Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 322: Chapter 319: Parental Bond

Route 110.

In the game, there is a winding elevated bike path here, allowing players to bypass grass and go straight to Mauville City.

It’s also in the animation, but integrated with the highway and not in the form of an elevated path.

After all, the area in the animation is far more expansive than in the game.

Baimu walked through the lush forest with a Zweilous curious about everything.

”Hey Wu?”

”This is a weed.”

”Hey Wu~”

”This is a dandelion, hahaha, you’re spitting fluff, almost made you sick.”

”Hey Wu!”

”This is a poisonous mushroom—don’t eat it!”

Slap!

A light slap landed on the disobedient left head, causing the right head, which was still spitting fluff, to shrink as well.

Baimu grabbed the left and right cheeks of the Zweilous, stretching them wide, and seriously said, ”Remember, things that are colorful, with a red cap and white stem, are absolutely not to be bitten!”

”Hey Wu!” ”Hey Wu!”

The Zweilous nodded seriously.

After the Trainer walked ahead, it scrutinized the bad thing called a poisonous mushroom.

Is this what got me smacked?

The Zweilous angrily swung its tail, smashing the colorful mushroom to pieces.

Bad mushroom!

”Hey Wu~” ”Hey Wu~”

Relieved, it ran after its beloved Baimu.

It was a journey full of questions and answers.

Soon, they passed by a small creek.

The Husky-possessed Zweilous couldn’t take its eyes off, its four eyes gleaming at the clear stream.

”That’s a creek. Want to go swimming? Do you?” Baimu grabbed the two heads of the Zweilous and rubbed them, causing the latter to cry out, sticking out its tongue and teeth to lick and nibble him.

”Hey Wu~” ”Hey Wu~”

Compared to the bustling city, the wild clearly made Zweilous feel more at ease, as if its suppressed nature was released, darting back and forth.

Having two heads increased its ability to observe, although sometimes it couldn’t quite control the distance, accidentally bumping into itself.

Baimu’s comment was: Just get used to it.

It hasn’t shown the problem of having two heads with different consciousnesses, seeming like only the left and right halves of the brain were divided between the two heads.

However, you could say it’s not very smart...

Its intelligence wasn’t high during its Deino stage aside from battles.

Beside the creek.

Just as Baimu was about to test the depth before letting the Zweilous swim, caught in the corner of his eye was a wild fisherman, wearing an eye-catching orange vest, sitting on a stool.

They exchanged glances, a silent understanding reached.

”Let’s battle!”

”Alright—won’t it affect your fishing?”

”Just moving places! Look at my big baby!”

The fisherman couldn’t wait to toss his Pokeball on the riverbank.

Bam!

A flash of light.

A huge red Crawdaunt, crowned with a large star, over half a person’s height, appeared on the field.

Clang clang~

The menacing claws closed quickly, emitting a metallic clattering sound.

”Hey Wu!”

Zweilous swiftly shifted its attention from the creek to the Crawdaunt, but instead of attacking, one head turned to look at Baimu, ”Hey Wu?”

”...That isn’t a head, it’s a claw, the yellow star underneath is the head!”

Baimu explained the physiology of Crawdaunt.

No wonder its many claws confuse Zweilous, mistaking claws for heads, and short claws under its abdomen for paws.

The fisherman didn’t quite understand what they were doing, but releasing a Pokémon in a wild battle signifies the start, so he immediately shouted, ”Charge! Dragon Dance!”

”Cracra!”

Crawdaunt’s legs moved quickly, its pair of giant claws spinning like tops, a blue light flowing on its body.

Wow!

A Crawdaunt that can perform Dragon Dance!

Baimu was quite surprised, feeling it truly worthy of the fisherman’s choice of a Pokémon, ”Dragon’s Pulse!”

”Hey Wu!” ”Hey Wu!”

The two heads of the Zweilous took a deep breath simultaneously, one mouth exhaled a blue flame, the other a crimson flame, and they sprayed forward fiercely!

Rumbling——!!

The glaring lightwave morphed into a fierce dragon-shaped energy before them, causing a thunderous roar as it rubbed against the air!

The fisherman was genuinely startled by the Dragon’s Pulse, shouting, ”Dodge it quickly!”

”Cracra!”

Crawdaunt also sensed something was wrong, and leapt up from the ground, narrowly dodging it.

Bam!

The dragon-shaped energy finally landed deep in the creek besides the fisherman, exploding a splash of water which cascaded down gloriously.

Under the sunlight, a rainbow flashed briefly.

The fisherman swallowed silently, turning back to face the fierce roaring Zweilous in disbelief, ”Such powerful force!”

Crawdaunt landed, also intimidated by the move’s power, hesitating to approach for a moment.

”This is called Parent-child Love, two heads are stronger than one.”

Baimu replied with a smile.

”Huh? Parent-child Love?” A hint of confusion flashed across the fisherman’s face.

Little did he know someone was just bluffing; regardless of the number of heads, the actual power doesn’t change unless the amount of attribute energy utilized changes due to the Parent-child Love trait.

”Scary Face!”

Baimu quickly commanded, ignoring the bewildered fisherman.

”Hey Wu!”

The Zweilous let out a ferocious roar at Crawdaunt, a terrifying ghost face rising behind it. Crawdaunt, already intimidated by the move’s power, was instantly affected!

”Now! Dragon Dive!”

”Ah! Use Crab Claw Hammer!”

The swift command from Baimu finally brought the fisherman back to his senses, but it was too late as the Zweilous launched its attack first.

”Hey Wu!” ”Hey Wu!”

The malicious aura materialized into a tangible pressure as the Zweilous charged!

The evil attribute Crawdaunt was so frightened again, until the opponent’s body was covered by dragon attribute energy, turning into a fierce dragon as both heads menacingly held up to smash down with a layer of blue water film on its claws.

The roaring energy evil dragon collided head-on with Crawdaunt’s massive claws!

Bang!

A huge boom, blue flashes and thick smoke exploded simultaneously!

The fisherman clutched his fists nervously and then saw Crawdaunt being tossed out by the strong waves, crashing through the smoke and falling to the ground, revealing a pair of swirly eyes.

Meanwhile, the Zweilous flapped its tiny wings to dispel the smoke, showing a lively appearance.

First battle after evolution—

Victory!

”Hey Wu!” ”Hey Wu!”

The excited Zweilous turned around swiftly, lunging towards Baimu.

”Well done, well done.”

He patted its two large heads, recalling the earlier Dragon Dive from both heads, and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow slightly.
