The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1526: Chapter 1526: Nathalie: Sorry, I Didn’t Eat It

”Nathalie doesn’t want to admit it?” The hoarse voice was alluring.

Nathalie Quinlan glanced at him, her eyes a clear contrast of black and white, clearly unable to keep up with his pace: ”Admit what?”

When did she not admit to something?

It seems that hasn’t happened, right?

”Mrs. Kingsley is your birth mother, and also my future mother-in-law. Is there any reason I shouldn’t care about my future mother-in-law?”

Amadeus Yancey extended his long leg, his eyebrows relaxed, and his arm rested on the sofa next to him. The fresh cut on the palm of his left hand was quite noticeable.

Especially after soaking in water, the skin and flesh on both sides of the wound turned pale from water exposure, looking quite distressing.

Nathalie volunteered to help dry his hair precisely because she saw the cut on his hand.

Amadeus himself seemed fine, unconcerned about his injured hand. He glanced at the girl casually, a teasing smile on his face, looking quite captivating: ”...Or are you trying to eat and not admit it?”

”...” Nathalie shot him a sidelong glance.

The girl’s features were quite exquisite, the kind of striking allure that seizes one’s visual senses like a brilliant flame.

”I haven’t eaten.”

”Hmm?”

Nathalie looked at him again, her gaze slightly averted, much calmer, speaking reasonably: ”I said I haven’t eaten yet.”

”Tsk.” Amadeus didn’t immediately catch her meaning, but when he did, a smile spread across his lips, his gaze softening, as he reached out to pull her over, his eyes fixed intently on the girl: ”Then do you want to check the goods first?”

Even when he wasn’t smiling, he was already attractive, and with a smile, he was even more enchanting, like a beguiling demon, his deep eyes almost drowning a person.

Nathalie: ”...Check what goods?”

”Doesn’t Nathalie the Goddess want a taste?”

Amadeus held her hand, seemingly still half-smiling, his voice low and husky: ”How will you know if you’re satisfied with the outcome if you don’t check the goods first?”

”Nathalie, aren’t you going to check?”

Nathalie felt her earlobes burning, trying to maintain a calm facade: ”Ahem, I estimate it looks good.” At least, based on the appearance, it could score a ten.

Amadeus noticed the girl’s diverted gaze, seeing she was no longer as composed and at ease as before.

His thin lips stretched into a more obvious smile.

Though he spoke nicely, he hadn’t let go of Nathalie’s hand: ”...Visual estimation can be deceiving. I suggest you check for real.”

Nathalie was left speechless by his words and flicked her hand, failing to free herself. Just as she turned her face, about to tell him she was going back to her room to shower and change clothes.

Unexpectedly, the man’s handsome face enlarged before her eyes, and two soft, cool lips pressed down.

A bit cool, with a faint minty taste.

Amadeus wrapped his arm around the girl’s soft waist, only tasting lightly, licking his lips, smiling mischievously: ”Nathalie the Goddess, do you want to check again?”

”...” What goods is she supposed to check!

Nathalie’s face felt scorching, her hands just resting on his chest, her eyes avoiding his: ”...Let go first.”

”Okay.” He agreed faster than anyone but didn’t actually release his grip.

A more ferocious kiss than before descended.

”Amadeus...”

Nathalie’s brows furrowed, the remaining words swallowed by his lips, lost in the deep kiss.

When the kiss ended, the hotel room was filled with a dangerous air.

Nathalie took a deep breath, trying to cool her flushed face, leaving him with, ”I’m going back to the room, have a good rest.”

Her figure disappeared rapidly, almost like fleeing. For the first time, so unsettled!
