The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1509: Chapter 1509: Help Me See if That Person Is Nathalie

”...Alright, I’ll wait a bit.” Sadam Vinson couldn’t help but say before hanging up the phone: ”Mrs. Yancey, please ask him to hurry.”

The person on the other end seemed to hang up.

Sadam Vinson slowly put down the phone under the two people’s gaze, turned his head, and said with sharp eyes: ”Mrs. Yancey said someone will join us to go to Sablehaven.”

”Who?” Brian Bonette uncharacteristically frowned, very impatient—clearly, he didn’t want to bring along another person.

Sadam Vinson was no more willing, but since Candice Yancey spoke, he couldn’t refuse: ”I didn’t ask. I could see Mrs. Yancey was quite anxious, so I tolerated it.”

He raised his watch, checked the time, and then placed his hand on the steering wheel, emphasizing: ”Mrs. Yancey said that person might be able to help. I don’t know what she’s thinking.”

Amadeus was out of contact, and even Brian Bonette’s uncle couldn’t reach him. Who could be so capable to offer help?

Mrs. Diana is just grasping at straws while sick!

Don’t get fooled!

”Anyway, let’s wait. Mrs. Yancey said the person is on their way and might take a while.”

Sadam Vinson was himself feeling irritated, clearly not wanting to wait.

Since Candice Yancey had spoken, Brian Bonette couldn’t say much. He nodded, not wanting to utter a word, and lowered his head to play on his phone, sending a message to Carmen Radcliff, first informing her that they would bring one more person.

...

That wait lasted for half an hour.

Sadam Vinson almost exploded with impatience.

Several times during the wait, he wanted to tell Candice to think of another way since they were in a hurry.

Ultimately, considering Candice Yancey’s feelings, he forcefully suppressed the anger in his heart.

Until a taxi stopped 100 meters away, and the car door opened, a figure stepped out.

His gaze was drawn there, and he couldn’t help but take a few more glances.

With that glance, he recognized the person.

He subconsciously called out: ”Nathalie?”

”Nathalie Quinlan? Where is she?” Brian Bonette rolled down the car window, looking in the direction Sadam Vinson pointed.

”Isn’t that person Nathalie?” Sadam Vinson couldn’t be sure himself.

Primarily because he had heard Alfred Garland mention once that Nathalie Quinlan wasn’t in Beijing, plus he was playing games with Nathalie these last couple of days.

Nathalie hadn’t paid attention to him, seeming very busy.

At this moment, suddenly seeing a familiar person, Sadam Vinson’s mind couldn’t turn: ”Am I seeing things? That person is really Nathalie?”

Nathalie Quinlan’s presence was quite commanding.

The type that stands out in a crowd, recognizable at a glance.

Even though Sadam Vinson’s mind couldn’t process it, he was 80% sure his eyes weren’t deceiving him, and the girl stepping down from the taxi and walking toward them was indeed Nathalie Quinlan.

He couldn’t help but blurt out: ”Damn, it really is Nathalie!”

Brian Bonette rubbed his forehead, with an expression of ’it makes sense,’ and also said: ”No wonder Mrs. Yancey called to ask you to wait. If it’s Nathalie, it makes sense.”

This time, with Amadeus’ sudden accident, nobody dared tell the old man, fearing he couldn’t take the shock and might end up in the hospital.

So throughout, Candice Yancey was managing the situation.

All of Beijing was watching the Yancey Family’s developments, trying to get firsthand news.

Candice Yancey was exhausted from dealing with these people and hadn’t rested well in two days. Now, besides Nathalie, Candice probably wouldn’t attend to anyone else.

As the two were speaking, the girl had already walked to their car door, raised her hand, and with a suave motion knocked on the car glass: ”Open the door.”

Damn cool!

Sadam Vinson was stunned for a second, his mind blank, finally realizing he had locked the car door, making it impossible to open from the outside.
