Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 303: Chapter 300: Bunny Besties

The fully exerted Frozen Fist, can it achieve the requirement of being launched outward?

Mawile thought it over and decided to give it a try.

”Cheedor!”

Its right fist lit up with a snowy brilliance, like a meteor tail streaking through the sky, the energy accumulated in an instant and was swung fiercely into the air!

Bang!

The spot where Mawile’s fist landed suddenly exploded in a cloud of white mist, the chilling cold spread in all directions, slowly dissipating.

That’s all.

”Cheedor...” Mawile looked at its fist, somewhat disappointed.

Sure enough, this technique isn’t so easy to master.

Piplup, seeing the goddess it admired looking so sad, felt heartbroken, tears of pity filled its small eyes, ”Pobbi...”

”No need to be so disheartened, didn’t Dr. Kukui say? The variation of moves lies in the imaginative power and diligent practice of both Pokémon and Trainers, there are no shortcuts on this path.”

Baimu was quite relaxed, smiling as he comforted them.

Xiaoguang immediately chimed in, ”That’s right! With diligent practice, you’ll definitely master it! It’s perfectly normal to encounter difficulties at the beginning!”

She had quite the authority in whimsical ideas; the combination of Mamoswine’s Ice Shard and Cyndaquil’s Flame Vehicle, forming Flame Ice, looked utterly whimsical to others, but she still managed to complete it successfully.

”Hey!”

She seemed to have thought of something, took a Pokeball out of her pocket, ”Come out! Buneary!”

Bang!

A flash of white light.

A humanoid little brown-haired rabbit landed on the ground, ”Mimi?”

”This is the Ice Attribute move expert in my team, it can surely help Mawile!” Xiaoguang said with a smile.

”Ice Attribute expert?”

Baimu paused for a moment, then realized it was the little fan-girl Buneary, capable of completely freezing a lake surface, despite being a General Attribute she used Frozen Beam proficiently, and adored Pikachu.

Piplup’s eyes lit up when it saw Buneary, ”Pobbi! Pobbi Pobbi!”

It was very enthusiastic in calling out to Buneary.

”Mimi?”

Buneary leaned back slightly, looked at Piplup disdainfully, then subtly turned its head showing an indifferent expression. However, when it looked at Mawile, its gaze landed on the red ribbon behind its head, feeling a bit shy yet curious, ”Mimi~”

”Cheedor~”

Mawile glanced up at Baimu for a moment, then upon his cue, approached Buneary, generously turning its head to display the red ribbon to Buneary.

”Mimi~”

Seeing the ribbon and bell up close, and smelling a pleasant fragrance, Buneary was no longer tense or shy.

Clearly.

The two Pokémon had similar interests, both enjoyed dressing up.

Piplup wanted to join in, but found itself subtly excluded by the two, unable to engage in the girls’ conversation.

”Pobbi—”

Piplup was petrified on the spot, with tears still visible in its eyes.

Baimu couldn’t help laughing, ”Your Piplup is exceptionally cute.”

”Ahahaha...”

Xiaoguang laughed awkwardly.

Afterwards.

With Xiaoguang and Buneary accompanying the practice, Baimu and Mawile began intensive training on the Frozen Fist, striving to master the technique of releasing the Frozen Fist in the next Gorgeous Competition.

Why not instruct?

Because what Buneary knew was primarily the long-range move Frozen Beam, it could only teach how to model ice.

Speaking of which, Baimu was also curious how Xiaoguang made hollow and transparent Ice Balls, merely using Frozen Beam to such an extent, she was indeed a prodigy.

Occasionally being called the female version of Ash isn’t without reason.

——

Noon.

Finishing their practice, the two grouped up for lunch.

To thank Xiaoguang for accompanying the practice, Baimu decided to showcase his cooking skills.

She felt a bit embarrassed initially, seeing all the groceries, repeatedly saying there was no need for such hassle, but she shut her mouth upon smelling the kitchen’s aroma.

”Smells so good...”

Xiaoguang and Piplup sat in the living room, sensing their noses were stretching, distracted by the aroma inside.

”Pobbi Pobbi...”

Piplup agreed, the enticing aroma almost wiped Mawile’s image from its mind and was constantly invading.

Both inevitably recalled the squinty-eyed man who cooked for them during a past journey, remembering Xiaogang’s meals were also irresistibly tempting.

Just wondering where he is now, and Ash... which region he’s traveling to?

As Xiaoguang and Piplup reminisced, Baimu and Chansey came out with plates and bowls.

”Lunch is ready!”

Baimu announced to them, then unfastened the Pokeballs from his waist, releasing his Pokémon, ”Time for lunch!”

”Pobbi!”

Piplup jumped up from the sofa instantly, hurried to Baimu’s side, demanding to carry a plate.

The proud little penguin wouldn’t let itself eat scraps, but if it helped out, the food would be its deserved reward.

”What’s up? Can’t wait?”

Baimu was utterly clueless about what Piplup wanted, as standing there flapping its wings and calling you didn’t make sense to him.

Luckily, Chansey was more considerate, handing the bowl over.

Piplup got its wish.

On the other side.

Xiaoguang was amazed by Baimu’s variety of Pokémon; she was almost scared by the large size of Aggron, yet unexpectedly, it was friendly.

Even reaching out for a handshake.

Other Pokémon were also unique, especially Galarian Corsola, Deino, and Porygon, she hadn’t seen or recognized them before.

She promptly took out the Illustrated Guide and scanned them one by one.

”Amazing, so many Pokémon I’ve never seen before!”

Xiaoguang felt enriched today and quickly released her partners, ”Come out, everyone!”

Bang bang bang——

A series of lights flashed.

Her remaining Pokémon fell to the ground.

Pachirisu, Quilava, Mamoswine, and Togekiss.

”Pachi Pachi!” Energetic Pachirisu, smelling the food, instantly rushed to Baimu, quickly climbing up his clothes to perch on his shoulder, greedily gazing downward.

Also loving food, even being lured away by Xiaoguang due to its love for eating, Mamoswine couldn’t hold back.

Fortunately, Baimu understood this reckless personality soon and handed its portion along with another to Aggron, ”You two big monsters can split them yourselves.”

”Guh!”

Aggron took it, exchanged a look with Mamoswine.

Mamoswine eyed the taller and frightening big monster, dared not rush over, ”Moo—”

”Guh.”

Aggron shook its neck, and the two went their separate ways.

Quilava and Togekiss, though more reserved, also couldn’t resist approaching Baimu.

Soon enough.

All Pokémon received their share.

Baimu and Xiaoguang finally started eating.

”I’m digging in!”

Xiaoguang cheerfully clasped her hands together, eagerly took fried rice into her mouth, then enjoyed patting her plump cheek, ”So delicious~”

”As long as I didn’t disappoint you.”

Baimu smiled slightly.
