Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 327: Chapter 324: Slow Versus Fast

In a wild battle, even if it was stipulated not to attack the trainer directly.

Occasionally, the aftermath of a move might still affect the opponent excessively.

Baimu was currently in such an environment, with the road ahead covered by unsolidified superheated lava. The entire scene was a glaring red, and he couldn’t even find a foothold to move forward and observe more of the enemy’s situation.

Staying away from the forest was indeed the right choice.

With such power, if you don’t start a wildfire, then who will?

However.

Fortunately, Mawile had good control over Electromagnetic Levitation, along with its Dynamic Vision trained to master move complexity, which meant it hadn’t been hit by a single Molten Rock Ball yet.

At the same time, it had already arrived in front of Mega Camerupt.

The black clouds of smoke in the sky no longer rained down Molten Rock Balls, marking the end of the sustained attack from the second flamethrower.

”So agile...”

Fire Yat’s surprise at Mawile’s performance was evident. Evading fire wasn’t supposed to be easy, especially under an even more concentrated attack after two consecutive moves.

She hadn’t expected that the continuous powerful moves would either be dodged or neutralized.

Influenced by Mega Camerupt, even she felt a bit anxious.

The trainer felt it, not to mention the Pokémon. With its Fire Attribute, its temper was inherently not great, and the immense Super Energy made it perpetually on the edge of exploding like the volcano on its back. Now facing an agile, troublesome opponent like Mawile...

It was finding it hard to hold back.

”Moo!”

Mega Camerupt roared angrily, about to do something, but was swiftly recalled by Fire Yat with a Pokeball as she retained a bit of calm.

Upon realizing its moves weren’t hitting, she intelligently chose to switch out Mega Camerupt before Mawile attacked.

The ground was covered in lava, with virtually no safe foothold.

What Pokémon could Fire Yat use?

Without a doubt —

It was Crobat!

Bang!

A blinding white flash, and the rotund Crobat with its two big pairs of wings, resembling a plush toy more than a bat, appeared in midair.

”I’ve been waiting for you! Taunt!”

”Chido~”

With Baimu’s command, Mawile gave Crobat a mocking look as it entered, a blood-red light emanating from its body, inexplicably causing an effect that would irritate anyone who saw it.

”Gurgle!”

Unprepared, Crobat indeed fell for it, anger flashed across its face as its wings flapped fiercely, and blood-red light glimmered over its body.

It had clearly entered a Taunt state.

Fire Yat froze for an instant but dared not hesitate, ”Hot Wind...!”

”Gurgle!”

Crobat’s pairs of wings flapped fiercely, and a fiery wind surged towards Mawile like a massive wave!

In an instant.

The whole sky lit up in a dazzling red, with sparks mixed in with the strong wind as the Hot Wind formed into a substantial airflow. Even though it wasn’t a Flying Attribute move, under the boost of Crobat’s pairs of wings, the wind force had become extremely overwhelming!

Baimu only needed one look to know that Mawile’s Fairy Wind definitely couldn’t withstand it.

There was simply no room to dodge such a large-scale attack.

”Passing the Baton!”

”Chido!”

Mawile raised its right hand against the scorching torrent, a faint white light shone, forming a terrifying pull.

A Pokeball Baimu had long prepared opened automatically, another Pokeball released a red light beam, retrieving the grimacing Mawile in the heatwave.

”Roar!”

In Mawile’s place, Aggron took the brunt of the remaining Hot Wind, its fierce expression showing no trace of pain.

”Rock Lock!”

”Dodge...”

Baimu’s and Fire Yat’s commands came almost simultaneously, but Crobat was too quick. Even if Aggron consolidated and threw the rocks first, it still couldn’t hit the nimble Crobat.

The scattered rocks smashed onto a nearby mountain, shattering into countless pieces.

”Air Slash...”

”To the ground! Quicksand Hell!”

This time Fire Yat gave the order first, and Aggron, ready for the encounter, charged towards the lava-covered ground without hesitation, slamming its paw onto the ground!

Thud!

The small path covered in lava reappeared, countless rocks were lifted into the sky by a Sandstorm Tornado from Aggron, even the remaining lava was wrapped around, forming a shield to block the pale wind blade shot by Crobat!

”Expand it!”

Baimu continued to shout, located at the center of the Dust Storm, Aggron suddenly pushed it outward.

Even though as a Ground Attribute move, Quicksand Hell couldn’t hurt the Flying Type Crobat through attribute energy, this even lava and very real blinding sand wouldn’t dissolve into nothingness due to attribute compatibility.

”Hot Wind...”

Fire Yat promptly gave instructions but felt a bit stifled, Crobat had other skills to dispel the Dust Storm, but due to Taunt’s influence, it couldn’t use them.

Should she swap Mega Camerupt back in?

No.

There was still an opportunity.

Seeing Quicksand Hell being suppressed by Hot Wind, Fire Yat decided to let Crobat hang on a little longer, Taunt had a time limit, as long as they regained the advantage with Aggron unable to catch up, it would be manageable afterward.

While she pondered, her eyes suddenly glancing at the ground before her.

The small stones slightly trembled and leaped, and she could feel vibrations underfoot, which she initially attributed to Quicksand Hell, but just recently the vibration seemed to have increased slightly.

”Watch the ground!”

She quickly warned Crobat in the air.

In her haste, Fire Yat’s phrasing suddenly normalized.

But before Crobat could react, Aggron, using Digging to hide underground, had already burst through the surface, sending countless stones and dust flying!

Crobat was startled, seeing Aggron surging forward with light blue electric currents flickering between its twin horns. In the next moment, numerous light blue electric rings, moving too fast for the naked eye to track, enveloped its body!

Its speed was indeed swift, but not enough to dodge the lightning already released!

”Gurgle!”

Crobat’s body was pierced by currents, causing Paralysis. Its pairs of wings abruptly ceased flapping, sending it plummeting downwards right into Aggron’s grasp.

The latter showed no mercy, flipping itself over, smashing Crobat headlong onto the lava-scarred ground!

Brilliant white light shone from its head!

Thud!

The ground crumbled, countless fragments scattering everywhere.

Fire Yat shielded herself from the flying debris, and upon looking towards the field, Aggron held the now unconscious Crobat, exposing a taunting expression to her.

”Gurr~”

A bit infuriated.

Fire Yat silently recalled Crobat into its Pokeball, not expecting that such a small mistake on her part would straight-up lead to Crobat’s defeat when exploited by the opponent.

”I need... to be more serious now...”

She drew her next Pokeball, casting a sharp glance at Baimu and Aggron.
