Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 408: Chapter 353: Traveling with Lei Gong

”When it rains, it pours...”

Baimu walked into the cave, took off his already soaked cloak, and was about to chat with Blissey when he noticed several pairs of bright eyes staring at him. It turned out to be the Electric Attribute Pokémon whose power had been drained by the Crystal System. ”Hmm? Why are you all awake?”

They huddled near the brightly eyed Lei Gong, looking at him with curiosity and fear.

Outside the cave.

The rain poured endlessly.

But there was neither thunder nor lightning.

Just when it started raining, he suddenly remembered some Wild Pokémon trapped in a net, so he hurriedly jumped onto the robot to rescue those poor creatures.

To prevent them from getting sick from the rain.

Luckily, his luck wasn’t too bad. Though there were many of them, the robot was more agile than a mountain bike.

”It’s a shame to leave such a good thing behind.”

He regretfully watched the slow-moving robot walk inside. This thing was big and sturdy, equipped with black technology, but he had no choice but to hand it over to Miss Jun Sha.

Then he shouted to the four people getting drenched outside, ”If you can’t hold on, let me know. Although, it’s not like I’ll actually let you in.”

The four Pokémon Hunters were silently cursing but didn’t dare to say much openly, quietly enduring the rain.

Because they were mortally afraid of Baimu. Even if their bodies were still intact, if they upset him, it wouldn’t end with just the rain.

”Tough guys!”

Baimu gave them a thumbs up.

Suddenly.

”Roar—”

Lei Gong’s low growl echoed in his ears.

Baimu glanced inside the cave to find Blissey twisting Lei Gong’s face, trying to prevent it from licking its wounds. Finding it hard to exert force from the awkward position, it even reached for Lei Gong’s teeth—

No,

It’s already grabbing them!

”...”

What the heck! You’re so reckless!

He looked at Lei Gong’s face, filled with helpless black lines, and silently apologized in his heart, deciding not to interfere with Blissey’s actions since the patient itself had already accepted it.

However, he didn’t intervene, but Lei Gong couldn’t help but growl at him.

”Roar!”

This Pokémon is yours, right? Can’t you do something about it?

Even though Baimu couldn’t understand Pokémon language, he could get the disgruntled tone. He slowly moved over, pretending not to notice Lei Gong’s discontented gaze, and stroked its fur.

The texture was rougher than expected, possibly due to the coarse hair that hadn’t been groomed much.

However, the rain cloud-like purple fur on its back was super soft. The fur on its face might be softer, but he didn’t dare touch it, feeling Lei Gong might snap at him.

Even knowing he meant no harm.

After all, it’s a dignified big cat.

As he petted it, he said: ”You’re an injured Pokémon now. Blissey is a professional, just trust its process, and you’ll recover soon. Don’t worry.”

Lei Gong gave Baimu’s increasing haphazard petting a sidelong glance, ”Roar...”

Are all Trainer and Pokémon pairs like you this shameless?

One twists teeth, and the other fondles fur?

Truly, Pokémon match their Trainers.

Fine.

Touching me a couple of times is whatever.

Lei Gong’s emotions were in turmoil. Its lightning-fast tail swayed aimlessly, not because it was small-minded enough to get angry over a few touches, but it should be used to this by now.

Who says a downcast tiger is ever as good as a cat.

Lei Gong closed its eyes, simply lowering its head to sleep, avoiding seeing and feeling bothered.

But to others, its attitude seemed like it was angry enough to faint.

Baimu sheepishly withdrew his hand, feeling a little embarrassed, thinking his desire to pet had exposed itself too quickly. His gaze shifted to the other Electric Attribute Pokémon huddled around Lei Gong.

Magneton, Electrode, Electrike, Manectric, Plusle, and Minun—the first few aside, Plusle and Minun were genuinely adorable.

Seeing them clutching their bellies and shivering, exhibiting a cold and hungry demeanor, he pondered for a moment.

”How about we cook some food? We’re idle anyway.”

Baimu said to Blissey as he pulled out a portable stove from his backpack.

”Happy~”

Blissey nodded; it had wanted to do this for a while, but didn’t start without the Trainer’s presence.

In fact, if Porygon could fully understand and control the Crystal System, it might have been able to transfer the stored electricity back to Lei Gong to replenish its state.

Sadly, the program lacked an electricity feedback function, so Porygon couldn’t return the power.

Lei Gong tried itself—

Couldn’t absorb it.

It had a psychological shadow over this gadget. After two tries, it didn’t dare keep trying, wanting to smash it with a paw, but Baimu, fearing it might mutate, stopped it.

Lei Gong looked at him, thinking it made sense, so it gave up.

It had always struggled with peculiar human technology, previously making a blunder by absorbing power from a high-voltage tower and being chased by Officer Jenny on a motorcycle.

After that, it wouldn’t approach anymore.

Meanwhile, Baimu pulled out lots of ingredients from his bag, and in Blissey’s hands, they became neatly prepared materials ready to use.

Before long.

The fragrance of food filled the cave.

A crowd of drooling Pokémon gathered around the bubbling boiler, especially Plusle and Minun, their eyes sparkling like stars, ears twitching incessantly.

”Pulla~”

”Minya~”

The two rabbit-like adorable creatures leaned on either side of Baimu, clutching his sleeves and shaking them vigorously.

The aroma had ensnared them, body and soul.

The other Electric Attribute Pokémon also formed a group, with Electrike and Manectric sitting on the ground, their bent, lightning rod-like tails wagging wildly, drool streaming from their mouths,
