Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Decided, Kano is the Infinite Tsukuyomi

The foolish Naruto jumped onto the table. He didn’t know why the Pervy Sage wanted Tsunade to become the fifth hokage, but since she refused, wasn’t this his chance?

This was a chance to become the Hokage! He had to fight for it; what if it actually happened?

”Who is this brat?”

”My name is Uzumaki Naruto, remember it well!”

Kano was tugging at his pants, telling him to get down quickly—it was so embarrassing. But this was a chance to become Hokage; even with Kano-chan trying to stop him, he wanted to try.

”Never heard of him.”

Shizune whispered into the drunken Tsunade’s ear, ”He is the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.”

”Oh, so he’s the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. Since he wants to be it, let him be it.”

”Alright!”

Hearing someone support him becoming Hokage, Naruto happily sat back down. Although Kano hit him on the head again, he was very happy. The big sister in front of him was truly a good person.

”Nonsense! Tsunade, this was decided by the village higher-ups.”

”Then I’m not going either. Being Hokage is a high-risk profession; whoever takes it dies. Only a reckless fool would want to do it! Whether it’s my First Granduncle or Second Granduncle, Sarutobi-sensei or the Fourth Hokage, it’s all the same.”

”Don’t you talk about them like that! The Hokage are all great people!”

He had just thought this big sister was a good person, but then she started badmouthing the Hokage, making him feel she wasn’t so good after all.

”Kid, do you want to be the Hokage?”

”Of course! Becoming the Hokage is my dream!”

Naruto spoke with pride. Kano felt it was embarrassing, but she liked his confident look. Tsunade, her face slightly flushed from drink, smiled and looked at Kano.

”Little girl, do you want to be the Hokage?”

She hadn’t expected the topic to turn to her, but the question wasn’t hard to answer, so she replied truthfully.

”I don’t want to be the Hokage; it’s too much trouble. But helping Naruto become the Hokage is fine.”

Tsunade nodded, then looked at Shizune.

”Shizune, do you want to be the Hokage?”

”I don’t want to either. I only want to stay by Lady Tsunade’s side.”

She nodded again and looked at Jiraiya.

”See? I don’t want it, you don’t want it, the little girl doesn’t want it, and Shizune doesn’t want it. Only this fool wants it. Just let him have it.”

For a moment, Naruto didn’t know if Tsunade was helping him or insulting him.

”Impossible. Even if he becomes the Hokage, no one will acknowledge him.”

”Who says no one? I acknowledge him. Keep it up, kid, I support you!”

”Thank you for your support! I will definitely become the best Hokage!”

”You guys! This is just a minority; it won’t convince the public!”

”Then let’s have a vote among everyone here. Raise your hand if you support him becoming the Hokage.”

Tsunade was the first to raise her hand, and almost at the same time, Naruto raised both of his. Then Tsunade stared at Kano with a stern gaze, while Naruto looked at Kano with pleading eyes.

Sighing helplessly, Kano also silently raised her hand.
