Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 331: Chapter 328: Complete Victory

At the moment of being blasted away by the explosion.

Baimu’s right hand had already opened the Pokeball, and with a flash of silver light, a majestic giant shadow leapt out, carrying his body to avoid the flying magma flow, landing with a boom on the side of the rock wall.

”Roar~”

Steelix swung its tail, slowly rotating its steel frame sideways, its bronze eyes scanning the smoky battlefield, and observing the scattered fragments of magma that had turned black but still contained tiny sparks.

He was urgently called over to deal with some powerful wild Pokémon...

What kind of wild Pokémon could be this terrifying?

”Blow the smoke away and find Mawile!”

Using the rotation of the steel frame, Baimu climbed up onto Steelix’s head, saying with some difficulty.

He took a deep breath, removing his tattered coat, and as Steelix accelerated the rotation of its steel frame, dispersing the rolling dust of the small stone path not far away, his breath finally stabilized.

The original stone path was already gone.

In its place was a semicircular deep pit, with Camerupt, returned to its original form, lying in the center, emitting green smoke all over its body... especially from the fake volcanic craters on its mouth and back.

Courtney was still in place, showing no visible injuries other than a bit of dust on her.

Apparently, the clothes she was wearing significantly cushioned the impact of the Big Explosion, making that black technology enviable.

”Well done...”

Seeing Courtney retract Camerupt and then about to release Mightyena, Baimu’s heart tightened slightly.

Mawile... was found.

He spotted it behind a fallen giant tree; from its completely smoke-covered dark gray Giant Jaw, it seemed like it had blocked the Big Explosion at the last critical moment, which was much better than taking it head-on.

”Are you alright?”

To confirm the other’s condition, Baimu shouted from afar.

”Chi, Chidor!”

Mawile, hearing the Trainer’s voice, quickly responded.

Fortunately, as a Steel Attribute Pokémon, it not only had decent Physical Defense, but also resistance to General Attribute moves, meaning the power of the Big Explosion was somewhat reduced against it.

In comparison.

He as the Trainer looked a bit worse for wear.

Luckily, he was in good physical condition, and the materials in his clothes also absorbed the impact, reducing the damage his body would have suffered. So, despite being close to the explosion, Baimu wasn’t very injured.

Moreover, the Big Explosion wasn’t even Mega Camerupt’s original move type, yet its power felt like it exceeded even Flamethrower and the Power of the Earth.

Why?

Could it be because the power didn’t scatter but concentrated at one point before blowing up?

Speaking of which, the same General Attribute big move, Destructive Beam, can often cause extraordinary destruction as well.

Baimu saw Mightyena land, but the Invisible Rocks didn’t appear to explode it, showing a disappointed look.

What a pity.

The Invisible Rocks scattered on the path must have been blown away by the Big Explosion.

After all, they are only invisible and not completely vanished to another world; the explosion’s range was so extensive that it simply couldn’t continue to persist.

”Roar...”

Courtney’s command surprised Baimu for a moment.

Forcing a switch at this time? Shouldn’t she take the opportunity to finish off the weakened Mawile?

He pondered, hurriedly speaking:

”Passing the Baton!”

”Roar—!!”

The command and the sonic wave from Mightyena’s mouth rolled toward Mawile, which quickly raised its right fist, seeking to pass on the remaining amplified power on itself!

In an instant.

Mawile transformed into a white light.

The Pokeball in Baimu’s other hand opened, and Aggron reappeared on the ground.

When the red light of the enhanced abilities shone, he relaxed a bit.

Inherited!

Ultimately, Mawile’s Passing the Baton was faster than Mightyena’s Roar, effectively securing the situation.

Seeing Mightyena in pain, with purple bubbles at its mouth, he felt a bit relieved.

”Roar...”

Aggron gazed at its repeated adversary, breathing out white smoke.

With Mightyena’s head drooping from Severe Poison, it still growled at Aggron, forcibly triggering its Intimidating Trait to lower its opponent’s attack as much as possible.

Did it save the Intimidation for lowering the attack since Roar wasn’t successful?

This active release was really formidable.

Baimu jumped onto a nearby stone, retrieving Steelix.

Mightyena had given its all, but as it couldn’t scare Aggron initially, its intimidation was even weaker now, having little effect overall.

Of course.

Aggron didn’t underestimate Mightyena either.

Often overturning situations in adversity, it was acutely aware of the potential power a Pokémon could exert in dire circumstances, hence its strategy boiled down to one word—”Steady.”

Give Mightyena no chance to turn the tables!

”Quicksand Hell!”

”Rush...”

”Roar!”

Aggron struck the ground with its right claw, swirling up a storm of dirt toward Mightyena!

”Awooo!”

Mightyena started a little slower, yet its speed surpassed the other, quickly bypassing the tumultuous quicksand storm, instantly circling to Aggron’s back, clawing out.

Bang!

A puff of smoke exploded.

Rush hit its mark!

But just as Mightyena was about to retreat, Aggron’s tail writhed like an agile serpent, coiling around Mightyena swiftly as if it had eyes.

Mightyena never expected such a thick tail to be so nimble.

Unbeknownst to it, Baimu intentionally had Aggron feign vulnerability, just to lure Mightyena in closer, capturing this agile opponent.

”Ugh!”

Mightyena tried to struggle, but under Severe Poison, its spirit was no longer so strong.

”Roar...”

Aggron turned its head, its grim visage and twilight-blue eyes exerting an invisible pressure, causing the physically weakened opponent’s heart to tremble.

”Iron Tail!”

”Roar!”

It violently thrashed its gleaming tail, having successfully been ambushed twice, there was no way to let you leave easily!

Bang!

Fragments flew, as Mightyena’s body was forcefully slammed onto the ground!

As the lingering dust settled, it was evidently unconscious, tongue lolling out, purple bubbles flowing slowly.

”Roar!!”

Aggron raised its head and let out a victorious roar.

Baimu finally exhaled deeply too, announcing his unilateral victory in the three-on-three match against Magma Team Officer Courtney’s wild battle.

Though the other side wielded the power of Super Evolution, it failed to expand this advantage, focusing too much on maximizing individual move power, lacking synergy among the three Pokémon...

Was it because Crobat was taken down too quickly?

All in all, Mega Camerupt was indeed intimidating, but Courtney still couldn’t unleash its full potential.

Baimu looked towards the Magma Team officer, expecting to see signs of disappointment on her face, only to find her smiling instead?

He: ”?”
