Apocalypse: I Built a City of Sin

“Ling Xueya, are you truly going to be this selfish?”

Du Zhiming’s eyes turned cold. He pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses and spoke with sinister anger.

“Our drinking water should have lasted several more days! But you relied on Chen Kun’s protection and secretly used the water everyone saved by drinking their own urine to wash your face! I’m telling you now: there isn’t a single drop of water left in this storeroom. If Xiao Yi refuses to give us any, then you can go outside and find more!”

“So that’s what happened! I knew we still had several bottles when we first arrived. You bitch—you used them to wash your face! We’ve been drinking our own piss every day to conserve water, and you wasted what we saved washing the face of a filthy whore!”

A female student beside Ling Xueya slapped her hard across the face and cursed furiously.

One of the young men smiled darkly. “If Ling Xueya refuses to sleep with Xiao Yi, the rest of us will survive only two or three more days. We’re going to die either way. Why don’t we drag her over here and have some fun first? At least we’ll get to learn what the campus beauty tastes like before we die!”

“Exactly! I’ve hated this bitch for a long time! She walks around every day with that miserable expression and her nose in the air, acting like the entire world exists to worship her! Fuck! This is the apocalypse. Without anyone protecting you, you’re worth less than a dog! Since we’re all going to die anyway, we might as well enjoy ourselves first!”

Another young man, ugly and marked by a dark birthmark beside one eye, stared greedily at Ling Xueya.

“If I get to taste the campus beauty before I die, then at least my life won’t have been wasted!”

“What are you planning to do?”

Ling Xueya stumbled back two steps and stared in horror at the classmates whose faces had twisted with lust and malice.

These same men had once been her devoted admirers. They had called her “Goddess” every day and practically worshiped her as a saint.

The women had all been her followers as well.

The one who had just slapped her used to trail behind Ling Xueya and address her as their leader!

Even setting aside everything she had done for them before the apocalypse, these women would have been raped by the other male survivors long ago if Ling Xueya had not continued protecting them after the outbreak.

How could these bootlickers dare speak to her this way?

What right did these bitches have to humiliate her?

Ling Xueya’s expression twisted. “You... You wouldn’t dare! If any of you hurt me, I’ll make sure you die horribly when Young Master Chen’s uncle sends the army!”

“Die horribly? Hahaha!” Du Zhiming laughed hysterically. “I’ve known for a long time that Chen Kun was lying to us. If the army still existed, it would already have fought its way to the city government and begun rescuing people! Have any of you heard gunfire or artillery? Have you seen a single aircraft? There’s been nothing!”

“Even if the army does still exist, we won’t survive long enough for it to save us! We’re giving you two choices. First, serve Xiao Yi properly and obtain food and water for everyone. Second, let everyone here enjoy you so we can at least discover what the campus beauty feels like before we die!”

Ling Xueya continued retreating as her face grew deathly pale. She looked at the unconscious Chen Kun, and guilt flashed through her eyes before desperation finally overwhelmed her.

“Xiao Yi! I’ll accompany you, but I have one condition! If I sleep with you, you must take both Chen Kun and me with you!”

“Oh? What a devoted couple. I’m so moved.” Xiao Yi smiled contemptuously. “Is this some tragic love story? Are we filming a movie?”

He tilted his head and looked at Ling Xueya.

“But are you trying to negotiate with me? What makes you think you’re qualified? I’m sorry, but I’m no bootlicker, and your devotion doesn’t move me in the slightest. I merely offered all of you a transaction. If you please me, I’ll give you the food and water. If you don’t, the transaction ends. There are no other conditions to discuss.”

Ling Xueya’s face flushed red. Anger, humiliation, and resentment warred across her features.

She looked back at the vicious faces behind her and finally made her decision.

Thud!

Ling Xueya dropped to her knees before Xiao Yi.

“I’ll serve you, Xiao Yi. But... can you stop these disgusting things from watching?”

Xiao Yi sneered and glanced at Du Zhiming and the others.

Du Zhiming’s eyes lit up. He immediately bowed and scraped before Xiao Yi, then turned and shouted at the survivors behind him.

“Everyone turn around! If anyone dares look, I’ll gouge out their filthy eyes! You two girls—find a sheet and hold it up around Benefactor Xiao and Campus Beauty Ling!”

Then Du Zhiming glanced at Chen Kun. Remembering Xiao Yi’s earlier question, viciousness flickered in his eyes.

“You two, tie Chen Kun up and piss on him until he wakes! Make him watch carefully while his girlfriend serves Benefactor Xiao. Consider it an opportunity for him to atone for his crimes!”
