Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 28: Chapter 28: Special Training

Everyone arrived at Tazuna’s house, put away their luggage, had a delicious meal, and rested for a day. It wasn’t until the next day that Kakashi brought the three to a small grove. Naruto was dragged out by Kano, who was pulling his collar, otherwise he would have started arguing with Tazuna’s grandson, Inari.

”Alright, training starts now!”

”Okay!”

”Okay.”

Naruto responded enthusiastically, Kano responded perfunctorily, and Sasuke didn’t respond.

But the most serious was Sasuke; he was eager to become stronger now.

Kakashi first explained the basic principles of Chakra to the idiot Naruto, but that idiot couldn’t understand it at all.

”What are you talking about? It’s too difficult, I can’t understand it at all! I just need to remember it with my body, right?”

”As Naruto said, we can already use Ninjutsu now.”

Sasuke also agreed with Naruto’s point; he wanted to learn more powerful Ninjutsu now.

”No, none of you can use Chakra flexibly yet.”

”Sensei, I can!”

Kano raised her small hand, very proudly.

”As expected of Kano-chan!”

Kakashi thought about how Kano could already participate in battles on water, so it seemed to be the case, and he changed his words.

”Then the two of you can’t use Chakra flexibly. No matter how much Chakra you train, if you can’t control the balance, the effect of the Jutsu might not only be halved but might even fail to activate successfully.”

”Then what should we do?”

”Then remember the feeling of balance with your body. It’s very hard training.”

”So how do we do it?”

Sasuke was a bit impatient.

”Tree climbing.”

”Tree climbing?” ”Tree climbing?”

Naruto and Sasuke were both confused, wondering if such a simple method would work.

”Yes, but not simple tree climbing. It’s tree climbing without using your hands. Kano, you go demonstrate it.”

”Okay!”

Kano, like a model student, obediently stepped forward to show off, with a slight smirk.

Stepping onto the tree, she walked vertically up the trunk using only her feet. Then she continued upwards, reaching a branch. She stood upside down beneath the branch, holding her skirt with both hands, one in front and one behind, to prevent it from hanging down.

From the side, one could even notice that Kano wasn’t wearing those detestable safety shorts. Naruto blushed slightly after noticing.

Kano also noticed Naruto’s gaze but didn’t blame him, simply flipping over to sit on the branch.

”That’s the feeling. Did you learn it?”

”How could anyone learn that?!”

Naruto couldn’t help but retort.

”Eh? It’s easy with hands, oh, no, with feet~”

Kano even wiggled her leg, which was clad in white over-the-knee socks. Today, she wasn’t wearing the unattractive Ninja shoes but rather the pink sandals she had bought herself.

Kakashi felt like Kano was being a bit mischievous.

”Alright, I won’t tease you anymore.”

Kano flipped off the branch, was caught mid-air by Shadow Deer who jumped up, and landed smoothly. Falling from that height made the other three hold their breath, but luckily Kano was just showing off her skills.

”Concentrate Chakra on the soles of your feet, making them adhere to the tree trunk. You can do it if you can use Chakra flexibly.”

”Kano is right. Once you learn this, your precise release of Ninjutsu will consume less Chakra, making it easier to learn other Ninjutsu, theoretically speaking.

Also, it’s about maintaining Chakra training. Anyway, you won’t remember if I say too much, so let’s just start. Remember it with your body!”
