Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 112: Chapter 112 He had underestimated Kano.

He had underestimated Kano.

He didn’t expect her to become this strong in just two short months.

”Hehe, it seems today I won’t get...”

”Leaving just because you want to? You look down on me, don’t you?”

Seeing that Orochimaru was about to flee, how could Kano let him go easily? She said she would keep his snake skin, so at the very least, she had to take one of his lives.

Shadow Hiruzen and Shadow Lu attacked simultaneously, batting Orochimaru around like a ball, while Shadow Zabuza went to cut down Yakushi Kabuto.

Kano also joined the battle carrying her hunting flute. Since this guy dared to plot against her, if she didn’t beat the crap out of him this time, it would be because he was already empty.

It had to be said that Orochimaru was truly thick-skinned. Even with Shadow Hiruzen, Shadow Deer Tube, and Kano—the three of them using blunt instruments—after fighting for so long, he could still breathe.

”Kano! Even without you, I have a way to treat my hands.”

”Then do you believe me? I’ll make it so your whole being is unusable right now!”

Shadow Hiruzen clapped his hands together! The silly-looking Shinigami appeared!

The target locked onto Orochimaru, scaring him to death! He never imagined that this Shadow Ninja could even use the Reaper Death Seal.

A Shadow Ninja has no soul, so even if the Shinigami is summoned, it cannot take the Shadow Ninja’s soul. Now the Shinigami could only aim at the target and pull the soul out ruthlessly, otherwise it wouldn’t even break even.

Orochimaru used his snake skin to cheat four and a half souls, while Kano directly tricked the Shinigami for free.

I’m only entering a half-hour resurrection cooldown, but you, my friend, are losing your entire soul.

One must know that the Third Hokage’s soul strength and power were also super strong; back then, he traded one for 2.5 souls.

”Let’s talk this out! Put the Shinigami down!”

”Can’t put it down, you must die today!”

”Wtf, don’t, I can give you anything!”

”I’ll teach you to threaten my family! Now you know fear? Too late!”

Tsunade and Jiraiya couldn’t see the Shinigami; they could only see the two people plus the Shadow Ninja chasing each other. Orochimaru fled in various styles, while Kano sat on Shadow Deer Tube’s shoulder in hot pursuit.

”Do you understand what they are doing?”

”I don’t.”

Both felt that this battle was a bit abnormal.

”How would I dare threaten you! I will absolutely never touch your family again! Stop chasing, I’ll protect your family from now on! I’ll never let them be threatened!”

”Really?”

Actually, Kano didn’t really want to kill Orochimaru; although this person was bad, he was truly useful. Besides, without the Four Violet Flames Formation this time, even with the Reaper Death Seal, he might have escaped.

Seeing that Kano was somewhat moved, Orochimaru felt there was a chance.

”That’s right, I will specifically send people to protect your family in the future, the kind where no one’s threats will work. I guarantee I will put your family’s lives first.”

”Fine then, but I have to add one more condition: you must be available whenever I need to find you.”

”No problem, whatever you say. Quickly put away this Shinigami!”

”Additionally, I want this snake skin of yours. I said I’d beat you to death, so I’ll beat you to death. If I don’t beat you to death today, wouldn’t I be going back on my word? Anyway, you have plenty of life-saving methods, losing one life won’t hurt.”

”Fine, but you promise not to use the Reaper Death Seal.”

”No problem.”

Orochimaru stood up straight, letting Kano wail on him.

”Seeing how obedient you are, I’ll give you a little reward. Genjutsu: Fragrant Teeth.”

Orochimaru instantly felt the pain in his hands vanish and sensation return.

”This is?”

”It’s temporarily using Genjutsu to simulate part of your soul, enough for your hands to use Ninjutsu. But this is only temporary. If you really want to be completely cured, don’t come looking for me so openly.”

Feeling his hands restored, Orochimaru grinned and was beaten to death by Kano without a struggle. But his true body turned into a small white snake and escaped through the ground.

This body wasn’t Orochimaru’s original body anyway; discarding it was just discarding it. At worst, he could just find another one.

Kano stepped forward to check. After removing Orochimaru’s face, she found that it was the corpse of a woman.

Coincidentally, she didn’t know if this counted as just having died, and she was quite short on female shadows, so she conveniently extracted it.

After extracting it, she realized something was wrong!

This is Orochimaru’s shadow?!
