Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 445: Chapter 366: Litten Mount

Lei Gong was ”dead set” on not revealing the source of the intelligence.

But he was very certain about Rocket Team’s next target being Meteor Falls.

Why?

The Rocket Team base had just been taken down two days ago, and they’ve already regrouped this quickly to target a new location?

Quite curious indeed.

Moreover, there should have been quite a number of Rocket Team members in that previous base. Having the entire base wiped out should count as a significant loss for them, right?

Especially since they had already revealed manpower issues towards the end of the No Mark Chapter...

Could it be that these issues got resolved in the subsequent Chapters?

Baimu was completely in the dark about the current state of this villain organization that had been a mere backdrop since the Black and White Chapter.

Hopefully, those captured Rocket Team members will divulge some important information.

Baimu noticed Da Wu making several serious phone calls. He wanted to eavesdrop but eventually thought it would be impolite and gave up.

After a while.

Da Wu put down his phone.

”We haven’t found any sign of Rocket Team’s presence for now... it seems things are far more complicated than anticipated.”

He looked at Lei Gong, ”Though I personally trust your judgment, without solid evidence, it’s not realistic to gather a large number of people to search around Meteor Falls.”

”Roar~”

Lei Gong never intended to rely on human strength anyway, and hearing what Da Wu said, he just indifferently turned his head and went into the house, settling down on a carpeted spot.

Having searched for almost a whole night without any success, feeling a bit exhausted, it made its way to Baimu’s resting spot under some emotional guidance.

Who would have thought to encounter the champion of the Hoenn Region?

”...Does Lei Gong dislike me?” Da Wu asked Baimu with some doubt.

Why does it feel a little like being disliked?

The latter shook his head, ”No, that’s just its personality, and it’s already very respectful to you, at least it responds to you. Usually, it doesn’t even acknowledge me.”

Da Wu: ”...”

How do you guys usually interact?

His eyes were filled with confusion.

”Well, isn’t Meteor Falls the domain of the Meteor People? Why not seek help from them?” Baimu changed the topic, not wanting to discuss being ”coldly treated” by Lei Gong.

Da Wu blinked and asked in return, ”Didn’t you already make contact with that Meteor person named Xijana? Didn’t she tell you anything about the situation of the Meteor People?”

”Uh... so far I know very little.”

”Alright, I didn’t expect that as a descendant of the Meteor People, you’d need an outsider like me to tell you about your homeland.”

He organized his words and said, ”Over a decade ago, the reclusive Meteor People lived deep within Meteor Falls—a place called Meteor Village, where many powerful Dragon-type Pokémon existed, making it a perfect training ground for Dragon Tamers.

”But as times changed, the village elders witnessed the rapid development outside and decided to move the village out from Meteor Village, building a new settlement in the forest near Meteor Falls and encouraged the young people to explore the world instead of shutting themselves in.”

”The village built outside?”

Baimu was momentarily stunned, then quickly opened his phone to search the map, and saw a small mark named Meteor Village very close to Meteor Falls.

To be honest.

He had seen this village when searching for terms related to the Meteor People before. However, due to the limited information available online and the subconscious belief that the Meteor People lived within Meteor Falls, he hadn’t paid much attention.

Who would have thought it was built by the Meteor People after moving out from Meteor Falls.

”Yes, precisely because of this decision by the Dragon Elder, most of the young adult Dragon Tamers in the village have already left, so even if you go to them, they probably can’t offer much help. Meteor Falls is not small, and its environment is extremely complex.”

Da Wu nodded, ”Of course, it’s necessary to at least inform them of the situation—this task is up to you then, since you’ve already come to Fallarbor Town, why not visit Meteor Village?”

”Um...”

Baimu pondered for two seconds, then nodded, ”I should.”

Although he still finds it hard to believe that a fake wooden plaque could escalate to this point, actions speak louder than words, and his identity as a descendant of Dragon Tamers has been established, both emotionally and logically, he should go take a look.

It’s not like a group of people suddenly showed up demanding he contribute to Meteor Village; currently, he needs the Meteor People to obtain the Key Stone.

Da Wu showed a slight smile, ”Looks like you’re not rejecting your bloodline connection, that’s a good thing.”

After enduring hardships for more than a decade, suddenly being told by a group of people that you’re something you never knew, and being given a completely inexplicable identity, it’s not easy to accept, even from his perspective.

Thankfully, Baimu’s mental maturity is something Da Wu greatly appreciates about him.

”Too bad your goal is to become the Ore Champion, otherwise I’d love to recommend you to take over Mr. Genji’s place.” He suddenly said.

Baimu didn’t immediately understand why Da Wu said that, then jokingly replied, ”Why can’t it be to take your place?”

”Oh! Are you interested?”

Da Wu’s eyes lit up, ”Then why not challenge the Hoenn Champion Alliance, I’m sure with your strength you’d definitely win at the Ever Grande Conference, and Mikoli will surely be very pleased to see you—”

”I was just joking! Just joking!”

Baimu hurriedly waved his hands, apologizing with a pained expression for his previous impertinent remark.
