Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

After the small meeting between the three, the Demigod left first to deploy troops, leaving only Wen Yu and Lin Haifeng in the command post.

After chatting with Lin Haifeng about family matters, Wen Yu also departed, returning to the Star of Africa via the teleportation channel.

Since the extinction plan is entrusted to the Human Race, Sea Clan, and Insect Tribe to resolve, Wen Yu naturally doesn’t need to pay much attention. If these three races can’t eliminate a minor tribe, then that’s a joke...

Thus, Wen Yu’s task is simply to go to Australia once the war starts and collaborate with Lin Haifeng to refine the Skyray control plan.

As for whether the plan will succeed...

Hehe, in today’s world, when Wen Yu wants to accomplish something, nothing is impossible. A mere divine beast species can’t escape Wen Yu’s grasp.

...

The efficiency of the military operations was rather high, and within a day’s time, Fran communicated with Wen Yu saying the plan had begun. Wen Yu, who had just completed two SS-Class skill scrolls, went directly to the Sydney Assembly Site in Australia as planned.

After dialing in the Demigod’s communication, and receiving the location of the Yanjing military’s encampment, Wen Yu went straight to the Demigod.

Still in military attire, still wearing that strange iron mask, the Demigod was handling documents in the camp when Wen Yu appeared. He immediately rose and saluted Wen Yu.

”Sir, you’ve arrived earlier than expected.”

Wen Yu nodded slightly and casually seated himself in a nearby chair, asking the Demigod, ”How are the arrangements?”

”The Kangaroo Tribe might already know the intelligence from the All Races conference, and now the entire tribe has started hiding. But under our military power, they can’t stir up any storm. Reinforcements from the Sea King Tribe have already begun landing. As for the Insect Tribe, due to the distance, it might take a few days for them to arrive. Oh, and it is indeed Skyray leading the Insect Tribe this time.”

Upon hearing the news from the Demigod, Wen Yu nodded slightly: ”How are your preparations?”

This question was about the Skyray control plan.

”There’s not much problem. If you need to act, I’ll inform you in advance. But currently, it seems I can manage this myself without any mistake.”

The Demigod, being the Protector God of the Yanjing Assembly Site, along with the small secret known only to Lin Haifeng and the Demigod, Lin Haifeng has always trusted the Demigod—this can be discerned from the fact that the Skyray control plan was not hidden from the Demigod.

And Wen Yu also considers the Demigod as one of his own—the Demigod plan was known to Wen Yu long ago. The idea that an artificial entity could escape its master’s control is laughable, isn’t it? Additionally, with Lin Haifeng’s persistent intellectual strategies, Wen Yu believes the Demigod is absolutely reliable.

So Wen Yu just nodded: ”I’ll be staying here for a while. Set up a place for me, and inform me of anything promptly.”

The Demigod nodded and then notified his trusted aide to arrange a room for Wen Yu.

As Wen Yu left the room, once he walked a distance away, the Demigod paced back and forth in the room for nearly ten minutes, then seemed to make a decision and took out a communicator from the space ring.

”Doo doo doo doo...”

Amidst the busy signals, a voice came through the communicator.

”Kuangliu, what’s up?”

It wasn’t Lin Haifeng’s voice, but a tone familiar to Wen Yu...

”I need help.”

”Hmm, help? What kind of help...?”

”The plan has changed. Due to some unforeseen factors, we need to advance our plans.”

The other side of the communicator fell silent...

”Advance the plan... A lot of preparations aren’t done, aren’t you afraid of something going wrong?”

”There’s no other choice. As for other preparations, I can handle them in the next few days. You should contact Skyray and the Sea King, and inform them of Lin Haifeng’s plan, then...”

After the Demigod finished speaking, there was a moment of silence on the other side of the communicator, followed by a roguish voice: ”Okay, got it. Wait for my good news.”

...

Leaving the Demigod’s office, Wen Yu followed the Demigod’s trusted aide into the Sydney Assembly Site, staying at the Sydney State Guesthouse. Then, Wen Yu casually started skill research in his room.

Though Wen Yu needs to be stationed here, for minor issues—such as the Kangaroo Tribe extinction plan—it’s unnecessary for Wen Yu to intervene. All that’s left is to wait for the news.

Whether in the Soul Experiment Lab or in Sydney, it is all about waiting, which doesn’t make much difference to Wen Yu. Being in Sydney allows Wen Yu to handle unexpected situations better.

Declining visits from the Sydney Assembly Site leader, Wen Yu began his life as a recluse here.

On the other hand, once the Sea Tribe Legion landed, the Kangaroo Tribe extinction plan immediately commenced. Though the Kangaroo Tribe hides and conceals, under such overwhelming military power, how long can they hide?

The only escape route in Australia—the ocean—has long been blocked by the Sea Clan. Meanwhile, on land, innumerable sea beasts, Australian mutant beasts, and Human Race soldiers began to sweep the Kangaroo Tribe.

In a short time, the entire Kangaroo Tribe suffered total annihilation!

...

The number of kangaroos infected by Demonic Qi was minimal. However, those targeted by the Demon Tribe naturally belonged to the high-end forces within the Kangaroo Tribe. Ordinary kangaroos not infected by Demonic Qi don’t need to be killed to the last one, but it’s crucial to kill a chicken to scare the monkeys and to serve as a warning. Wen Yu must ensure all foreign races understand that betrayal leads to total annihilation! Even the Demon Tribe can’t save you!

Meanwhile, Humans, who cannot be infected by Demonic Qi, are inherently firmly aligned with Wen Yu. Thus, the Kangaroo Tribe happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Three days later, the Demigod led Qin Tian and a group of elites deep into Australia, arriving at a hidden location of the Kangaroo Tribe.

”Here it is. According to intelligence reports, this is one of the secret hideouts of the Kangaroo Tribe and also the location of the magic transformation pool (a crucial facility for Demonic Qi infection). Today’s task is to completely sweep this place, leaving nothing behind!”

”Understood!”

The group of powerful experts behind the Demigod immediately responded with a shout, instantaneously filling the air with murderous intent, stirring the surrounding flowers, grasses, and trees with a rustling sound.

Coincidentally, everyone who came with the Demigod this time were military experts recruited by Lin Tianxue—maybe Lin Haifeng wants to take this opportunity to eliminate several of Lin Tianxue’s confidants and simultaneously reprimand her once more.

The power struggle between the father and daughter has already surfaced, suggesting that the day Lin Haifeng decides to deal with Lin Tianxue is not far off.

The Demigod wasn’t thinking much about this now, just looked around, and only paused when he saw Qin Tian.

”You all can proceed, Qin Tian, come with me.”

As soon as he spoke, the Demigod led Qin Tian into the dense forest first.
