You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

49: Section 49Many people also didn’t participate in this activity because they felt embarrassed to ask others for help.

A Niu was one of them.

After all, as a popular streamer, he certainly didn’t care for Pinduoduo’s small Red Envelopes.

And just half a minute later...

A Niu, who had just successfully helped his mother, suddenly looked surprised.

He looked up at the camera.

”Do you know what it means when a Pinduoduo Red Envelope has a critical hit?”

”Why does it prompt me that as long as I invite new users to help, I can get a mobile phone worth two thousand yuan for free?”

Listening to A Niu’s words, the comments section instantly exploded.

”Holy cow, is it true that Pinduoduo Red Envelopes can have critical hits? I thought it was fake.”

”Why is my Red Envelope only ten yuan? No, next time before I draw a Red Envelope, I must burn some incense first.”

”A friend of mine also had a critical hit on his Pinduoduo Red Envelope, but the number of helpers required for the critical hit was at least over a hundred, which was difficult to complete. My friend eventually gave up too.”

”Critical hit Red Envelopes can’t be completed. This is just a gimmick from Pinduoduo to attract traffic.”

”What the person above said is right. Ordinary cash Red Envelopes from Pinduoduo might have a chance of being completed, but these high-value critical hit Red Envelopes are simply impossible to complete, no matter how many people you invite.”

Looking at the screen full of comments, A Niu also muttered a few words.

”Inviting new users to help and getting a free phone? That’s indeed quite exaggerated.”

”It’s not just you guys.”

”I also don’t believe I can get a free phone.”

Looking at the words ”free phone” that appeared on his phone, A Niu’s expression was quite rich.

The next second...

He suddenly clicked his tongue, as if he had thought of something fun.

He looked up at the camera.

”Didn’t you say that Pinduoduo’s critical hit Red Envelopes are impossible to claim and are just a gimmick?”

”Then today, why don’t we give it a try?”

”Let’s see if the hundreds of thousands of viewers in the live stream can really help me ’cut’ this phone down!”

Chapter 51: Successfully ’Cutting’ the Phone, Shocked Live Stream Viewers!

As soon as A Niu finished speaking,

The number of comments instantly exploded.

”This is a must! Let’s expose Pinduoduo’s critical hit Red Envelope scam!”

”Hahahahaha, Pinduoduo probably never expected that a streamer would have hundreds of thousands of viewers help him ’cut’ a deal.”

”Quick, quick, quick! I can’t wait to see how Pinduoduo will apologize.”

”You, Pinduoduo, if you just gave out cash Red Envelopes, there would be no problem. Why did you have to hide some critical hit Red Envelope? Now you’re in trouble, aren’t you?”

Seeing that the comments were also very enthusiastic, A Niu smiled.

”Wait a moment.”

”I’ll bring up the help page right away.”

A few seconds later,

A Niu brought out Pinduoduo’s help Red Envelope page and placed it in front of the camera.

”You can scan it for me.”

”I also want to see what tricks Pinduoduo is playing.”

Almost the moment A Niu aimed his phone screen at the camera,

An unknown number of viewers had already taken out their phones and started scanning with Pinduoduo.

However, the next second...

Many viewers’ confused comments instantly appeared.

”Something’s not right. Why does it say this QR code has expired when I scan it?”

”I’m getting the same message.”

”Could it be that Pinduoduo is manipulating it like this?”

”Those of you upstairs, can you please read the rules first? Each help QR code can only be scanned by one person. After scanning, you need to refresh for a new QR code.”

Looking at the comments on the screen, A Niu also took back his phone.

Then he looked at the reminder on his Pinduoduo app and suddenly realized.

”That’s right, the first new user has successfully helped, so I need to manually refresh for the second QR code.”

”Wait.”

After refreshing the second QR code,

A Niu once again placed his phone in front of the camera.

This time he was smarter. While aiming the phone screen at the camera, he kept one finger on the refresh QR code interface.

This way,

As soon as someone successfully helped, he could immediately switch to the next QR code.

”Oh, right, it’s best if new users help me. Old users don’t need to, that’s too much trouble.”

A Niu also didn’t forget to remind the audience, telling old users not to scan the code.

Under these circumstances,

The number of helpers on A Niu’s phone began to increase rapidly.

Ten people.

Twenty people.

One hundred people.

Soon,

The number of users helping A Niu ’cut’ the phone reached two hundred.

However, because there were still many old users who helped, the price reduction was not yet successful.

But after a few more minutes, when the number of helpers exceeded three hundred,

The QR code on the help page stopped refreshing.

”It seems like it’s enough, A Niu, quickly check.”

”A Niu, A Niu, stop pressing the refresh button, see if you can claim the phone.”

The comments also instantly boiled, starting to remind A Niu.

Seeing this,

A Niu also brought his phone in front of him and took a deep breath.

”Everyone, watch closely, I’m going to click ’claim’ now.”

Comments kept appearing.

”Quick, quick, quick!”

”I’m also getting a bit impatient.”

”Hurry up.”

The next second...

A Niu aimed his phone screen at the camera and slowly pressed the ’claim’ button.

Ding.

Soon, a line of reminder text appeared in front of everyone.

”Claim failed.”

Seeing this scene,

The comments instantly exploded.

”I knew it was fake. How could it possibly be claimed successfully? It’s already good enough if Pinduoduo gives out Red Envelopes worth dozens or a couple of hundred. Did you really think they would give away a phone?”

”Expected, expected.”

”Critical hit Red Envelopes are not trustworthy. Next time, I won’t burn incense anymore.”
