Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 432: Chapter 362: The Cat-Petting Plan

Baimu didn’t sleep well, spending the first half of the night thinking about how to trick... persuade Lei Gong to continue traveling together.

In the name of encountering the Rocket Team in the future?

To be honest.

He felt that he would definitely run into those guys in the future, even if he hasn’t directly met them so far. Just based on them continuing the Super Evolution thing, it’s only a matter of time before they cross paths.

The Hoenn Region isn’t exactly small, but it’s not extraordinarily large either.

Come to think of it, he hasn’t asked for Lei Gong’s thoughts so far. Because there’s always a feeling that if he asks, it will pierce the veil, leading to a change in what was originally assumed.

But thinking it over, keeping it bottled up isn’t a solution either.

Pick an opportunity to ask it, he thought.

Baimu turned around to look at Lei Gong, sleeping by the bedside. Whenever this guy’s body moved slightly, his heart would skip a beat. He always felt that if he looked away for a moment, this guy would silently disappear.

Of course, this was definitely his illusion.

And his behavior at this moment was noticed by the other Pokémon around. On one hand, they felt a bit envious; on the other, they also didn’t want Lei Gong to leave.

Ordinary Pokémon naturally possess a sense of reverence towards Legendary Pokémon. Under normal circumstances, unless ordered by their Trainer, most ordinary Pokémon neither attack them nor feel much malice towards them.

Moreover, they’ve actually already considered Lei Gong as one of their own, even if they rarely communicate... But is that an important thing?

The Galarian Corsola didn’t communicate much with them either, yet none failed to acknowledge it.

So at this moment, the Pokémon who were still awake inevitably watched Lei Gong quietly, just like their Trainer.

Lei Gong: ”...”

These guys must be out of their minds.

Why aren’t they sleeping at night? Do they think I can’t feel it?

Lei Gong’s gaze suddenly swept over Baimu and all the Pokémon, seeing them hurriedly look away and pretend to be asleep, feeling somewhat speechless and boredly using his paw to scratch the fur on his face.

It rarely performed such a ”frivolous” action in front of others because, since a very early time, whenever it did so, the surrounding humans seemed very shocked. The other two companions also expressed that it was best to maintain a mysterious aura.

But having been together for so long, it couldn’t be bothered to pretend anymore.

Otherwise, what should it do? When its face itches, it has to scratch, and if its paws or body get dusty, it needs to wash or lick them. Hiding it would actually draw Baimu’s attention, so it might as well be straightforward about it.

Lei Gong closed its eyes and went back to sleep, not wanting to deal with these guys.

Before long, the Pokémon, who were all on a fairly standard biological clock, quickly fell asleep, and Baimu, after holding on for a bit, realized that Lei Gong probably wasn’t planning to leave after he fell asleep, so he too slowly closed his eyes.

A dreamless night.

Next morning, just as dawn was breaking.

Lying on his side, Baimu quickly opened his eyes and looked towards the bedside, sighing with relief upon seeing that Lei Gong hadn’t disappeared.

No matter how you put it, the fact that it hadn’t left overnight showed that it wasn’t in a hurry to go.

He turned over and then saw Hydreigon floating above the bed as imagined, its large head hanging low facing his, with its two other mouths aimed at his hands, drooling long strands of saliva, nearly touching his face.

Gross!

”...”

Baimu dared not move recklessly, reaching out to pat the Galarian Corsola on the bedside, ”Help me get some tissues.”

No response.

”If you don’t help, I’ll use you to wipe it!”

A few napkins were thrown over by a semi-transparent, smoky tendril.

He cautiously retracted his right hand, carefully catching the drool that had been hanging down, finally breathing a sigh of relief, and sat up, ”That was close... why is the saliva so sticky?”

Baimu didn’t dare to smell it further, quickly tossing it into the trash and headed to the bathroom with the just-awakened Blissey.

Hydreigon drowsily opened its eyes, following its memory to head to the bathroom, but ended up bumping into a glass door. Just as it was about to whimper and act pitifully, it suddenly realized it had taken the wrong direction and had bumped into the terrace’s floor-to-ceiling window.

It hurriedly turned around and flew towards the bathroom.

”...”

Still not fully awake, having witnessed Hydreigon foolishly bump into the glass, Lei Gong didn’t know what expression to show.

”Chidor~”

Mawile passed by holding a doll, coolly telling Lei Gong not to mind it.

Fools are always like that.

After that.

The bathroom quickly became noisy, followed by unknown roaring, and soon the bathroom door flew open, with Hydreigon trying to burst out, only to be dragged back in by a pair of large and small hands clutching its wings.

Scolding followed.

”Open your mouth! Show your teeth! You just brushed your teeth yesterday afternoon, and they’re already this stinky! You’re going to see the dentist!”

”Shaa—Wuuu—”

The deep wailing was clearly audible.

Mawile sat on the sofa, sipping a cup of black tea, feeling that life was so wonderful. Aggron was moving the fish tank, taking Feebas for a water change.

Although Feebas could survive even in dirty ditches, Baimu wasn’t about to mistreat its Pokémon like that.

Not to mention that changing the water daily was a common practice.

Porygon was the latest to wake up. It hadn’t participated in the Gym Battle yesterday but had fought the most street battles, so it was a bit more exhausted, not to mention staying up a bit late.

It groggily floated and began flying to other places, not having decided where to go, when it felt a weight on its back.

”Pa~ly?”

”Zzz...”

The Galarian Corsola comfortably perched on Porygon’s back, continuing to stay out of the way of Hydreigon, knowing it would lick or bite it once it emerged from the bathroom. Porygon’s back was undoubtedly the safest place.
