The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1539: Chapter 1539: This Cousin of Yours Looks Kind of Familiar

The girl who pushed the door open was wearing a T-shirt, with a casually draped jacket, looking quite unkempt.

Nathalie Quinlan walked in without batting an eye, ignoring the group of men and women inside the KTV box who were intimidated by her presence. Her sharp gaze swept across the room, locking onto a young boy in the corner.

With one hand in her pocket, she struck a cool pose and walked straight towards the boy.

...

”Cousin, cousin, cousin.” Trode Freeman’s face was ashen with fear, shivering uncontrollably.

Especially after he saw Nathalie enter, and someone leaning against their box door, his pale face suddenly flushed liver-red, as if scared out of his wits.

Amadeus Yancey?!

Someone of Trode Freeman’s rank would certainly have no right to interact with Sadam Vinson and their small Circle at the top of the Pyramid. However, that didn’t prevent him from knowing Amadeus Yancey.

He had seen Amadeus and their Circle once at Caryn Zachmann’s coming-of-age ceremony.

That time both Amadeus and Sadam Vinson were there; their family was exceedingly respectful and enthusiastic towards them.

So he had a very deep impression of the people in that Circle.

Not to mention, Amadeus himself was quite unforgettable; anyone who had seen him once rarely forgot his appearance.

Trode instantly recognized the man leaning at the box door.

Not only was he now shivering, but he was also too scared to even sit still, jumping to his feet instantly.

The green-haired guy beside him hadn’t recognized the person, and seeing Trode so scared he was shaking, couldn’t help but smack his lips and ask: ”Mr. Freeman, who is this? I haven’t heard that you had another cousin, wasn’t your cousin Ms. Zachmann? Hiss~ This cousin of yours seems familiar, have I seen her somewhere?”

Nathalie had been on hot search several times before; the older generation might not have noticed on Twitter.

But nearly every young person has a Twitter account.

The green-haired guy was a Twitter aficionado with 300,000 followers, practically a minor internet celebrity.

It wasn’t strange that he’d seen Nathalie’s photo.

He just didn’t recall it right away.

Trode Freeman’s lips were pale. Seeing the girl approaching, his throat dry with fear, he stammered: ”The one you’re talking about is my second cousin, this is another cousin.”

Caryn is from the Second Branch.

Nathalie, on the other hand, is from Room One’s lineage.

In terms of family relations, it was correct for Trode to call Nathalie his cousin.

”Oh.” The green-haired guy didn’t realize the danger, turning his gaze to the girl coming over, and without fear commented: ”Your cousin is quite pretty.”

The box contained quite a few people.

All were intimidated by Nathalie’s aura.

Everyone was as quiet as a chicken.

They all looked in unison at the girl who had entered, and though they didn’t know why she barged in, none of them realized they should ask.

They just watched, as she swaggered inward.

Trode Freeman couldn’t smile.

Mainly because he was guilty himself, knowing why Nathalie came looking for him.

”I think your cousin is prettier than Ms. Zachmann, Mr. Freeman, could you introduce me later?”

”Shut up!” Trode’s forehead veins bulged as he cursed at the chattering person next to him, then looked in fear at Nathalie.

In a blink of an eye, Nathalie stood in front of him.

Trode stood there like a wronged student, nervously greeting, ”Co-cousin.”

He hadn’t officially met Nathalie, but Trode always knew of her.
