You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

4: Section 4“But perhaps, this is also an opportunity to change your lives.”

“I also hope that some of you can seize this opportunity.”

“Any more questions?”

As Wang Mo’s words fell, many people began to inquire about more information regarding this software, including how to shoot better videos.

After all, the transformation video Wang Mo just showed was quite eye-catching; these university students were almost immediately attracted and grew curious about Douyin.

Half an hour later.

“Thank you.”

After seeing off the last student, Wang Mo spoke to Ye Youxue beside him.

Ye Youxue was not only the campus belle but also the student union president, and her influence was not weak.

“It was just a small favor. You don’t know how enthusiastic these junior students were when I mentioned your name.”

“When I received your call two days ago, I thought you finally remembered me, but it was just to ask for help.”

Wang Mo smiled.

“I’ll treat you to dinner tonight.”

Ye Youxue, however, looked at the retreating figures of the others and said worriedly,

“But your company doesn’t have much in assets, so why are you willing to spend such a large sum to promote the software? Where did the money come from?”

Wang Mo calmly replied,

“Loans.”

In the final stages of Douyin’s completion, Wang Mo had already raised a large amount of funds and mortgaged his family’s property.

These funds were enough for Douyin to get through the initial phase.

Listening to those two words, Ye Youxue opened her mouth, and the worry in her eyes did not dissipate much. She knew very well that this kind of direct money-dumping promotion would require a lot of money, and the loan amount would probably not be low.

“It’s fine.”

Ye Youxue patted Wang Mo’s shoulder.

“I still stand by what I said: if you fail in your venture, I’ll support you.”

Listening to Ye Youxue’s voice, Wang Mo just smiled helplessly, then looked into the distance.

While he personally came to the school to promote the software,

He had already found ground promotion teams across the country to start promoting the software in major art academies within Yan Country.

As long as one’s appearance was good enough, they would be invited to become a Douyin creator and also receive subsidies.

At the same time.

They were also contacting various bloggers and video creators on other social media platforms, inviting these people to join as well.

Wang Mo knew very well.

The first step for Douyin to succeed must be to have enough high-quality creators.

In addition to seeking creators offline, Wang Mo also placed many advertisements for Douyin online.

And under Douyin’s crazy promotion,

The number of creators and users was continuously skyrocketing.

Time.

Soon, it was one month after Douyin officially launched.

Douyin officially entered the top twenty of mobile software download charts, with downloads exceeding 300,000, and daily active users reaching 100,000.

And on this day.

A video climbed to fifteenth place on weibo hot search, bringing huge traffic to Douyin.

And this hot search only had four simple characters.

One-second transformation!

Chapter 5: Tencent Enters the Fray, Competitors Are About to Appear (First day, seeking all data!)

In an internet cafe in a southern city of Yan Country.

A university student was bored, scrolling through Weibo.

Soon.

A hot search appeared before him.

“One-second transformation, what is this?”

After muttering to himself, this person clicked into the hot search.

Immediately.

A video only a few tens of seconds long appeared before him.

At the beginning of the video, a very ordinary-looking, bare-faced woman was yawning into a mirror, but the next second, as the BGM suddenly started, the screen flashed, and the woman in the video instantly transformed into an incredibly exquisite goddess-level figure.

“Holy cow.”

Such a huge change directly startled this person.

Apparently, this person had completely unexpected the direction of the video’s content.

“This isn’t just a costume change; how did she even change her face? This makeup truly lives up to being one of the four evil arts.”

“But the transformation is pretty cool.”

Listening to his voice, his friend beside him also poked his head over.

“Lao Yang, what’s wrong?”

“Look at this.” Lao Yang showed him his phone.

At this time, the video had not yet ended.

After all, this video was a compilation of several transformation videos.

The next second, a new scene appeared.

A man sat facing the camera, holding a lighter in his hand. The next second, the lighter was flicked, and as a flash of fire appeared, this person also completed an extremely cool transformation.

Then, several different outfits continuously appeared on this person with flashes.

This cool video instantly completely captured the attention of both of them.

At the same time.

This mixed-cut transformation video finally finished playing, and at the end of the video, a download link accompanied by a line of text appeared before the two.

“Douyin, record a beautiful life.”

At this point, the video finished playing.

“That’s interesting, I’ll go download it.”

“And the production difficulty of this kind of transformation video doesn’t seem high. I’ll go back and shoot a couple too.”

“Actually, it’s not just transformations; I’d like to shoot some funny skits.”

Although the two came to play games, at this moment, more than half of their attention was drawn by this hot search.

And at this time.

Countless similar events were constantly unfolding across the country.

And this hot search.

Brought at least millions of traffic to Douyin.

And most crucially, this video was not a hot search bought by Douyin; it was just a transformation video mixed and edited by a Douyin blogger himself.

Relying on the quality of the video itself and the one-second transformation that no one had ever seen before.

This video literally climbed onto the weibo hot search on its own!

.

At the same time.

As the name Douyin was continuously learned by countless people because of this hot search.

Inside the Tencent Building in Modu.

A design team leader from a software department pushed open the department head’s office and submitted a document about Douyin.

“Manager, you have to see this.”

After taking the document handed over by the team leader, the head also read it carefully.

And the more he read, the more serious his expression became.
