Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 20: Chapter 20 The little girl has some skill!

She held the guitar to her chest, her slightly immature, jade-like hands plucking the strings like a gentle breeze through willows, stirring the heart. Her cherry lips breathed fragrance, and her pleasant singing voice was as clear as a stream and as fragrant as cherry blossoms.

Her jade-like feet, with her shoes removed at some point, bobbed along with the song like bait dipped into water, exceptionally eye-catching.

Everyone’s mood instantly improved, and they even had more energy for the journey.

”The little girl has some skill!”

Tazuna, the ill-tempered old man, couldn’t help but praise the beauty of the song.

”This song is good; it’s very helpful for boosting morale.”

Kakashi commented from a practical combat perspective. Although Sasuke didn’t say anything, he also nodded.

”There’s another piece for boosting morale.”

Kano had only mastered five basic scores with obvious effects: the Qiaole Sheet Music, the Marching Score, the Lullaby Score, the Tear of Pearl Score, and the Requiem Music Score.

What she was playing now happened to be the Qiaole Sheet Music, which could make people feel happy, paired with Kano’s sweet singing.

Any handsome guy passing by would have to exclaim: ”Hao-ting!”

[As an Idol, you must master songs of any style. Only an all-around Idol can attract more fans and stand on various stages ?＾▽＾? So try to perform five types of scores and receive positive reviews for all (?ゝω??) (1/5)]

The good scores were one thing, but Tear of Pearl and Requiem—one being sad and the other simply stimulating the nerves—how could they possibly get positive reviews?

Kano could only silently complain about the broken mission issued by the system in her heart, but she couldn’t give up on the mission this time.

”Kano-chan! You’re still the best! I’ve decided, I will definitely protect you and never let you suffer any harm!”

”Rest assured, we’ve taken a C-rank mission, so we definitely won’t encounter a confrontation between Ninjas.”

Tazuna’s face stiffened, his eyes darted around, and cold sweat broke out.

”Who knows, maybe if we’re lucky enough to meet Ninjas from another country, we can say hello and make some friends.”

Everyone was speechless at Kano’s naivety. Meeting Ninjas from another country abroad meant they were enemies; the Ninja World was not as beautiful as imagined. Perhaps Kano would be better once she grew up a bit more.

On this point, Naruto’s thoughts were similar to Kano’s; perhaps people from other Villages wouldn’t discriminate against him.

As for Kano, she naturally had other ideas.

Kill them, extract their shadows, and we’ll be the closest of friends!

She was exceptionally gentle to her own people, but towards outsiders, Kano could naturally be ruthless.

Currently, Kano only had one Shadow Mizuki; it would be good if she could slay a few more foreign Ninjas.

However, based on Kano’s memory, it seemed only four Ninjas died. Among them were the Jonin Zabuza and the Ice Release user Haku.

Although the quantity was a bit low, the quality was quite good.

Humming a song, Kano observed the ground all the way. After noticing a puddle of water on the ground, she put away the guitar and put on her shoes.

Kakashi also noticed Kano’s reaction, but still acted as if nothing had happened, only slowly slowing his pace to reach the very back of the group.

Two Ninjas suddenly emerged from a puddle they passed. The duo cooperated with flying chains to bind Kakashi, then pulled hard, tearing him to pieces!

”The first one!”
