Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 349: Chapter 336: The Best Sparring Partner

Absorb the nutrients for growth from powerful opponents, allowing oneself to thrive.

Baimu distinctly knows that what he seeks is not like Dan Emperor’s path of winning every battle after debut, but to achieve final victory with absolute strength in the most critical matches.

Even if he can only win one battle out of ten, he must win the most crucial one.

He quickly recalled the Galarian Corsola, which had lost its ability to fight. ”You’ve worked hard, let’s leave it here for today.”

Immediately.

The second Pokeball opened.

Bang!

”Heywu!” ”Heywu!”

Zweilous landed, roaring at the Roserade not far away.

Mann Chong saw this Pokémon, equally unfamiliar to him, and a familiar itch rose again, with an inexplicably complex emotion brewing in his heart.

But he understood the immediate need was to continue battling.

”Parasitic Seed!”

”Leido!”

Roserade raised the floral bouquet in both hands, spraying several brown seeds toward Zweilous. Unexpectedly, the seeds were scorched to ashes by indigo flames midway.

Zweilous’s left head spewed Dragon Breath, while the right head shouted noisily to affect Roserade, observing its movements.

The two heads doing different things simultaneously was an attempt by Zweilous under Baimu’s guidance.

Multi-tasking, hands-on combat.

Currently, it’s not very skilled, occasionally falling into self-confusion, but once put into real combat, it will surely become better.

”Transformation Techniques indeed won’t work...”

Mann Chong realized that Baimu and his Pokémon always had a special defense against Transformation Techniques, consistently finding ways to thwart them, forcing him to rely on sheer force in battle.

”...”

Roserade inadvertently sweated a bit on its forehead, a curse silently tearing at its spiritual body, causing continuous stamina depletion.

But only it, possessing strong endurance, could withstand such a thing.

If other teammates had come, they really wouldn’t be able to cope.

While one person and one Pokémon contemplated, on Baimu’s command, Zweilous had already spewed crimson and indigo Dragon Flame!

”Dragon’s Pulse!”

Boom!

The different colors mixed into a ferocious Energy Giant Dragon, roiling through the air, emitting a roar-like Giant Sound as it charged toward Roserade, its clawing posture quite intimidating.

”Awakened Power!”

”Leido!”

Roserade raised its flower hands high, numerous shining ice-blue balls converging, firing towards the Energy Giant Dragon like a Flash Grenade!

Bang!

The two moves collided, instantly exploding into smoke covering the sky.

They had mutually canceled each other out.

However, Roserade’s reactivation speed was distinctly faster than Zweilous, sprinting toward the latter the moment Awakened Power ended.

”Get close to it! Missile Needle!”

Mann Chong shouted, realizing that influencing the opponent with Transformation Techniques was just a waste of time, and seeing Zweilous’s ”frailty” from this clash, he decisively abandoned delaying further.

”Leido!”

Roserade raised its arms, accompanying its charge forward, countless emerald light arrows fired out!

Pow, pow, pow!

They seemed to have a built-in tracking system like missiles, clinging tightly to the moving Zweilous aware of the worsening situation, continuously pursuing its silhouette.

The ground kept exploding into smoke with the strikes of Missile Needle, obscuring its body.

Thankfully, Zweilous had two heads, allowing one head to control dodging while the other kept focusing on Roserade, maintaining a stable distance.

Magic Brilliance must be guarded, but for now, an attack opportunity has appeared instead.

”Heywu!” ”Heywu!”

It shouted to remind the Trainer. Instead of passive dodging in anticipation of luring out the opponent’s key move, it’s better to rush directly!

Attack! Attack!

”Dragon Dive!”

”Roar!”

Baimu responded immediately to the decision, with Zwei heads of Zweilous transforming into bright light clusters. The hissing became a low roar, and the ferocious double-headed Energy Giant Dragon reappeared, charging at the approaching Roserade!

Its astonishing momentum accompanied its breakthrough through the smoke, descending on Roserade’s mind, though there wasn’t a trace of panic on Roserade’s face.

”Now’s the time! It can’t dodge! Missile Needle!”

It raised its arms as if setting up a machine gun, continuously shooting emerald light arrows at the charging Zweilous!

Since the distance closed in, the dodging space was forcibly reduced greatly. Plus, in the attack phase, the double-headed Energy Giant Dragon charging fiercely couldn’t evade and had to take the Missile Needle.

Bang, bang, bang!

Dense gunpowder smoke rose.

The explosion flames mingled with indigo colors let Mann Chong understand that Dragon Dive has successfully been disrupted by Missile Needle.

”Pursue—”

Before he finished speaking.

A dark shadow suddenly broke through the smoke, turning out to be Zweilous shedding the Energy Giant Dragon’s outer membrane!

Though it didn’t make any noise, its whole body was surrounded by a terrifying aura, with four pairs of eyes hidden by dark fur emitting a creepy glow, even frightening Roserade for a moment.

”Awak, Awakened Power!”

”Flame Fang!”

Mann Chong and Baimu shouted together.

But at this moment, Zweilous’s attack speed was evidently faster, with both heads simultaneously leaning forward, scorching flames quickly igniting between its teeth as it opened its mouth!

In an instant.

Two phantom-like Flame Fangs formed in the air, violently closing in on the ice-blue balls rapidly forming around Roserade!
