts additional Soul Damage on the enemy. The damage depends on the sum of the host’s physical fitness and Soul Strength, while also adding the effects of Soul Intimidation, Soul Weakening, and Soul Deprivation.

Note: Soul Damage is irresistible, and cannot be defended except by Esoteric Level soul defense skills.

Note: When the host touches the enemy’s body, Soul Strike can autonomously activate according to the host’s will, without needing to inflict any external harm on the enemy. (Even if there is a huge disparity in physical fitness, and conventional attacks do not break through defenses, Soul Strike still produces full effect).

Note: Soul Intimidation: When Soul Strike is active, a Soul Strength Judgement is conducted on both sides. If the host’s Soul Strength is higher than the enemy unit, the effect of Soul Strike increases threefold!

Note: Soul Weakening: When Soul Strike is active, it will temporarily weaken the enemy’s Soul Strength.

Note: Soul Deprivation: When Soul Strike is active, it will temporarily enhance the host’s Soul Strength by the weakened Soul Strength of the enemy.
