23: Section 23“What, that senior entered the live stream?”

“Streamer, quickly tell us his username! I want to see what right this person has to be liked by the streamer.”

“He’s just a poor boy, why does he deserve my goddess’s favor?!”

“It seems to be the one named ‘OneTwoThreeFour’; only that person entered the live stream just now.”

“I hate it! Why isn’t the person the streamer likes me?”

Just as countless bullet comments were condemning Wang Mo,

a gift notification instantly silenced the entire live stream.

“OneTwoThreeFour sent 100 Carnivals.”

Chapter 24: The Potential of Douyin Live Streaming, Incomplete Live Streaming Sections.

“OneTwoThreeFour sent 100 Carnivals.”

As this message appeared,

a magnificent Carnival special effect filled Ye Youxue’s live stream, taking up the entire screen.

At the same time,

users in other live streams also saw this horizontal screen message in the upper right corner; simply clicking on it would directly jump them to Ye Youxue’s live stream.

Originally, Ye Youxue’s live stream only had four to five thousand viewers.

But after Wang Mo sent the Carnivals, the number of viewers surged like a tsunami directly to over 100,000!

Under normal circumstances, one Carnival wouldn’t attract so many people.

However, because it was Douyin’s first day of live streaming, many users didn’t know what a Carnival represented and simply poured into Ye Youxue’s live stream.

And in the next second,

those viewers who were already in Ye Youxue’s live stream instantly spammed bullet comments after seeing Wang Mo’s grand gesture.

“Holy cow, one hundred Carnivals!”

“Damn, I didn’t see wrong, did I? Is this Douyin’s most expensive gift?”

“It seems so, three thousand each! This person just threw out one hundred right away, and the gift effect is still ongoing. That’s directly 300,000 thrown out!”

“The splendor of this effect completely blows Douyu out of the water, doesn’t it?!”

“Big shot, big shot! Is this the streamer’s senior’s true strength?”

“I was just babbling that this person must have failed his business, but now that I see it, isn’t he a proper rich guy?!”

“This senior, I’m also quite pretty. If I start streaming now, will you send me a gift?”

All the viewers hadn’t expected that the senior Ye Youxue mentioned earlier would be so powerful.

Without saying a word, he sent out one hundred Carnivals.

Wang Mo was also a bit confused when he saw the screen full of bullet comments.

He hadn’t looked at the bullet comments when he first entered the live stream; he had directly sent gifts to Ye Youxue.

Only after sending the gifts did he realize, how did all the bullet comments seem to know he was Ye Youxue’s senior?

And Ye Youxue’s face also flushed red after seeing Wang Mo send the gifts.

Then she softly said,

“Th-thank you, Senior.”

Ye Youxue was also very surprised, because this seemed to be the first time Wang Mo had sent her a gift. Although it was a digital gift, its value was not low.

One had to know that she had always been the one sending gifts before.

Wang Mo also sent out one of his own bullet comments.

“I should be thanking you instead. Come to my company tomorrow; there are some things I’d like to discuss with you.”

For a period after Douyin was first launched, in order to attract users, Ye Youxue almost daily posted several different videos, and she also tried her best to promote Douyin in various places.

When Douyin ads were first launched, Ye Youxue also specifically contacted many merchants to have them place ads on Douyin.

So Wang Mo had always wanted to find an opportunity to thank her.

Now that Douyin had live streaming content, Wang Mo also planned to build Ye Youxue into a top Douyin streamer.

Having her come to his company tomorrow was to discuss various matters and prepare to sign Ye Youxue.

After saying this, Wang Mo exited the live stream.

However, looking at the bullet comment Wang Mo sent, the other viewers didn’t understand Wang Mo’s meaning and immediately wailed.

“W-what is he preparing to do? Is this person planning to make a move on the streamer?”

“Oh no, the streamer is going to fall in love!”

Looking at the screen full of bullet comments, Ye Youxue was also somewhat amused and exasperated, but she was indeed a little excited for tomorrow to arrive.

At this moment,

besides Ye Youxue’s live stream,

many other live streams also began to continuously receive various gifts.

Some coal bosses, after seeing the luxurious special effects of the Carnival in Ye Youxue’s live stream, even started sending Carnivals to the streamers they followed.

On this day, almost all Douyin users with a certain fan base started live streaming.

Among them,

there were indeed many people whose live stream content attracted users’ attention.

One by one, future big streamers had already sensed the future potential of Douyin live streaming.

Although on the day the Douyin live streaming section went online, Douyu held various events, and Weikan also opened its backend access to Douyu.

But all of this seemed to have no impact on Douyin.

On that day, over three thousand Douyin live streams were opened.

A total of one million person-times watched various live streams.

The value of gifts sent, even excluding the one hundred Carnivals sent by Wang Mo, exceeded one million.

This kind of data, for a software that had just opened up a live streaming section on its first day, was already a quite good achievement.

And Wang Mo knew clearly.

This was only the first step of Douyin live streaming.

What needed to be done now

was to stabilize the live streaming section first.

They needed to cultivate a group of users who were accustomed to watching live streams on Douyin.

PK and live stream e-commerce, Wang Mo had not yet implemented them into the live streaming section.

After these two are implemented, Douyin live streaming will be truly complete!

Chapter 25: Douyu Live Streaming’s Confidence, Not Taking Douyin Seriously.

The day after Douyin launched its live streaming section,

Ye Youxue came to Wang Mo’s office and signed a contract with Douyin, becoming Douyin’s first contracted streamer.

Although Douyin live streaming could be done without any restrictions,

contracted streamers would not only receive recommendations from Douyin, but their gift revenue share would also become six to four or seven to three.

Therefore, in the previous life’s Douyin,

many large top streamers were signed with Douyin.

And as Douyin launched its live streaming section, more and more people began to try live streaming on their phones.

After all, mobile live streaming was simply too convenient, with almost no requirements.

Douyu live streaming still had to be done in front of a computer, and not that many people had the energy and time for that.

But Douyin live streaming was completely different; a single phone could do it.

So, in the period that followed,

the number of Douyin live streams opened daily continued to increase rapidly.

In just half a month,

the number of daily live streamers had already exceeded ten thousand!

This data was already quite impressive for Douyin.

The total daily gift revenue was at least several hundred thousand, occasionally even reaching over a million.
