Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 434: Chapter 362: The Great Cat-Petting Plan (Part 3)

”Ah!”

Baimu screamed and withdrew his right hand, frantically rubbing the skin’s surface and his slightly charred fingertips. The tingling sensation clenched his teeth, rendering him speechless, forcing him to stare intently at the smug-looking Lei Gong.

Damn it, you’re really ruthless!

He had to admit that Lei Gong might have a special talent for harsh interrogation, otherwise how could it make him experience more pain than when he was injured at Pyrite Town without causing significant harm?

Refined sense of pain?

”Just you wait!” Baimu threw down a harsh remark and went out with his Pokémon to shop for essentials.

By the way, he also had to check the teeth of his Hydreigon.

This guy might have tooth decay which makes his breath so bad, and if his oral hygiene isn’t cleaned up in time, just a slight whiff could potentially shorten his life by at least a week.

Not long after he left.

Lei Gong also went out. Although he learned from Baimu that the last escapee was the Meteor People’s Xijana, what if someone had already escaped earlier?

It did not want to miss any Rocket Team Member.

Furthermore, from Lei Gong’s understanding, a secret base so big being taken down, with so many people losing their ability to fight and passing out, Rocket Team couldn’t possibly have no reaction.

Most importantly, it didn’t want a few small tails lingering behind itself and Baimu; those guys love to take advantage of the situation.

Atop a tall building.

Lei Gong’s fur gently quivered in the strong wind, and its cold gaze shifted among the passing crowds, managing to spot one or two suspicious individuals.

But it didn’t act rashly.

Instead, it waited for the suspicious ones to reach a less crowded area, then carefully observed them to confirm something was wrong before striking a thunderbolt to teach them a lesson.

Unfortunately, someone got to them first.

”Ah!”

The suspect was knocked out cold by a hooded girl hitting the back of his head.

Lei Gong sniffed the air, its expression becoming a bit strange, and descended into the alley below, watching the mysterious visitor from afar.

”Roar...”

”Hey~”

Xijana waved at Lei Gong with a smile, ”You didn’t chase after me fiercely today; it seems Baimu has already told you who I am?”

”...”

”I didn’t expect him to mingle with Legendary Pokémon. By the way... you haven’t been captured, have you?” Xijana pulled out a Pokeball from her pocket.

Lei Gong crouched down a bit cautiously.

Although his guard against Xijana had somewhat relaxed, if she tried to capture him, he would definitely muster all his strength to shatter her delusions.

But.

The other party only intended to release a Pokémon.

”I don’t know why you’re chasing Rocket Team members, but I’m sorry, these people are mine to handle.” Xijana kicked the limp Rocket Team Member on the ground, ”I can’t hand them over to you.”

Even if I had them, they’d be useless to me...

Lei Gong remained silent; its usual move against Rocket Team Members was to stun them with electricity, then release all their Pokémon and destroy all their electronics.

The first part was fine, but once it did the latter, most poachers or Rocket Team members would become visibly enraged, looking as if they wished to kill it.

As if it had destroyed something particularly important.

The more Lei Gong realized this, the more enthusiastic it became about doing it, since it didn’t care for Rocket Team Members’ possessions.

Speaking of which, since this Meteor People was also pursuing Rocket Team, doesn’t that mean Baimu is bound to encounter Rocket Team eventually? Perhaps that trial also involves them.

The more you don’t want to face something, the more it comes to you.

Lei Gong felt somewhat frustrated and thought if possible, it must let Baimu understand the degree of danger Rocket Team poses to avoid him suffering later.

With this idea in mind, it turned and leaped onto the nearby roof, continuing to climb upwards.

Soon afterward.

Lei Gong disappeared from Xijana’s sight.

”Ho-oh Guard seem so idle... What exactly are they here for?” She wondered as the decisive departure left her Salamence’s deployment pointless.

She thought she’d have to fight over people with it.

Xijana looked back at the Rocket Team member at her feet.

As the only designated Inheritor of the Hoenn Region, the Meteor People mastering Super Evolution from ancient times, Rocket Team exploring Hoenn was undeniably a group she didn’t want to encounter.

She especially didn’t want them to gain anything in this regard, so she’s always racking her brains to find their foothold and secret base, intending to take them all out in one go.

Xijana knew well that two fists are hard to fend off four hands, but she wasn’t to be underestimated. Knowing that the hardest ice should be broken from the inside, she often disguised herself as a Rocket Team member, starting to destroy from within—

Never failing.

She was a bit surprised at these guys’ intelligence, why would they still trust others so easily after suffering so many losses, without upgrading their vigilance?

Rocket Team, as a crime organization, was simply purer than the League.

Xijana stared at the person beneath her, knowing that this guy wasn’t any stray fish, but here to meet up with other personnel from the secret base.

Upon discovering the secret base was taken down, he fled, only to be caught up and chased by her here.

Seizing this opportunity.

She planned to interrogate them about their next plan, where they were going to cause harm, and where they were going to obtain the Key Stone and Super Stone required for Super Evolution.

Hotel.

When Lei Gong returned, Baimu was quietly waiting while scrubbing the Galarian Corsola’s shell.

All luggage had long been packed.

”Back? Get ready to go!”

Seeing Lei Gong jump inside from outdoors, he quickly got up and placed the Galarian Corsola on his shoulder; he almost thought the latter had bailed on him.

Now it seems, the character of this big cat is still commendable.

And what surprised him even more.

”Roar~”

Lei Gong unexpectedly responded to such a meaningless comment.
