The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1544: Chapter 1544: Old Lady Yuan’s Furious Accusation

Sometimes he also gets impatient with these relatives at home.

The other relatives are fine, at least they have some sense and usually don’t bother him unless something comes up and they occasionally call him.

Bernard Ingram is different. Over the years, Bernard has often bothered him, relying on his seniority.

No one likes a distant relative who loves to act like an elder in front of them, let alone a cousin.

Audrick Zachmann is still staying in the hospital.

The company has a lot of things that keep him busy.

Leonardy Zachmann is about to be driven crazy, so his tone isn’t very good: ”You say Nathalie ran into a KTV to threaten Trode Freeman? How is that possible.”

He frowned slightly, not knowing what was said on the other side, he continued: ”Nathalie is not that kind of person. She hasn’t even met Trode Freeman, what necessity would there be for her to specially go and threaten Trode Freeman... I’m not doubting you, but this matter is too ridiculous, I can’t find a reason for her to do that. There should be a reason for everything, right? She’s not crazy, how could she possibly do this!”

Hendrik Zachmann happened to come back from outside, he went to Tsinghua University and used Jackson Wafford’s connections to find out where Mr. Avalon lives.

Hendrik waited for several hours at Mr. Avalon’s place, unfortunately, he was out of town and Hendrik had to return home empty-handed.

As soon as Hendrik entered, he saw Leonardy Zachmann looking quite displeased while on the phone, so he went over and asked: ”Dad, who are you talking to?”

Leonardy took the phone away, tried to control his tone to not sound too agitated, and said: ”Your grandma called to say that Nathalie went to a KTV at noon to threaten your cousin, I’m talking to her now.”

He took a moment to speak to Hendrik, then with a furrowed brow, walked over to the sofa and continued talking to the old lady on the other end of the phone: ”In any case, I don’t believe Nathalie would do that, she has no reason to bully Trode Freeman.”

”Why wouldn’t she have a reason?! She’s naturally this kind of person, with no manners at all, who knows how Trode Freeman provoked her, making her want to block his way to confront him. I’m this old now, when I speak it’s clear and straight, can I be slandering a younger person?”

This time Bernard Ingram was very angry, her grandson is her treasure, and she was desperate to confront Nathalie.

So she didn’t give Leonardy a chance to speak, gritting her teeth, she continued: ”Trode Freeman’s friends called me to say this, how could I be making things up? I also don’t know what she said to Trode Freeman, now Trode Freeman has run to the police station saying he wants to turn himself in. His father and I have made several phone calls to him but can’t bring him back, I’m now planning to go to the police station to find him.”

”Even if she usually doesn’t show me respect, this time she still bullies people like this. She’s just a McKinney native with no upbringing, doesn’t Stanley Zachmann know how to educate his children?! So young and already acting so recklessly, she’s bound to cause trouble sooner or later!”

Leonardy’s complexion instantly became sullen, and although he remained silent, from his expression it was evident that Bernard’s words were too harsh and he was a bit unhappy.

Bernard’s voice was loud, even in her youth her character was fierce and unreasonable, loving to make a fuss over everything.

As she aged, she became even more so.

Her age may be advancing, but her voice didn’t quieten a bit, even though Leonardy didn’t have it on speaker, Hendrik who was beside could hear what she was saying.

”Dad, give me the phone.” Hendrik’s expression turned dark as he reached out to Leonardy.

Leonardy, on the verge of being driven mad by family relatives, handed over the phone with a stern face.
