Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 436: Chapter 363: Seven Nights of Wishing (Triple Combo Chapter) (Part 2)

Combining diligence and laziness, truly fitting for Baimu’s quirky little Pokémon... oh~

Lei Gong suddenly felt a delightful itch on its back, as if a brush had hit a particularly itchy spot, making its hind leg twitch uncontrollably, wanting to scratch.

And after that delightful feeling, other parts inexplicably started to itch.

It felt a little uncomfortable and couldn’t help but want to change its position.

But the next second.

A large hand scratched those itchy spots, using just the right amount of force to quickly soothe it, moving from one spot to another.

Finally landing on the chin.

Lei Gong’s movements instantly became stiff, turning to meet Baimu’s innocent gaze.

”Aren’t you itchy? You look itchy, your tail is twitching all over the place,” the latter said, raising his hand in a surrendering gesture.

Only then did it realize that its tail was swinging like electric light, hitting uncomfortable spots all over its body, and it hadn’t even noticed!

Lei Gong: ”!”

How can you move around like that!

Lei Gong’s tail: ”!”

I don’t know!

Seeing this antics, Baimu could hardly stop laughing in his heart, indeed a cat’s tail and the cat’s body are two different species!

He silently placed his hand on Lei Gong’s chin and started scratching.

While scratching, he started a countdown to death in his mind.

Am I going to get shocked?

Shocked?

No shock!

Baimu’s hands kept moving, sneakily observing Lei Gong’s face, surprisingly realizing he didn’t get shocked, and the big cat seemed to approve of his actions!

This made him involuntarily excited, feeling like he was one step closer to fully conquering all of Lei Gong’s body parts!

The day to bury his face in that furry belly wasn’t far away!

In a rather cheerful mood, Baimu hummed a tune and picked Lei Gong’s fur off the comb.

He thought legendary Pokémon wouldn’t shed, but it seems he overthought it, they still shed as they should...

Why not collect them and make a small Lei Gong to give to this guy on their farewell day?

Baimu felt it was somewhat feasible, humming more rhythmically.

Recently, he’s been dreaming of being a musician every day, practicing guitar to the point of nausea, starting his dream like listening to a playlist he heard a thousand times, going over familiar tunes repeatedly.

But so far, he hasn’t actually gotten a guitar, and didn’t find a guitar shop while strolling around earlier.

What a pity.

——

More than half an hour later.

The tram stopped at the top of Chimney Mountain.

This rather small place was much busier than expected, with various trainers carrying Pokémon coming and going, and various stalls set up by small vendors.

Obviously, many people came up via the Jagged Pass, not opting for the tram that required payment.

If it weren’t for the large goal, and not finding a road to push his cart up, Baimu would actually choose to walk the Jagged Pass; with his speed, climbing to the top surely would be faster than the tram.

He pushed the cart with Lei Gong onboard off, planning to bypass the crowd and head to the northern tram station of Chimney Mountain.

Upon reaching the northern foothill location.

Quickly pass through the Flame Path, and Fallarbor Town isn’t far away.

If not for many incidents along the way, such as encountering some Pokémon Aid Association or provoking a Slugma on the Flame Path leading to a frantic chase, Ash Ketchum and his group wouldn’t take so long.

”Don’t miss it as you pass by! Betting stones, betting stones! You can even bet on falling meteors! Anyone who likes meteorites or rare stones, come have a look—”

A voice rang out not far away.

Baimu had no intention of joining such a bustle, but Lei Gong extended its tail from under the black cloth, releasing a current to zap his foot.

”Hiss! What are you doing!?”

He glared at the cart, knowing the latter could surely see him through the black cloth layer.

Going further.

He got zapped once more.

Baimu lowered his head, discovering Lei Gong’s tail faintly pointing in the direction of the voice, so he looked that way thoughtfully—

The speaker was a somewhat sleazy-looking, buck-toothed middle-aged man, accompanied by a black-haired Spoink with a pink pearl on its head, surrounded by various sized stones.

Many stones were pockmarked, resembling the surface of the moon.

[Iron Swindler]!

Seeing the man’s hustling, the surrounding vendors exhibited expressions of waiting to see who would fall victim, indicating that what he was selling was likely roadside goods.

Purely roadside picked goods.

Like Uncle Magikarp, grab whatever prey you can?

However, why did Lei Gong call him here? Could it be that among those randomly picked roadside stones were some good finds?

Baimu had great trust in the big cat, plus even if Lei Gong was wrong, it didn’t matter, he wasn’t lacking those two or three ten-thousands, and Lei Gong might feel guilty after being conned...

Hmm?

Why does it feel like he’s courting a girl?

He was startled by this thought, but then realized that befriending a Pokémon with increasing favorability is indeed kind of like dating, just with a different type of desire—

The desire to touch something fluffy.

Baimu pushed the cart idly while thinking nonsense, arriving in front of the stall.

The buck-toothed middle-aged man’s eyes lit up, and a large sigh swept through the surroundings, as if lamenting another fish caught on the hook.

”Hehehe, what great taste you have, young man! Come and look at the stones I have here! They’re 100% pure extraterrestrial meteorites, and let me tell you, each meteorite holds powers enough to change the Pokémon World!”

The man boldly lied with open eyes, grabbing a stone from the ground, ”See this one? You know about Deoxys, which was very popular a few years ago? Experts proved they rode meteorites to descend onto the Hoenn Continent! It’s a Pokémon capable of battling Rayquaza! So you understand, right?”
