You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

25: Section 25And this update only had a few simple words.

“Launching Live PK function.”

This update was not mandatory and had no impact on regular users.

However, if a streamer wanted to go live, they had to update.

“Live PK, what is this?”

Ali looked at the update notification on her phone, feeling a bit confused.

She was now one of the streamers with the most followers on Douyin, and one of Douyin’s few gift events worth six or seven hundred thousand was from her.

Among her fans were several coal bosses and super-rich individuals.

Although she wasn’t entirely sure what Live PK was, she couldn’t continue streaming without updating.

So, Ali simply updated Douyin.

After the update was complete, she immediately started her stream for the day.

“Streamer, streamer, why are you so slow today?”

“Exactly, it’s several minutes slower than yesterday.”

Looking at the bullet comments on her phone, Ali apologized sheepishly.

“Sorry about that.”

“Douyin just had an update, and if you want to stream, you have to update.”

“It seems they launched some kind of Live PK function; I’m going to click and check it out now.”

“Let me see, it looks like I can send PK requests to people. Who should I send it to?”

Just as Ali was checking her friends list, a PK request popped up directly in front of her.

“It’s her? This woman is challenging me to a PK?”

Ali clicked accept.

Instantly.

The live stream screen was split in two, and another popular streamer appeared on the opposite side.

This person was named Yang Zi, also one of the most popular female streamers on Douyin right now, with many followers. Crucially, Si Cong was also her fan and had sent her many gifts, always being her top supporter.

Her highest single-stream gift total had also reached six or seven hundred thousand.

Because their streaming styles were similar and the videos they posted were similar, they were often compared to each other.

And each of them felt that the other had copied their streaming style, or their video type.

So, the two of them were not on good terms, and their fans often argued in the comments sections of their respective videos.

“Why are you challenging me to a PK?” Ali said, not in a good tone.

Yang Zi also sneered.

“I just saw a PK function appear, so I wanted to try it out with you, didn’t I?”

“Let’s first see what this PK actually means.”

As soon as she finished speaking.

The two of them began to read the detailed introduction to Live PK.

“Live PK is decided by gifts. The side with more gifts is the winner and can make the loser undergo various punishments at will!”

“Punishments can be mutually agreed upon beforehand, or they can be physical punishments like drawing on faces or doing squats and push-ups.”

Looking at the detailed introduction to Live PK, both of them already understood what Live PK represented.

Their respective fans also understood Live PK from their words.

“How do we play?” Ali asked.

Yang Zi let out a cold laugh.

“The loser can’t stream or post videos for a week!”

Hearing this, Ali instantly froze.

“Playing for such high stakes?”

Currently, Ali streamed and posted videos every day, with each stream bringing in at least tens of thousands in income.

If she didn’t stream for a week, it would have a huge impact on her.

“Can’t you handle it?” Yang Zi taunted.

And Ali was indeed hesitating.

However, at this moment, seeing their favorite streamer being mocked, several coal bosses and rich individuals in the comments couldn’t sit still.

“Streamer, fight her! I’ve been annoyed by that person for a long time!”

“Exactly, streamer, don’t be a coward, we have money!”

Seeing her top supporter and fans speak up, Ali also nodded.

“Then let’s do it, but we’ve already wasted a lot of time just now, let’s restart the PK!”

“Alright!”

Chapter 27: Single Stream Breaks Ten Million, Shocks Douyu!

As soon as the two streamers’ PK began.

Several of Ali’s rich fans continuously sent dozens of carnivals, instantly making Ali’s data overwhelm the other side.

“Not having to see the other side for a week, it’s so great, streamer, don’t worry, I’ll definitely make you win.”

“Streamer, to be honest, I have a mine at home, I’ll definitely help you win today.”

Looking at the messages on the screen, Ali was also a bit excited.

However.

Yang Zi’s fans were not to be trifled with either.

Soon, the other side sent out even more gifts, with a direct value exceeding two hundred thousand.

It should be noted.

The gifts Ali had just received were only worth about one hundred thousand.

Seeing this, Ali was also a bit nervous, because she really didn’t want to stop streaming for a week.

“Everyone, if we lose, you won’t be able to see me for a week.”

“Come on.”

As soon as Ali finished speaking.

Another screen full of gifts was sent out.

“Don’t worry, streamer, I just went to the other stream’s room and saw that their top supporter isn’t there, so they’ll definitely lose. I’m going all out today.”

Within ten-odd seconds.

Ali received over five hundred thousand in gifts again, instantly crushing the other side’s data.

And just then.

Ali’s previous top supporter, who hadn’t said much, finally spoke.

“I’ve been annoyed by that woman on the other side for a long time.”

“To win, we have to completely crush them, leaving nothing left of their face.”

The next second.

Gifts with a total value exceeding one million were sent out all at once!

Looking at the data that popped up on the screen.

Both streamers and all users in the live stream room were completely stunned.

No one had expected Ali’s top supporter to be so extravagant.

Previously, the most this person had sent in gifts was only four or five hundred thousand, but this time he sent out one million all at once!

Seeing the completely overwhelmed data, Yang Zi also couldn’t sit still.

She had originally thought the other side wouldn’t dare to accept this PK punishment, but she hadn’t expected the usually timid Ali to accept it.

If she lost, she also wouldn’t be able to stream for a week.

Thinking of this.
