You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

37: Section 37He knew very well that even if Douyin didn’t have evidence of his contact with Weikan, this video was enough to prove his theft.

And Wang Mo’s voice slowly rang out.

“I usually have the habit of secretly installing hidden cameras in my room, and this camera is independent of our company’s surveillance.”

“So it just happened to capture some things.”

But listening to Wang Mo’s voice,

Li Wenqiu laughed and said,

“Even if the person next to me really stole Douyin’s Big Data code, how can you determine that I had contact with him?”

“How can you be sure that we instructed this person to steal the code?”

The lawyer Li Wenqiu invited on the side also nodded.

“The video content has nothing to do with Weikan.”

“The police have previously investigated Li Wenqiu and Liao Yi and found no communication records between them.”

Listening to their words,

Wang Mo chuckled.

“Who said I needed evidence of contact between you two?”

Wang Mo’s gaze slowly turned to the two.

“I just need to provide evidence that the Big Data you Weikan use comes from Douyin.”

“Do you really think…”

“I didn’t leave anything in the code that you stole?”

Listening to Wang Mo’s words,

Li Wenqiu’s heart tightened instantly.

He wanted to say something more, but found his lips extremely chapped.

The next second,

He looked at President Ma in the audience.

At this time, President Ma’s expression was also not very good.

After taking a deep breath,

Li Wenqiu finally spoke.

“Our Weikan’s Big Data code has no problems whatsoever and bears no resemblance to your Douyin Big Data.”

“Before this, we had already specifically found an institution to appraise it.”

“The similarity between Weikan Big Data’s code and Douyin Big Data’s code is less than 20%.”

“This is the appraisal report and a printed comparison of both codes.”

Li Wenqiu had his lawyer present the evidence.

After examining the document and the comparison, the judge also nodded.

“This level of similarity indeed does not constitute plagiarism and cannot prove that Weikan Big Data came from Douyin.”

“Plaintiff, do you have any more evidence to submit?”

Wang Mo smiled.

“Judge, we have no evidence to submit. Our evidence is the Weikan Big Data document that the defendant just gave you.”

“We also have a backup of this document here.”

Wang Mo slowly stood up and walked towards Li Wenqiu with the document in front of him.

“Please, President Li, first confirm.”

“Is the Big Data code recorded in this document the Big Data code that your Weikan used before it was taken down?”

Li Wenqiu took the document from Wang Mo’s hand with a serious expression, then confidently examined it.

After a while,

He slowly nodded.

“The code data recorded on this document is indeed the Big Data code that our Weikan used before it was taken down.”

“The document we submitted to the judge just now was also this one.”

Seeing Li Wenqiu confirm, Wang Mo slowly turned and returned to his seat.

At this moment, the judge spoke again.

“Plaintiff, what do you mean by saying this document is the evidence you prepared?”

Wang Mo smiled.

“Before answering this question, I want to confirm two pieces of information.”

“Liao Yi did indeed steal our company’s Big Data code, and three days later, Weikan launched its upgraded Big Data.”

“Can this information be confirmed now?”

The judge nodded.

“Based on the current evidence and clues,”

“These two points can indeed be confirmed.”

“However, merely based on the information that Weikan launched new Big Data three days after the code was stolen, it cannot be confirmed that this Big Data came from Douyin; the two might just be a coincidence.”

“You need to submit more detailed evidence.”

Wang Mo nodded.

“I naturally know.”

“Please, Judge, open the Big Data code image that Weikan just submitted.”

Upon hearing this,

The judge opened the document in his hand again.

And Wang Mo’s voice rang out again.

“Many people like to use various colors when writing code to reduce the monotony.”

“In Weikan’s Big Data code, there is an extremely rare, seldom-used light green code.”

“This code only covers the numbers zero and one, appearing in various locations within Weikan’s Big Data code.”

“After deleting the extraneous content and only leaving the light green code, a string of numbers composed of zeros and ones can be obtained like this.”

Wang Mo submitted the document in his hand to the judge and to everyone in the defendant’s stand.

“Everyone can first confirm that I have not made any modifications to this string of numbers.”

“It comes from Weikan’s Big Data.”

Listening to Wang Mo’s words,

The judge began to have his assistant confirm, while Li Wenqiu in the defendant’s stand also began to examine the numbers Wang Mo provided and started to compare them.

After the judge confirmed, he looked at the defendant’s stand.

“Defendant, can you confirm that this string of numbers comes from Weikan Big Data?”

Li Wenqiu nodded very reluctantly.

“Indeed.”

Although he still didn’t know what Wang Mo was up to, he vaguely sensed that something was wrong.

And the judge looked at Wang Mo again.

“The authenticity of this string of numbers can be confirmed, but what does it represent?”

Wang Mo took a deep breath.

“Considering zero as a short signal and one as a long signal.”

“This is a Morse code message.”

“Interpreting it yields this sentence.”

“This code belongs to Douyin Junzi Group, and may not be borrowed or used by any company without permission!”

As soon as Wang Mo’s words came out, Li Wenqiu’s back was instantly drenched in cold sweat.

And Wang Mo’s next sentence,

Almost made Li Wenqiu faint in the defendant’s stand.
