Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 33: Chapter 33 Hearing about Naruto’s tragic past, Inari looked up.

Kano found Inari sitting by the sea and silently sat down beside him.

”Can I sit here?”

”Aren’t you already sitting here?”

”Then I’ll take that as a yes. I’ve heard about your situation from your grandfather, including about your father. Actually, Naruto is very much like you; he lost his parents when he was young too. Moreover, he doesn’t even know who his parents were.

Actually, his parents were heroes who sacrificed themselves to save the Village. And for certain reasons, he was discriminated against and didn’t have a single friend growing up.”

Hearing about Naruto’s tragic past, Inari looked up.

”He felt wronged when he was little too, and he cried. But he had no one to vent to, so he could only endure it alone, gradually crying his tears dry.

To gain recognition from others, he works hard towards the position of Hokage, even if it means risking his life.

That’s why he’s so strong, just like your father. The words he said to you, he must have said to himself as well.”

Inari was somewhat moved; he hadn’t expected that person’s past to be so tragic, so why could he still be so optimistic?

”And that cool older brother, his name is Sasuke. He also lost his parents when he was about your age. Not only that, his entire clan was slaughtered, leaving him as the sole survivor of the whole clan.

What’s even more heartbreaking is that the murderer who slaughtered his whole clan and killed his parents with his own hands was the brother who doted on and loved him the most.

To seek revenge, he continuously grows stronger, just so he can take his revenge with his own hands.”

Inari’s tears flowed again; how could this person be even more miserable than him?

”Then there’s our team leader. His father was forced to commit suicide, so he also lost his father at a young age. Later, one of his best friends died in front of him, entrusting the person he loved to my teacher. And later, my teacher had to kill the person his best friend entrusted to him with his own hands.

The person entrusted was also my teacher’s best friend.

In fact, every one of them can understand your pain; the pain they endure is even greater than yours. Yet they aren’t bound by their pain. To prevent past painful experiences from happening again, they are also working hard, striving to go from being weak to being strong. From being protected to being heroes who protect others.”

”But...”

Inari wanted to argue, but had nothing to say.

”Don’t you want to be a hero?”

”I don’t have the power...”

”Is your grammar not very good?”

”What does this have to do with grammar?”

”Because I asked if you *want* to, but you answered that you *don’t have*!”

”I do! I want to be a hero! I want to be a hero like my father! I want to avenge my father! But I’m just weak, I have no power...”

Thinking of this, the blood that had just warmed up slowly cooled again. Kano pointed to herself.

”Look at me, I’m the weakest in our team; I can’t beat either of my two companions. But I’m the most outstanding of the three; if you don’t believe me, you can ask my teacher. The strong have the strength of the strong, and the weak have the wisdom of the weak.

Let me give you an example. Someone who can travel a thousand miles doesn’t necessarily have to be physically strong and fast; they can easily arrive as long as they know how to drive a carriage. Someone who can cross rivers and seas doesn’t necessarily have to be very good at swimming; they just need to know how to row a boat.

Just like a hunter who can’t beat a wild boar; to the boar, the hunter is weak, and to the hunter, the boar is strong. Yet the hunter can rely on weapons and traps to easily hunt the wild boar.

The weak have their own way of fighting. The weak have no resistance against the strength the strong excel in, but the weak can defeat the strong in other aspects!

As long as you’re willing to think hard, you can also become a hero as a weak person! Precisely because you are weak, you can better understand the pain of the weak, better understand the needs of the weak, and better become a hero who represents the weak!”

Listening to Kano’s words, Inari’s eyes sparkled. The fire in his heart that had died out with his father’s death was reignited and burned fiercely. He saw hope, he saw the possibility of revenge! Even as a weak person, he could do it!

”Sister, thank you! Thanks to you, I know how to become a hero! I’ll also apologize to the older brothers; I said such terrible things.

Sister, you’re so amazing, your past must have been very tragic too.”

”Me? Hahaha, both my parents are alive and well, we’re quite wealthy, and I have an older brother who’s also very outstanding. My family is harmonious and very happy; there’s no tragedy at all.”

Inari had been very grateful to Kano, but now he suddenly hated her.
