Chapter 340: Chapter 339 Elf Village is the Utopia!

Fang Zheng had to admit that the rumors of the world did have some degree of credibility.

During his travels in the Main World, Fang Zheng had more than once heard people in taverns often mentioning the Elf Clan, particularly enthusing over their beauty, figures, and that enchanting charm that mesmerized many. At the same time, these elves were known for being notoriously elusive, and often, it was simply impossible for humans to encounter them. Thus, in the whispers of rumor, elves were shrouded in an additional layer of mystery.

Among these common rumors, the most intriguing naturally revolved around the cryptic whispers about noble lords keeping Elf Slaves and the madness-inducing allure they demonstrated. Fang Zheng had once considered this nothing more than fanciful literary fabrication, akin to how the plot of a novel and real experiences could be utterly different. You wouldn’t feel the same joy as the male protagonist in the stories, nor would your female companion make those exaggerated, heart-stirring expressions and gestures.

However, now Fang Zheng had to admit that those street rumors did have some degree of credibility.

“Ah… no… can’t… It’s coming — Ahhhh!!”

Accompanied by moans, the snow-white body before Fang Zheng’s eyes suddenly trembled and tensed, and in that moment, Fang Zheng could even feel the petite body in his arms as if transforming into a greedy beast.

After a while, the Elf Maiden in his embrace seemed to lose all strength and collapsed into Fang Zheng’s arms. Then, struggling to raise her head, she looked at Fang Zheng with her large, moist eyes.

“Thank you… Knight… This is my… first time feeling this way…”

“It’s nothing, I enjoyed it too…”

Gently stroking the Elf Maiden’s hair, Fang Zheng smiled as he gazed at her. Feeling Fang Zheng’s caress, the Elf Maiden closed her eyes and fell into a deep slumber.

“Sigh…”

It was only then that Fang Zheng let out a sigh of relief.

Several days had passed since they arrived at the Elf Village. These days had been quite meaningful for both Fang Zheng and the young women. Hailien, Katie, and the young Astrologer were busy learning and assimilating the knowledge and experience imparted to them by the elves, while Fina was engaged in prayer and practice at the Natural Temple. These girls weren’t fools; though it seemed they were wasting valuable assessment time, they understood that even if they failed this year’s assessment, they could retake it next year. However, they might not get the opportunity to learn from the elves again.

Meanwhile, Fang Zheng took advantage of this time to investigate their commission during the day in the Elf Village and its surroundings— unsurprisingly, Fang Zheng and Nymph found nothing; the elves had no clue about the flash of light at the Peak of Ice and Snow mentioned in the commission. But what was stranger was that Nymph could find no trace of any anomalies in the vicinity, as if the shadow that attacked the elf patrol was just an illusion, not something that had truly existed.

At night, beautiful visitors would arrive at the treehouse where Fang Zheng resided.

Not just Molly.

In fact, the Elf Maiden currently lying in Fang Zheng’s embrace was also a victim from that patrol team. Although Fang Zheng had Little Fire Dragon use Time Retrospection to heal their physical injuries, their mental trauma had not disappeared. Hence, they decided to use this method to help themselves heal.

To tell the truth, Fang Zheng was indeed surprised at first because the rumors from the outside had given him the impression that elves were a proud race that kept to themselves and seldom interacted with other species. Their distant relatives and enemies—the Dark Elves—seemed more fitting of such rumors.

However, after several “intimate understandings” with these elves, Fang Zheng finally understood the reasons.

In fact, these elves weren’t aloof or disinterested; it was just that compared to human lifespans, the lifespan of an elf was extremely long. Thus, their emotional expression was also very calm, rarely displaying passionate, Hollywood movie-like scenes.

The main reason elves seemed indifferent and unapproachable to humans was simple—most humans couldn’t meet the elves’ standards.

This was quite understandable. It was like the ice queen of the school whom you think is aloof because you lack the means to attract her. In contrast, for an exceptionally outstanding man, the seemingly unapproachable ice queen would instantly melt into a lava of passion.

The reason these elves were willing to get intimate with Fang Zheng was also clear: First, Fang Zheng had saved their lives, and the Elf Clan held heroes in high esteem. Second, unlike ordinary mortals, Fang Zheng’s rank of charm was sufficient to win the favor of these elves, not to mention that his conduct and actions did not contradict the elves’ beliefs and tenets. Coupled with the elves’ desperate hope for a sweet encounter to forget their painful memories, it was no wonder that things had naturally progressed to the current situation.

Elves by nature are an emotionally subdued race with a low birth rate, and since they do not engage in such acts as frequently as humans, they don’t have the same moral concepts regarding intimacy as humans do. Thus, while such behavior might create certain issues in the human world, for elves, it’s not something worth fussing over.

On the contrary, because those elves who had intimate encounters with Fang Zheng seemed to truly forget the shadows of that day and successfully moved past their pain, more and more elves were becoming proactive in seeking out Fang Zheng for “life consultations” in the evenings.

Of course, this wasn’t because Fang Zheng used any Illusion Technique—he couldn’t use any Enchantment or spells from the School of Illusions to manipulate the elves’ psyche, being specialized in the Prophecy System. Instead, he simply fulfilled their requests, bringing them a blissful pleasure beyond compare.

It was simple, after all, those hideous creatures only knew how to brutally assault and vent their frustrations, bringing nothing but endless pain and fear to the elves. Not to mention that most of these elves had never engaged in such behavior before, and their bodies were as sensitive as rumors suggested. Faced with Fang Zheng’s advances and actions, they naturally had even less resistance and instead experienced a level of delight they had never known before.

And for Fang Zheng, it certainly was an endlessly memorable “reward.”

It was a win-win situation.

There were times when Fang Zheng thought about staying here and not leaving. But that was just a fleeting thought—setting aside their ongoing mission objectives, the little ones in his Heavenly Dao Palace would certainly never agree. If Tilia and Black Katie found out, they’d probably come and flatten the Elf Village without a second word.

Even though it’s said that the arms of a woman are the graves of heroes, which hero doesn’t love a beautiful woman?

So there’s a saying in a song lyric that goes, “Heroes love beauty even more than power, which hero would choose to be alone…”

This shows that heroes don’t want to be single.

Unfortunately, what needs to be done still has to be done. After successfully concluding “life consultations” with the last elf maiden, Fang Zheng immediately notified his teammates to prepare for departure. It was only at this moment that everyone remembered… they had not come to the Elf Village solely to inherit knowledge and teachings of the elves.

“Can’t we really stay a few more days?”

Clinging to the Star Map in her hands, the Astrologer looked at Fang Zheng with a pitiful expression, pleading.

“Just give me a little more time, just a little bit more, at least let me finish observing the Pegasus constellation’s orbit…”

“How long would that take?”

“Half a month…”

“………”

Obviously, that was not possible.

However, as the girls struggled with their heavy hearts, the elves who had heard that Fang Zheng and his party were planning to leave suggested an alternative. They could send a companion to guide them to the Peak of Ice and Snow. With an elf present, it would also be easier to deal with the stubborn dwarves, and along the way, she could continue to help the young women become familiar with the knowledge and teachings they had learned.

Fang Zheng had no reason to refuse and naturally nodded in agreement.

However, just before setting off, Fang Zheng still encountered a minor issue.

It was that the elf who was to escort them, was none other than Molly—who had “consulted” life with him.
