Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 35: Chapter 35 Leave this place to us!

Just as Kano was about to start today’s performance, mist appeared. Speak of the devil.

”Everyone, fall back!”

Kano put down her guitar and shouted at the workers. The workers didn’t know what Kano meant, but they all ran to her side, concerned.

”What’s wrong, little girl? Are you feeling unwell?”

”Did you discover something?”

Facing the concern of the worker uncles, Kano explained truthfully.

”An enemy is coming!”

”As expected of a Sensor-type Ninja, to be able to detect us from so far away.”

Hearing Zabuza’s voice, Kano couldn’t help but want to complain. Are you still treating me like a sensor Ninja? Didn’t you realize I was deceiving you from the start?

The uncles also hurriedly raised their tools and blocked the way, shielding Kano behind them.

Kano was a bit dazed. Why did it seem like she was the one who needed protection?

”Uncles, step back. The opponent is a Ninja; you can’t beat him. Let me do it; I’m a Ninja too.”

”Don’t be afraid, little sister! Even if we can’t win, we won’t let him hurt you!”

”Exactly, how could we let a little girl protect us?”

The uncle’s legs were trembling as he spoke. Facing Zabuza’s killing intent, everyone was terrified, but they didn’t take a single step back.

Kano wanted to step forward, but she was surrounded by the uncles and couldn’t get close at all.

Just then, Kakashi arrived, bringing Naruto and Sasuke with him.

”Kano, take them and fall back. Protect Mr. Tazuna.”

”Leave this place to us!”

Naruto was also very confident; this time facing Zabuza, he had to perform even better!

Sasuke was also staring intently at Haku, intending to duel him this time. Haku saw through his intention, and the two ran off.

Kano also prepared to charge forward aggressively, but the uncles pulled her back with them as they retreated. Even Tazuna didn’t want her to step forward.

Kano sighed helplessly.

”Fine, as a commander, I won’t stand at the front. You three, come out.”

The shadow beneath her high heels elongated, and three Shadow Ninjas jumped out, guarding the workers from three different directions.

The workers were startled at first, cautiously pointing their tools at the Shadow Ninjas. But knowing these were summoned by Kano and were her Ninjutsu, they immediately stopped worrying.

Neither Kakashi nor Zabuza made a move. Zabuza knew Haku wouldn’t lose; killing a brat was as easy as turning over a hand. Kakashi, on the other hand, had to protect Mr. Tazuna. He was the only one on the scene who could stop Zabuza.

If he went to support Sasuke, Zabuza would surely kill everyone else.

Kano was also protecting the others; the only one who could move freely was Naruto. But Naruto wasn’t as impulsive anymore; he wanted to fight Zabuza, but he wanted to protect Kano even more!

”Zabuza, I guessed you would come again.”

”Then I’ve really kept you waiting. You’re still the same, bringing these brats along.”

After saying that, he even glared at Naruto; clearly, he held a grudge. Naruto glared back; clearly, he wasn’t afraid.

Although Zabuza said that, he didn’t underestimate these brats. The damage they caused him last time was even higher than Kakashi’s.

Especially that little girl; the reason those brats were so troublesome was all because of her schemes.

”Let me see if you can protect that old man while bringing along these brats!”

Then the thick fog grew denser, and Zabuza disappeared from sight. Only the faint sound of fighting from Sasuke’s direction could be heard.

Kakashi activated his Sharingan, and Naruto created Shadow Clones to fill the formation’s positions. Kano, too, was tense, ready to face a sudden attack at any moment.
