Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 442: Chapter 365: Singing and Dancing

Mr. Da Wu let Baimu experience what is called Hoenn speed.

A bowl of noodle soup took only fifteen seconds.

From the initial bright-eyed ”delicious” to the moment he politely wiped his mouth with a napkin saying ”thanks for the treat,” the process was as brief as if it had been edited.

As a result, when Baimu turned back to pour him a drink, he found that Mr. Da Wu had already stood up and left.

”Mr. Da Wu, you...”

”Your skills have improved again. I believe even if you opened a shop, business would be booming, right?” praised Mr. Da Wu, his mouth praising the taste while his body very honestly walked towards the direction of the Wishing Star.

If it weren’t too ungraceful to eat while admiring, this Hoenn Champion probably wouldn’t come to the dining table at all.

”Thanks for the compliment.”

Baimu put down the drink helplessly. Seeing Mr. Da Wu’s performance with his own eyes, he finally understood what kind of passion it took for someone to willingly give up the champion’s throne.

This cup of drink, even if served, Mr. Da Wu probably won’t drink it, right?

He noticed the Blissey actively cleaning up the dishes, feeling somewhat idle for a moment.

”Didn’t eat?”

A deep voice echoed beside his ear; Baimu turned his head to see the floating bowl, not far from which the Altered-color Metagross had blue eyes filled with a somewhat longing look.

”Didn’t eat~”

Can I have another bowl?

Although Baimu couldn’t understand what the Altered-color Metagross’s cries meant, he could read its eyes, ”More food?”

”Didn’t eat!”

”Alright.”

He took the bowl and added Pokéfood, then looked towards the distance where Mr. Da Wu was picking up the Wishing Star, shouting, ”Mr. Da Wu! Aren’t your other Pokémon eating?”

”No worries, I only brought Metagross out this time.”

Da Wu smiled and somehow conjured a monocle, placing it on his right eye to observe the patterns on the Wishing Star.

Judging by his slowed breathing, he was clearly enthralled.

Baimu carried the bowl to the Altered-color Metagross’s side, unable to resist asking, ”Is Mr. Da Wu always like this?”

”Didn’t eat.”

The Altered-color Metagross shook its right claw to deny, while using the left to stuff the food into its mouth.

It explained to the nearby Big Monster Aggron, which then explained to Baimu.

The latter’s understanding relied entirely on his rapport with the Pokémon and a slight amount of imagination, forming in his mind an image of a special rock enthusiast.

Metagross stated that Da Wu usually only kept looking at particularly interesting rocks, often for an entire day, holding and admiring them as if daydreaming. Most people couldn’t imagine what was so appealing about these things that he could look at them so long.

”Impressive.”

Baimu clicked his tongue in wonder, realizing he probably couldn’t disturb Da Wu in this state, so he simply began to train his Pokémon—

The reason for not going out was the fear that Lei Gong might show up.

If this guy confronted Da Wu and there was no explanation, it would most likely cause a big misunderstanding.

Of course.

The small courtyard setting was not ideal.

For normal training, it certainly wasn’t spacious enough.

But if it was just for Gorgeous Competition practice, that wasn’t a problem.

On another note.

After much deliberation and discussion with Mawile, he decided to let Blissey join the Gorgeous Competition team as well.

Otherwise, having only Mawile and Feebas wouldn’t seem like enough Pokémon for participation.

Blissey, with its many Psychic and Fairy Attribute moves, was quite suitable for Gorgeous Competition performances, so it made sense for it to join.

This year’s first round of screenings in Fallarbor Town was quite unique—

It was a double battle format.

When Xiaoyao participated, it was still a single battle format, but with the times changing, it had transformed into a double battle.

So this time, Mawile would no longer be performing a solo act.

”What do you think?”

He looked at the nearby Mawile.

”Chido!”

Mawile rolled its eyes, implying what choice it had given the format.

Furthermore, even if it meant going on stage with other partners, or stepping down for Blissey to perform alone, what could it say?

Reaching this point, Mawile was well aware that the Gorgeous Competition was no longer a whimsical game chosen to showcase its own brilliance.

If serious participation was on the agenda, going for the win was a certainty. To achieve the ultimate victory, relying solely on its own display of glamour was unrealistic.

Therefore, Mawile could only support the Trainer’s decision.

But when it came to the content of the performance...

Baimu started to struggle.

Double performances are different from solo ones, emphasizing the perfect blend between moves, creating new beauty from moves that would normally explode.

The requirement for synergy between the two Pokémon is extremely high.

”As expected, like before, let’s first design the performance content.” He took out a sketchbook.

With numerous moves between Mawile and Blissey, how many new move combinations could emerge?

Also.

Should he incorporate the guitar song he just learned as background music?

After pondering, Baimu decided to forgo it.

For now, his guitar skills were not proficient enough, using it hastily would only backfire, so maintaining the original plan would be better...

”Deciding on a theme is really a troublesome matter.”

He tried to draw inspiration from Mawile and Blissey.

Mawile, recalling the success from previous dance performances, decisively declared that dance should be the key to victory again this time, ”Chido!”

It looked towards Blissey, hoping the latter would dance together with it.

”Happy...”

Blissey glanced at its round body, then at Mawile’s slender form.
