Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 422: Chapter 358: The Final Quasi-God (3-in-1 Mega Chapter)

No, that’s not right.

You can’t rely on gambling to win a Pokémon battle.

”Slugma has lost the ability to battle, Zweilous wins!”

Hearing her grandfather Mura’s voice, Yasha shook her head, withdrew Slugma, and looked at Baimu in the distance, asking, ”Why did you command Zweilous so decisively just now? Did you guess that it wouldn’t be defeated?”

”No, I heard it.”

The latter gave her an unexpected answer.

”Heard...”

”Yes, for me, as long as they haven’t fallen, as long as there’s a glimmer of strength left, they’ll keep shouting loudly, waiting for my response.”

Baimu said with a smile, ”It was no exception just now. The Zweilous in the field told me that victory is within reach. The moment of transformation has arrived.”

”Transformation!”

Yasha was shaken, and as her gaze shifted to Zweilous, two sky-piercing roars suddenly resounded beside her ears.

”Hey oo—!!” ”Hey oo—!!”

In the field.

Under the gaze of the three, the Zweilous, whose mental state and energy had jointly reached a critical point, was enveloped in a dazzling azure light, countless fireflies swirling around it, triggering an astonishing transformation!

Then they saw.

The two separate heads of Zweilous began fusing at the base, gradually becoming one, with facial hair growing rapidly and curling upward, revealing a pair of scarlet eyes.

The front paws slowly lifted, and two new heads quickly sprouted from the top, the body slowly floated up, the short tail quickly lengthening, and the hind legs rapidly regressing into two tufts of hair.

The previously solitary pair of wings on its back split into three pairs, flapping rhythmically with its up and down motion.

At the moment when the transformation was complete.

The light exploded like fireworks, scattering all over Hydreigon’s body, shining brightly like celebratory fireworks.

”Shaa roar!!”

A deep roar vibrated through the air, reaching the ears of the three.

The evolution was successful!

After numerous twists and turns, the Hydreigon, which matured late, finally reached its complete form!

A huge, explosive energy surged inside, and in its ecstatic state, it urgently needed a battle to test just how terrifying its new power was.

The intense confidence made Hydreigon roar uncontrollably at Yasha.

”Sha—”

The roar wasn’t finished.

Because it felt a burning gaze coming from behind, it turned slightly and immediately saw the trainer smiling at it.

Besides joy, that smile also harbored some other kind of meaning...

The Hydreigon, not yet overwhelmed by its power, discreetly flew back a little distance, signaling to the trainer that it was clear-headed.

Then.

A ray of red light absorbed it into the Pokeball.

Yasha, still immersed in Hydreigon’s evolution, was stunned, ”You switched it out?”

”Yes, most Pokémon cannot correctly grasp their strength after evolution, and forcing them to continue fighting often leads to relying on brute force. Unless necessary, I prefer to switch—let’s continue the battle, Hall Master Yasha.”

Baimu stepped forward to release a Pokémon.

Bam!

White light flickered.

The long-waiting Blissey entered the field.

On the referee’s seat.

Mura’s admiration for Baimu was almost unconcealed. Exceptional individuals always excel in various aspects, and the fact that he didn’t force the newly evolved Pokémon hit the spot for him.

Throughout his decades as a Hall Master, challengers whose Pokémon evolved during or after battles were numerous. Regardless of whether switch options existed, most challengers would be affected by the strong confidence brought by a Pokémon’s evolution and allow the newly evolved Pokémon to continue fighting.

Of course.

There were not a few who won with this confidence, but actually, more lost, for the reason Baimu mentioned—relying on brute force to fight.

Evolution represents a new body. Unless the form before and after evolution remains roughly consistent, Pokémon certainly need time to adapt.

Under such a premise, there are many Pokémon that can quickly grasp it, but even more that cannot.

Therefore, Mura agreed more with Baimu’s approach, opting to switch out newly evolved Pokémon unless absolutely necessary, which also demonstrated respect for Gym challenges.

But compared to her grandfather.

Yasha felt somewhat disappointed. She had never battled a Pokémon like Hydreigon before and was curious about it, but unfortunately, Baimu chose a more cautious battle method.

”Go! Mage!”

She understood that the Gym challenge had to continue, so she switched in the Magcargo that had been roared off the field earlier.

”Telekinesis!”

Baimu gave the first command.

Blissey raised its small hand, its eyes covered with blue light, and the invisible spiritual power quickly spread out, capturing Magcargo’s body and forcibly levitating it from the ground.

Yasha frowned slightly, shouting, ”Smoke Spray!”

A large amount of fiery smoke gushed out from Magcargo’s shell, quickly spreading toward Blissey, trying to obscure the line of sight between it and Baimu while causing damage.

But the latter wasn’t afraid of this move at all.

”Strong Mental Will!”

”Happy!”

The blue light in Blissey’s eyes intensified, its invisible big hands stirring the air, pushing the spreading fiery smoke aside from both directions, revealing a broad path for a direct line of sight to Magcargo.

A transparent wall of light appeared, blocking the spiritually invisible parts from outside, but the remaining part still dealt a significant mental blow!

”Magu!”

Magcargo groaned.

The extraordinarily stable Spiritual Power of Blissey shook Yasha’s heart.

”Such strong spiritual power!”

When attribute energy meets attribute energy, it usually explodes like a bomb. Making it disperse fiery smoke so stably is not a simple task.
