Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 141: Chapter 141 Don’t like looking at them? Then I’ll put my shoes on.

”Don’t like looking at them? Then I’ll put my shoes on.”

”No, no, no, I like looking at them very much. I just wanted to ask, no need to put them on...”

Putting down the pink high-heeled sandals she had picked up, Kano lifted her jade feet wrapped in white silk to admire them herself.

For boys, they should be quite... appetizing, right?

”As for the reason, you like to watch, and the readers like to watch too; besides, it’s quite comfortable not wearing shoes. That’s probably the reason.”

”At first, I took them off because Ninja shoes didn’t match my clothes at all; they didn’t look good, so I took them off.”

”Later, after I switched to high heels, it was because walking in high heels is tiring, so I’d take them off from time to time to rest my feet.”

”Now it’s just because I’m used to it; it’s very comfortable to take off my shoes.”

”I see, I see.”

”Oh my~ So Naruto has been staring at my feet all along~ How lewd~”

”No, it’s not like that, ah, well...”

”No need to make excuses. I didn’t say you couldn’t look. You like it, and it’s not like I’m losing anything. It’s just, I feel like you’re very curious today.”

”Well, it’s just that after talking with Kurama, I wanted to understand the people around me better.”

”On that point, you can ask Kano how she does it; the people around her are practically stark naked in front of her.”

Sasuke’s words gave Kano a start; she thought her X-ray vision had been discovered.

One of the effects of the Cool Idol Eyes was to see through one layer. For example, she could see through one wall, but not two. The same went for clothes; she could only see through the outer layer, not the inner one.

”I’m not that smart, I’m just a bit curious. And I don’t ask everyone I see; I just care about the people in our team.”

”Oh, speaking of which, are you guys curious...”

”Curious about what?”

Kano didn’t know what Naruto had thought of now, but following Naruto was quite fun, whether it was peeping at the women’s bathhouse or playing Ninja games with Konohamaru.

”What Kakashi-sensei looks like under his mask.”

”I want to see!”

”Not curious.”

Kano also really wanted to try and see if she could take off Kakashi’s mask. Sasuke, on the other hand, really thought it was pointless.

”Will he have thick lips?”

Sasuke paused and imagined it in his mind.

Seeing it was working, Naruto pressed his advantage.

”Or maybe buck teeth.”

”You win!”

Thus, Sasuke’s curiosity was also piqued.

”Kano, have you ever seen Kakashi’s true face?”

Sasuke thought that since Kano had strange information-gathering abilities, maybe she had seen it.

”I did see it once. In my memory, he’s quite handsome, but I didn’t leave a photo. We should take this opportunity to take a photo of him. I also happen to want to send the photo to the Land of Water for Kakashi-sensei’s blind date partner to see.”

”Blind date partner?” ”Land of Water?”

Naruto and Sasuke asked one after another. They had guessed Kano might have seen Kakashi’s true face, but they didn’t expect such a big piece of gossip to be revealed.

”Yeah, it was when we went to perform for the Land of Fire’s Daimyo. A beautiful lady approached me and wanted me to hold a concert in the Hidden Mist Village, so I proposed the condition of her going on a blind date with Kakashi-sensei.”

”Look, Kakashi-sensei isn’t getting any younger; it’s time he found a wife. Since he hasn’t found anyone he likes after so long in Konoha Village, I scouted a foreign beauty for him. And she agreed to come to Konoha Village later to date Kakashi-sensei.”

”So I wanted to take this opportunity to show her the photo and put her mind at ease.”

”So, Kano, does Kakashi-sensei know that you set him up on a blind date?”

”Ah! I forgot to tell him.”
