Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 426: Chapter 360: Foul Odor Dragon_2

Aggron is fine, having already passed the phase of obsessive territorial desire—its nature is generally very generous, and it doesn’t really hold grudges.

Mawile, on the other hand, appeared much more serious.

It strongly demanded that Baimu properly train this fellow to prevent Hydreigon from being spoiled and taking an inch after being given a mile in the future.

”Chido!”

”I understand, I understand. Rest assured, if no one else trusts you, I surely do,” Baimu consoled.

”Chido?”

”Of course, it’s true.”

Faced with its Trainer’s sweet words, Mawile decided to believe him for the time being.

Blissey, however, was more concerned about the Trainer’s condition than those meaningless things, worried if he was hurt earlier and if he needed to go to the hospital for a check-up or something.

”I’m not made of paper, no need to make such a fuss~”

Baimu smiled, reassuring it, and headed to the bedside in search of the Galarian Corsola.

This guy showed no reaction throughout the entire incident.

Having not seen Hydreigon in trouble, it just wanted to bury its head and go back to sleep. Of course, there might be a bit of resentment, but not much; it mainly just wanted to watch the fun.

Being a bystander is a small pleasure in its laid-back life.

”Alright then.”

After several attempts at conversation with no response, Baimu decided not to disturb this guy further and finally glanced at the Feebas in the tank.

Perhaps due to its Oblivious trait, it seemed a bit befuddled, and even by the end, it hadn’t reacted, choosing to communicate with its Trainer by blowing bubbles.

”Not bad.”

He nodded.

To help Feebas evolve through beauty, he specifically looked up information online and found that most Milotic Trainers emphasized the importance of cultivating Feebas’s confidence.

It’s not about forcing it to believe it’s beautiful, but rather having the confidence to recognize its own shortcomings and strive towards becoming a better version of itself.

Supplying it with blue or rainbow-colored Poké Blocks can accelerate Feebas’s growth.

Baimu had been feeding it rainbow-colored Poké Blocks for over half a month now, but Feebas’s confidence was not yet fully developed, so it was necessary for it to engage in more battles and hone its skills.

As for the Gorgeous Competition.

If possible, letting it participate would be a good choice too.

”I anticipate your future,” Baimu said as he reached into the water, stroking Feebas’s smooth, cold fins.

Feeling the warmth in the Trainer’s voice and the undisguised admiration in his gaze, Feebas happily swished its tail and blew bubbles at him.

The more warmth it felt now, the more worthless and fearful its lonely past seemed by comparison.

If only I had met the Trainer earlier, Feebas thought more than once. As for its previous Trainer—the little boy—within just a month, it had completely forgotten what he looked like.

Feebas also barely remembered its Breeder, knowing only that she was female.

Having successfully communicated with the other Pokémon,

Baimu stretched his shoulders.

”So next... there’s only one thing left to do.” He took a rather strangely shaped toothbrush from the bathroom.

Hydreigon, who had been following him like a shadow, saw it and its wings froze.

”Shaa...”

”Don’t run; if you run, I’ll pin you down.” Baimu said with a smile watching Hydreigon.

Question:

When does Hydreigon hate its Trainer the most?

Answer:

Never hates the Trainer! Only hates the toothbrush!

Good Baimu, bad toothbrush!

”Shasha...” Hydreigon hovered in place, with its central head leaning back as disdainfully as it could manage.

Unfortunately, Baimu was determined to brush its stinky mouth.

Earlier, catching his breath had been a small problem, but the stench from this guy’s mouth almost made him choke.

”Open your mouth!”

”Shashaa—”

”Three!”

”Mmph...”

Reluctantly, Hydreigon bit the toothbrush, and the two made their way to the shower room near the hot spring for tooth brushing.

”How can your mouth be so stinky? I haven’t been feeding you anything particularly strong-flavored, could it be that Dragon Attribute foods cause bad breath?”

He examined Hydreigon’s teeth.

The causes of bad breath were varied, and as long as there wasn’t any health issue, it must be the food.

Every Pokémon’s food was based on glowing recipes, each with many additional supplements suited to their Attribute, like the iron ingots that Aggron regularly consumed.

”Mmh?”

”Just a little more.”

”Mmh?”

”I already said just a little more,” Baimu replied, brushing vigorously over its sharp teeth, while the latter would ask every two seconds if it was done, annoyingly.

Finally finished.

He sniffed and was barely satisfied, ”But I still need to think of another solution; letting it stay stinky like this isn’t going to work.”

The liberated Hydreigon darted into the hot spring, trying to get as far from the toothbrush as possible.

Baimu briefly washed up, then slipped into the hot spring, taking out his phone to check the Illustrated Guide for Hydreigon’s newly learned moves. Most Pokémon learn one or two new moves upon evolving.

This guy was no exception. It had learned Giant Sound and Shattering Bite upon evolving into Zweilous.

But compared to last time,

The newly learned moves this time were much more exaggerated.

”Trick... Inverted Scale... wow! Hit the jackpot!”

He inhaled sharply, completely surprised by the pleasant surprise Hydreigon had brought him. Putting Inverted Scale aside—Trick—this is a super-amplifying move on par with Sword Dance.

It perfectly suited the role he had designed for Hydreigon as a special attack battery. If Zweilous had known this move, there wouldn’t have been a need to force a switch with a roar and face off against Magcargo with Dragon Dive and Slugma’s Overheating.
