Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 439: Chapter 364: Da Wu’s Obsession

Lei Gong was speechless right now.

And it didn’t want to answer Baimu’s stupid question of whether it had seen Jirachi before.

If it had encountered Jirachi, it wouldn’t have taken half the day to guess what it was.

Ultimately, it just sensed an unusual energy fluctuation and wanted Baimu to check it out. The series of subsequent events were beyond its expectations.

Even if the rocks contained Fire Stones and Fire Gems, it planned to take them all on a whim since it was already there.

Who would have thought a Mythical Pokémon was tucked inside?

”Got it.”

Baimu noticed Lei Gong turning its head away, the twitching of its tail indicating it was quite annoyed, and realized he likely touched a sore spot inadvertently.

However, he had a reason for such a question.

Being one of the Pokémon resurrected by Ho-Oh at the Burned Tower 150 years ago, he was curious if Lei Gong was already Lei Gong before its revival or, as some speculated, one of the Eevee.

Baimu had once searched online for the legends of the Ho-oh Guard, finding the oldest tale was the Burned Tower Ho-Oh descending event.

On the other hand,

There had been depictions of differently colored Three Sacred Beasts ruling over phantoms. Although there were no records of differently colored Ho-oh Guard online, Crown City and the notorious criminal Koutai from the movie’s background were indeed real.

”Have you been to Crown City?”

He asked.

Lei Gong remained silent, seemingly in a bad mood.

Seeing this, Baimu dismissed his suspicions, casually set down the Wishing Star, and took out a comb to soothe this somewhat prideful big cat.

Lei Gong initially resisted the brushing, but as Baimu continued, a tingling sensation coursed through its head, leading it to reluctantly accept.

Listening closely, one could hear its slightly heavy breathing, seeming a bit overwhelmed, unclear when it might start purring like a cat.

Possibly on the same day someone buries their face in its fur?

”Hehe.”

Baimu couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

This big cat was the type that needed its fur stroked soothingly when angry and was okay with rough pats on other days. Though it looked full of majesty, it was actually quite sensitive inside, easily irritated, and didn’t hide its feelings.

No idea what the other two are like.

The fictional Entei, imagined by the Unknown Totems, exuded majesty and strength, having father’s elements mixed in, fulfilling Xiaomei’s vision of a father.

Suicune... is hard to say.

Meanwhile, while combing, Baimu chatted with Laisa on his phone, agreeing to hand over the Wishing Star, Fire Stone, and Fire Gem for her to study slightly.

Of course, if the Wishing Star reacted to him, Baimu might seek Jirachi’s consent.

As for transportation methods.

Laisa: ”You absolutely can’t mail it! It’s a Wishing Star! What if it’s attacked by Pokémon and lost during delivery?”

Baimu: ”I don’t think so... I’ve heard the loss rate for mail is less than one in a thousand...”

Laisa: ”A one in a thousand chance is already huge! Just wait! I’ll have Da Wu come find you!”

Baimu: ”Eh?”

Laisa: ”Where are you heading next?”

Baimu: ”There’s no need to bother Mr. Da Wu... Okay, okay, I’ll be heading to Fallarbor Town next, it’ll take me at most a day and a half to get there.”

Laisa: ”Got it! I’ll have Da Wu contact you then!”

Baimu: ”...”

How does this girl speak so casually as if she could just summon the Champion? Anyway, given Da Wu’s enthusiastic fondness for stones, hearing there is one with a Mythical Pokémon inside it, he would definitely come running, no matter how far.

——

At the cable car’s northern station.

Baimu pushed a large cart down, speeding along under the curious gazes of staff and travelers.

The wind lifted the corner of a black cloth revealing craggy rocks.

This had them looking away.

People come to Chimney Mountain to collect stones all the time, although few gather as much as Baimu did, it’s not unheard of.

Baimu, following the mountain trail down, parked the cart in front of a grove, uncovered the black cloth setting Lei Gong free, and tossed aside unwanted stones.

”...Still can’t fit, what do I do?”

After putting the Fire Stone in his bag, he realized there wasn’t enough space for the Fire Gem and Wishing Star. His bag was already crammed full, so he looked helplessly at Lei Gong for assistance.

”...”

Lei Gong silently looked away.

What could it do? It’s not a Tauros pulling a cart.

”Looks like I’ll have to keep pushing this cart,” Baimu reluctantly put the bag and stones on the cart, covered them with a black cloth, and fastened them with ropes to prevent spills.

Since he needed to reach Fallarbor Town or its vicinity by tomorrow, there was no point in visiting places like Numel Farm.

He, along with Lei Gong and Galarian Corsola, searched for the nearest Flame Path.

This tunnel,

In the game, connects the two parts of Route 112, allowing players to bypass an impassable desert without goggles.

However, in the animation, it is located at the very base of Chimney Mountain, with only two exits despite being described as an intricate network, allowing travelers fast transit and quick access to Route 113.

However, it must be noted there were many short-tempered Slugma inside.

These, when banding together, were called lava tides, their intense body heat scorching everything they passed, likened to a natural disaster.
