Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 330: Chapter 327: The Final ”Nuclear Explosion

What is Baimu planning to do?

There is no doubt, he intends to make an exchange.

Chansey approaching the Mega Camerupt amidst the fiery smoke is undoubtedly aiming to poison it.

In the state of Telekinesis, Mega Camerupt finds evasion extremely difficult, and since it is detached from the ground, the backfire from fire can’t make it sink, preventing it from using most physical ground techniques relying on its four legs—

The latter is far more important to hit than it seems.

Keep in mind that Mega Camerupt can learn [Earth Split]; what if Chansey rashly closes the distance and gets hit by Earth Split?

On the other side.

Despite the smoke interfering with the view, Courtney, who has formed a mental link with Mega Camerupt, is planning to order a large area Ground Technique, suddenly realizing the meaning behind Baimu letting Chansey use Telekinesis.

Just as the opponent expected, many Ground Techniques require contact with the ground to be effectively released, and Mega Camerupt floating in the air can’t use the techniques she wanted.

”Turn over... Power of the Earth!”

In haste, she made a bold decision.

”Moo!”

In mid-air, Mega Camerupt forcibly twisted around without hesitation, aimed the volcano on its back at the ground, ignoring the Chansey already nearby, fiercely erupting with a massive surge of Ground Attribute Energy from within!

Boom—!!

The dazzling bright yellow shockwaves continued to impact the ground, the fiery smoke was instantly dispelled by the dust-laden waves, and the nearest Chansey undeniably took the brunt of this impact!

The earth trembled madly, the entire mountain seemed to resonate with a booming sound.

Mega Camerupt’s Trait is [Forcing], which cancels the added effects of techniques to increase their power, sometimes allowing the Power of the Earth to occasionally reduce the opponent’s Special Defense, undoubtedly elevating it to an extremely terrifying level!

However.

Even such a formidable Power of the Earth counts for nothing in front of Chansey.

With its innate Special Shield and the enhancements from the Evolutionary Wondrous Stone and Light Wall, it becomes the nightmare of most Special Attackers.

No matter how strong your attack, the damage may not exceed the health Chansey can restore by laying eggs.

But aside from the impact of the Ground Attribute Energy, Chansey also needs to figure out how to ensure its weight isn’t blown away by the ensuing force.

Shortly after.

The shockwave from Power of the Earth disperses.

Courtney glances at the path shrouded in smoke, faintly glimpsing the silhouette of Mega Camerupt with its crater directed at the ground, catching Baimu’s continuous approach from the corner of her eye as well.

And when the smoke clears.

The unscathed Chansey stunned her. The strength of the Power of the Earth just now was clear, so how did Chansey emerge ”unscathed”?

Double Guard!?

The mind of Courtney, who has no concept of the durability of Moonstone Egg, is shocked!

”Lucky!”

In her momentary lapse, Chansey naturally captures the opportunity, directly spewing poison toward Mega Camerupt, putting it into a state of Severe Poison.

”Power of the Earth... Try again!”

Courtney is still not giving up.

Mega Camerupt, with a ghostly violet hue on its face and purple bubbles bubbling from its mouth, grunts and once again erupts a massive surge of Ground Attribute Energy from its volcano!

This time, Chansey doesn’t persist, allowing itself to be blown away by the pale yellow shockwave.

The direction of its backward flight precisely aligns with Baimu’s position approaching.

The earth, under the impact of the yellow brilliance, hums painfully, yet Baimu seemingly oblivious, suddenly leaps up from the ground, grabbing Chansey and tossing it to the lone non-magma landing spot, ”Invisible Rock!”

”Lucky!”

Chansey raises its little hand, summons numerous sharp rocks, and completes its final task.

To be honest, Mega Camerupt’s attacks were indeed fierce; it wasn’t completely unscathed, but for Chansey, who isn’t adept at attacking, it deliberately cultivated a pain-endurance ability sufficient to ignore them.

Baimu retrieves it with a Pokeball.

”You’ve worked hard... Now, let’s leave it to the others!”

To ensure his exchange isn’t interfered with by Courtney and Mega Camerupt, the Trainer actively closing the distance is the most effective exchange method.

Considering this, even though it posed some risk, he still approached.

Not far away.

Courtney watched as Baimu safely swapped Chansey out, with her heart still in turmoil.

It wasn’t just Chansey’s Special Defense—its performance was also a major reason she couldn’t rest easy.

So obsessed with victory...

She raised her hand to cover the uncontrollable smile on her face, often warned by teammates about her occasionally terrifying smile, so she usually covers it to avoid scaring others.

Yet she couldn’t have imagined she could cover her mouth but not the crescent-moon-like corners of her eyes.

Just preparing to release Mawile, Baimu’s heart skipped a beat, wondering if Mega Camerupt still had some hidden card to play, but his hands didn’t stop, still choosing Mawile.

Bam!

”Chidor!!”

Mawile landed, furrowing its brow at the surrounding magma flow.

The conditions of the battlefield were extremely dire, with scarce landing spots; without levitation, it had to endure the agony of magma, which was extremely unfavorable for battle.

Thankfully, it had the [Electromagnetic Levitation] technique.

Mawile lifted off, looking toward Mega Camerupt, which had landed not far away.

Without the supply of Spiritual Power, Telekinesis finally couldn’t hold on and was lifted, which was undoubtedly good news for Mega Camerupt.

”Fire...”

Courtney still resorted to fierce offense.

But she also understood that as Mega Camerupt entered Severe Poison status, the physical toll would intensify with time, and unable to end its condition, Mega Camerupt appeared to be in a countdown to fainting!

”Moo!”

Mega Camerupt, dizzy from poison, gritted its teeth, spewing pillars of fire into the sky, as molten meteor showers rushed toward Mawile amid rumbling sounds.

The spirited latter continued employing excellent evasion tactics, dodging one molten rock after another, continuously closing the distance with Mega Camerupt.

”Sword Dance!”

Mawile danced gracefully amid the fiery meteors, radiating an elegance akin to dancing on the edge.

Its momentum steadily rose.

Courtney watched it, sensing Mega Camerupt becoming increasingly weak, very aware that perhaps this was the final strike.

If so.

”Rush!”

She watched in Baimu’s command as Mawile suddenly transformed into a shadow charging toward Mega Camerupt, exchanging a glance with Mega Camerupt.

”...Big Explosion...”

Boom!

Mawile’s fist first struck Mega Camerupt’s chin, but simultaneously, Mega Camerupt’s body began glowing with an incredibly frightening bright white—

Boom!!!

A visibly intense shockwave lifted the ground’s magma, resonating outward, piercing white light and heavy smoke soared to the sky, transforming into a cloud resembling pale smoke, covering everything.

The terrifying explosion even triggered a landslide, sending numerous gigantic rocks rolling down the mountain.

Baimu didn’t even have time to protect Mawile, himself being swept away by the shockwave.

No way around it.

He was simply too close!

As the earth quaked and the mountain shook, countless wild Pokémon hiding trembled in fear as they looked to the summit’s rising colossal mushroom cloud.
