Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 338: Chapter 33: Relentless Cleaver Attacks

If a Trainer does not give orders, even if they get hit themselves, they won’t retaliate. To be honest, such Pokémon have quite a utilitarian feel.

It rather aligns with Rocket Team’s philosophy.

Giovanni once hoped Mewtwo would become his tool for world domination, but unfortunately, this ”tool” had far more independent thinking ability than ordinary Pokémon and outright rebelled, directly blowing up his headquarters.

In Gym battles.

Electabuzz’s performance was indeed impressive. Whether it was Hundred Thousand Volts, Thunder Fist, or Thunder, these powerful Electric Techniques were at its fingertips.

It’s clear from these aspects that Rocket Team’s Breeders are quite skilled.

Violet Gym was also defeated in one go.

[You defeated Violet Gym Leader Asoo and obtained the Flying Wings Badge]

Having obtained the second badge and sensing his own good momentum, the Rocket Team Member quickly got a Hitmonchan stronger than Electabuzz through his girlfriends at the base.

And evolved Murkrow into Honchkrow using the Dark Stone.

[Your Murkrow evolved into Honchkrow]

Baimu was puzzled as to why he didn’t evolve Electabuzz into Electivire. Was it because the Power Amplifier hadn’t arrived?

In any case, the Rocket Team Member quickly advanced and arrived at Manjin Gym.

Relying on Hitmonchan’s Sonic Fist, he easily secured the third Gym.

However, after adding a fourth Crobat, he encountered his first major defeat at Azure Gym.

Even though he had two Flying Attribute Pokémon in his lineup, Asi still defeated him with his strong Fighting skills, bringing a first emotional impact to the Rocket Team Member.

He almost wanted to ask his girlfriends for help.

Fortunately.

After the second Gym challenge, the Rocket Team Member passed through Asi’s obstacle smoothly.

This made him realize that not all the Gym Trainers in Johto are as easy to deal with as those first three—there are always a few particularly strong ones—

No doubt about it.

This point was confirmed at Kaji Gym.

Three times through Asakusa Gym, three times through Yuanzhu Gym, relying on the newly arrived Houndoom for the former and on Honchkrow and Houndoom for the latter. But he couldn’t get past Kaji Gym.

Even with the Fire Attribute Houndoom, Electric Attribute Electabuzz, and Fighting Attribute Hitmonchan.

The addition of a sixth Skarmory not only failed to show its skills but was instead suppressed by Elder Liu’s Dewgong.

Five battles, five defeats.

At this time, Baimu also discovered something else.

Usually, Pokémon grow as Trainers challenge Gyms, but the Pokémon in the Rocket Team Member’s hands can be described as having no progress!

Except for Honchkrow, the power of the techniques exhibited by the other Pokémon was as strong at the beginning as it was later on.

It seems to align with the Rocket Team Member’s talent [Novice].

[You found yourself completely stuck at Kaji Gym and, in desperation, made a call for help to your girlfriends number eight and eleven]

Huh?

Baimu was slightly stunned.

Soon after, he saw two female Rocket Team Members appear beside the Rocket Team Member, sparks jumping between their gazes, clearly treating each other as enemies.

Is the ship going to sink?

Initially, it seemed the Rocket Team Member’s nature as a scoundrel would be exposed, but surprisingly, he successfully deceived those two female Rocket Team Members.

The three infiltrated Kaji Gym, the Rocket Team Member went to steal badges, one female Rocket Team Member directly modified the Gym’s trainer registration program, planning the Rocket Team Member’s challenge process on it.

The remaining one uploaded the edited battle video to the league network—

”Is this even possible!?”

Baimu was shocked upon seeing the detailed explanation in the narration. Elder Liu’s personal account was cracked like that, doesn’t it make the league system seem too dumb?

Although in the animation, it’s common for the good guys to be incompetent and need help from minors like Ash Ketchum, he didn’t expect the league system to be so easily hacked by a Rocket Team Member.

Wouldn’t Rocket Team give him rewards for this—

The facts proved Baimu wrong, as those two female Rocket Team Members directly kept this matter under wraps, causing Rocket Team internal affairs to be unaware while giving him rewards.

Baimu hoped that the situation would be exposed in the subsequent qualifiers for this guy.

It’s only natural.

Having tasted this convenience, the Rocket Team Member refused to challenge Gyms honestly again and specifically chose the most famous Yanmo Gym to ”challenge.”

Unexpectedly, the defenses at Yanmo Gym were far stricter than those at Kaji Gym.

Resulting in two consecutive failed infiltrations by the Rocket Team Member.

Baimu suspected it was due to the influence of that camping youth who, along with two thieves, stole badges and made it to the Silver Conference stage.

In desperation, the Rocket Team Member had to give up on Yanmo Gym because others had already obtained the seventh badge, and he wanted to gain Giovanni’s attention by quickly completing the Silver Conference qualification.

At the last Gym, the Rocket Team Member used his own strength to get through, as the opponent’s power was truly not remarkable.

Successfully obtaining the Silver Conference qualification as the top performer, he was granted an audience with Giovanni, who gave him a large sum of money and a seventh Pokémon.

[You obtained a new Pokémon—Tyranitar, an addition that greatly enhances your future aspirations]

Goodness Tyranitar!

Baimu couldn’t help feeling shocked, as Giovanni truly went all out for this infiltration plan, even using such a Pokémon as a reward.
