Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 345: Chapter 335: Facing the Runner-Up (Triple-Length Chapter) (Part 2)

This is the owner of the Battlefront Zone. It’s hard to imagine how rich this sunglasses-wearing fat man must be to accomplish such a thing.

He felt amazed in his heart, and just as he was about to head out, someone stopped him.

”This is a Pokémon, right? Isn’t it?”

The person looked excitedly at Porygon, holding a Pokeball in his hand. ”Let’s have a Pokémon battle!”

”...Alright.”

Baimu saw the eager look on Porygon’s face and agreed.

With the power of glowing cuisine, his Trust Level with Porygon had already reached four hearts. It’s wonderful that this guy, who has been with the team for less than half a month, has grown to four stars.

Moreover, although it hadn’t learned Magic Space in this past week, it successfully learned Hundred Thousand Volts, which made him quite satisfied.

The two left the battle tent and found a battleground by the roadside.

It’s close to evening.

The sky showed a hint of yellow.

Before the fight, Baimu noticed that the opponent’s right foot seemed a bit lame. ”Is your foot alright?”

”No problem, no problem! It’s almost healed. Just another week and it’ll be fully recovered!”

The person laughed heartily. ”I can’t suppress my desire for battle. It’s really hard to find a partner at this time!”

Verdanturf Town always emits a laid-back atmosphere, which leads to many Trainers visiting, but finding one willing to battle seriously is rare.

Baimu directly sent out Porygon.

While the other person brought out a Pokémon that looked like a kangaroo with a head resembling a green mushroom hat - Breloom.

”Chiro!”

Breloom eagerly punched in the air several times, looking like it couldn’t suppress its desire to fight.

The moment the opponent appeared, the [Download] Trait was activated.

The ability-enhancing glow appeared on Porygon’s body.

Baimu couldn’t remember clearly if Breloom had high Physical Defense or Special Defense, and couldn’t determine which aspect had increased.

Luckily, Porygon reminded him.

”Pop!”

A monosyllable.

So it seems it’s Special Attack then.

Pokémon are quite sensitive to changes in Ability Value.

This peculiar scene made the opponent slightly dazed. ”What’s going on? Speaking of which, it’s the first time I’ve seen this Pokémon.”

Only at this moment did the other person realize they hadn’t used the Illustrated Guide to scan Porygon and couldn’t help thinking it’s a pity.

Having not battled for a long time leads to being a bit too impatient.

On the other side.

Baimu exchanged a glance with Porygon and nodded slightly.

To tell the truth, the fact that Porygon’s reputation isn’t prominent is bad for Dr. Akihabara, but for him as a Trainer, it’s tremendously beneficial.

Information disparity is a crucial part of Pokémon battles.

If that watermelon-headed Little Ghost knew Texture could allow Porygon to change its Attribute freely, they’d definitely be more cautious.

He ordered, ”Texture.”

”Pali!”

Colorful lights appeared on Porygon’s body, and the blue parts quickly changed to pink and violet.

Breloom, as a Pokémon with Grass and Fighting Attribute, has an Attribute advantage over a General Attribute Porygon, so changing attributes at the start is important.

Otherwise—

”Sonic Fist!”

Woosh!

Breloom’s figure suddenly disappeared, and when it reappeared, it was already by Porygon’s side, with its sharp red claws shooting out like bullets!

Even though Baimu and Porygon’s Dynamic Vision caught the silhouette of this guy throwing a punch, it was too late to react specifically.

Breloom’s fist solidly hit its head!

Boom!

A dull sound.

Porygon was hit by a punch and was pushed back a full two meters before it stabilized.

”Illusion Beam!”

Baimu quickly shouted, and Porygon immediately raised its tail and shot a brilliant beam at Breloom, making a fast initial move, piercing the swirling smoke and hitting Breloom’s body.

The smoke ”pop” detonated.

”Chiro!”

The latter let out a painful sound. Its own Special Attack Illusion Beam, with Porygon’s enhanced Ability Value, had considerable power.

Even though Breloom’s level wasn’t low, it couldn’t help but show pain when hit directly.

But instead of anger, it began to smile after showing a painful expression.

”Chiro!”

”Oh, oh, oh! This Pokémon called Porygon is quite tough!”

The opponent was even more excited. ”The Illustrated Guide said it’s a General Attribute Pokémon, right? Plus, its counter-attack speed is so quick! Interesting! Really interesting!”

”Ha, fly up and gain altitude!”

Baimu very politely ignored his counterpart’s dig and focused on dealing with Breloom.

Trainers in Main Series Regions often tend to start monologuing during battles, handing over the opportunities they worked hard to find.

But this opponent hasn’t battled in a long time, and their Pokémon Breloom probably feels the same. It’s understandable to be excited.

”I believe after this battle, Porygon will surely grow!”

He thought happily.

The main reason for coming to Verdanturf Town was to let Porygon and Galarian Corsola level up and learn more moves.

——

In front of the inn.

Mann Chong and Gallade kept glancing towards the entrance.

Every night at six o’clock.

His cousin Aman would force him to clock off, not allowing him to linger in the inn anymore.

She said, ”You’re a Trainer, okay! Although it’s troublesome for me to have you help manage the inn, don’t forget your real duty!

”Hurry and challenge Trainers! Verdanturf Town is a place full of hidden talents!”

Real duty...

As Mann Chong slowly walked forward, he stared at the green bricks on the ground.
