Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 418: Chapter 357: The Battle of Fiery Furnace

Lei Gong really didn’t want to talk.

Baimu couldn’t force that big mouth to say anything human, so he could only look at it with regret and disappointment.

”Sigh...”

He sighed and walked away in melancholy.

Lei Gong: ”...”

This Little Ghost is putting on an act, making me feel guilty for nothing.

But there are some things that don’t need to involve him, no matter what, I won’t tell... Besides, even if I wanted to, I couldn’t explain it to this Little Ghost since I can’t speak human language.

After all, he has his own goals to accomplish, and getting involved with those bad guys is not a good idea.

Lei Gong yawned again, these hot springs are really...

The more you soak, the sleepier you get.

Outside the door.

Baimu, who had been eavesdropping for a while, let out a sigh.

This time it’s for real; he realized that the Ho-oh Guard indeed, under most circumstances, prefers to act independently and never seeks help from any humans.

When major events occur, at most, they team up with the other two companions to face them together.

Most scenarios of collaborating with humans are initiated by the humans themselves—in the anime background, during special episodes, it shows them going around hitting Gym Leaders to seek collaborators.

Speaking of which, since it’s so badly hurt this time, why haven’t Suicune and Entei shown up?

Or maybe they have, just that they’re operating in other places in the Hoenn region, and I just haven’t seen them?

Hmm.

This possibility isn’t low.

Baimu greatly suspects that Lei Gong came to the Hoenn region specifically because of Rocket Team’s setup here. After previously being badly messed up by Rocket Team’s Crystal System, not seizing back the upper hand wouldn’t be right.

In the end, he accidentally fell into the pit of Rocket Team’s black technology again.

Thinking like this suddenly makes more sense.

”Let’s go shopping, we’ve been in Lavaridge Town for so long and I haven’t even been to the market.” He stretched lazily, intending to pass the waiting morning by shopping with Blissey.

Every town has its own characteristics.

Apart from being famous for its hot springs, Lavaridge Town also has a series of byproducts brought by these hot springs.

Such as sand baths, hot spring buns, and hot spring milk.

Anything associated with hot springs is a famous product here.

Of course.

There’s also the renowned Lavaridge Immortal Shell; Baimu buys this the most because those provided by the hotel aren’t enough to satisfy him and Aggron.

Even Lei Gong, who pretends not to care, showed he wanted more after eating two pieces, but upon seeing Baimu’s ”beg me and I’ll give you” look, it decisively turned back to soak in the pool.

This made him have to split and feed them to Zweilous.

Unexpectedly,

the herbal medicine here is also quite famous.

Perhaps influenced by the hot springs’ aiding in healing, there is even a street dedicated to herbal medicine selling all sorts of herbs, not just Primordial Root and Revival Herb.

As Baimu and Blissey passed by, the latter’s face wrinkled from the weird smells in the air, only to realize as Baimu explained that the smell came from the various herbs, which piqued its curiosity.

It’s not its first time encountering herbal materials, often using them in essence making, but since it rarely uses dried herbs or the mixing and boiling stages, it’s not very knowledgeable about them—

but very interested.

Since it’s related to treatment methods, Blissey always wants to grasp all important information related to healing. Despite the bitterness and odd smells of herbal medicine, it might come in handy?

Although Blissey wasn’t very articulate, it felt that some things being popular made sense.

But when expressing its desires, it wasn’t very decisive, not wanting to make the Trainer go out of the way for it, yet reluctantly lingering.

Leading to a pace of constant looking back while walking.

Helpless, Baimu pretended not to notice and asked, ”Shall we go in and take a look?”

”Happy!”

A joyfully enthusiastic Blissey nodded its head and ended up buying a pile of strange herbs, upon hearing the Trainer say that they could be used to make porridge, both fragrant and nourishing.

It couldn’t help but be curious.

Herbs can be made into essence, into medicine... can they also be eaten as food?

By noon,

Baimu used practical actions to clear its doubts, letting Blissey taste the incredibly wonderful herbal porridge.

Today his cooking skills have become more exquisite, no longer limited to just stir-frying, other dishes also gradually began to show signs of ”glow.”

All thanks to all kinds of gourmet cooking videos shared online by chefs.

And taking advantage of the time Lei Gong left the bath to eat, Baimu once again raised questions, only to be met with silence again.

”Sigh... it seems this mouth is destined not to open.”

He sighed and looked at the three Pokémon preparing for the afternoon match, ”Since there’s a battle in the afternoon, we shouldn’t eat too much for lunch, let’s eat more when we get back.”

”Happy~”

”Pary~”

Neither Blissey nor Porygon objected; the former obeyed while the latter didn’t need to eat.

Only Zweilous had to act coquettish for a bit before agreeing since the Trainer had been focusing on that big one that couldn’t be scented, though it wasn’t actually neglected, a tiny bit of jealousy was inevitable.

Besides,

the afternoon was going to be its important moment.

Feeling the explosive power within, Zweilous was confident and eagerly anticipated using a win to greet its brand-new self.

Stepping closer to being a trump card!

After acting coquettishly, Zweilous couldn’t help but give Aggron a provocative look.

”Hey woo!” ”Hey woo!”

Did you see that?

The murderous, battle-hungry look in my eyes?
