The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1505: Chapter 1505: Hendrik Zachmann Doesn’t Want to Pick Her Up Anymore

[Bro, I’ve arrived in Country M. Mom went with me to the Pharmaceutical Association this morning for registration. I’m now a member of the Pharmaceutical Association. Once things are settled here, Mom and I will come back. If everything goes well, we’ll take a flight in about a week. Will you pick me up at the airport?]

Caryn’s tone on WhatsApp was cheerful, as if she hadn’t encountered Nathalie Quinlan at the Pharmaceutical Association.

She didn’t mention Nathalie at all in her message.

Hendrik’s eyes were deep, he didn’t reply to her message and just put the phone back.

*

On the other side, Country M.

Caryn didn’t eat anything all night, she had no appetite.

She sat in her room and sent a message to Hendrik, originally thinking he’d reply quickly.

Left waiting and right waiting.

She waited for a full hour, but there was no response from Hendrik.

The congratulatory WhatsApp message she sent felt like it had sunk into the sea, without any sound in return.

Caryn’s already bad mood worsened again, she pursed her lips and opened WhatsApp again, pulling up Hendrik’s profile picture.

At first, all messages were sent by Hendrik.

Asking if she arrived in Country M, whether she successfully registered at the Pharmaceutical Association...

Hendrik sent her quite a few messages.

She hadn’t replied to any of them.

The latest message on WhatsApp was the one she replied to Hendrik with, followed by a long wait...

Hendrik didn’t reply to her at all!

Caryn’s eyes flickered, unwillingly she sent another message to Hendrik.

[Bro? Are you asleep?]

She couldn’t think of a reason why Hendrik wouldn’t reply to her message, unless Hendrik had fallen asleep and didn’t see it!

Thinking this, she felt a bit better.

Just as she was about to put down the phone and freshen up, Caryn caught a glimpse of Hendrik’s status as ’typing’ on WhatsApp.

She immediately perked up, waiting for Hendrik to reply.

Hendrik’s reply came quickly, in less than a minute.

With great anticipation, Caryn focused and looked at it.

[Hendrik]: I’m going to the Illegal Zone the day after tomorrow. I might not be back in a week. Let the driver know in advance to have the family driver pick you up at the airport.

Caryn doubted her eyesight.

Since childhood, Hendrik has spoiled her the most, almost pampering her to heaven.

Compared to her, Audrick seems more like someone casually picked up from outside.

But now...

Looking at the message from Hendrik, who wasn’t willing to pick her up, Caryn’s heart sank.

She was too annoyed to reply to Hendrik.

After closing the chat with Hendrik, Caryn opened WhatsApp again, only seeing Sherrina Yacoub ask if she’d gone to the Pharmaceutical Association, everyone else seemed dead, just lying in her WhatsApp list.

After checking everyone, Caryn felt even more stuffed, she thought left and right, finally pulling up Govert Griffin’s WhatsApp and sending a message.

[Caryn]: I’m coming back in a week, do you have time to go out for a meal?

*

On the other side, Rivendell in Beijing.

Sadam Vinson and Brian Bonette were together.

Govert Griffin and Nadya Tucker were there too.

Seven or eight people were seated around the table, the atmosphere was quite somber, no one was talking.

Just then, Govert Griffin’s phone vibrated, he quietly picked up the phone and walked aside to check, opening WhatsApp he saw Caryn’s message.

He couldn’t help but chuckle quietly.

”Who is it?” Sadam leaned with his leg supported, electronic cigarette in his mouth, looking at him irritably.

After all, when everyone was quiet, Govert was particularly noticeable.

Govert returned holding his phone.

”Ms. Zachmann.”
