The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1522: Chapter 1522: What a Coincidence, Nathalie Went Back to the Hotel to Rest Too

”You mentioned Nathalie...” Silvania Ingram’s expression changed slightly, she immediately picked up her bag and stood up to say to everyone, ”Sorry, I have something to attend to, I won’t be able to stay with you all today, I’ll take my leave.”

Silvania Ingram is currently a hot new female tycoon in the country; the people at the table were eager to praise her and wouldn’t possibly make things difficult for her just because she had to leave first.

Immediately, there were some polite exchanges.

Silvania Ingram seemed quite anxious and did not engage in too much small talk with them, she exchanged a couple of pleasantries, took her things, and left the room quickly with Jethro Yapiter.

Leonardy Zachmann noticed how urgently she departed and couldn’t help but think of Nathalie Quinlan.

Nathalie and Silvania Ingram have a relatively good private relationship.

He frowned, his gaze showed some degree of concern.

...

Outside the Imperial Hotel private room.

After Silvania Ingram quickly walked to a secluded area, she immediately stopped: ”How is Nathalie doing? Why did she go to Sablehaven?”

Sablehaven has been experiencing consecutive days of heavy rain recently; she heard it’s quite dangerous over there.

Silvania Ingram was filled with worry: ”What did she say to you on the phone?”

Jethro Yapiter observed silently and respectfully said, ”Ms. Quinlan only said to send some helicopters and boats over, preferably larger ones.”

Pinecone Group has its own freight line and transportation tools across the country, including in Sablehaven.

Silvania Ingram nodded, took out her phone from her handbag, and said to him, ”You go arrange it first and send over everything she wants that can be moved. I’ll contact some acquaintances to see if more can be sent over.”

”Alright.”

Jethro Yapiter is a person with strong action capabilities.

He mainly needed to inform Silvania Ingram first, but he had already notified the transportation department, just waiting for her words.

Once Silvania Ingram mentioned sending helicopters over, he promptly started to contact the relevant people.

*

Three hours later.

The disaster-stricken people who had been trapped for two days were almost all safely evacuated.

Due to the weather conditions, the helicopters ultimately couldn’t enter.

However, the boats from Pinecone Group served a significant role.

Silvania Ingram not only deployed all of Pinecone Group’s ferries but also used connections to bring in many other boats.

Many people in Sablehaven were paying attention to the rescue team’s grand moves.

Lots of people were guessing who would make such a big effort.

Not only in Sablehaven, but even in McKinney, hundreds of kilometers away from Sablehaven, news of Sablehaven’s rescue action was heard.

After Alfred Garland came out, he first saw Sadam Vinson and his group.

He hadn’t yet figured out why there were so many rescue boats and exclaimed to Sadam Vinson and his group, ”Did Uncle Jeremiah go all out this time?”

He has been around Amadeus Yancey for years, and he is more like a friend with Sadam Vinson and his group rather than a subordinate.

When Sadam Vinson heard this, his expression became indescribable, remembering how @ilovebeingskinny called Nathalie Quinlan ’boss.’

Faced with Alfred Garland’s exclamation, he only managed to squeeze out a dry response, ”This time it wasn’t Uncle Jeremiah.”

”Hmm?”

Alfred Garland hadn’t had time to ask him yet.

Sadam Vinson himself hadn’t yet digested Nathalie Quinlan’s series of grand maneuvers and quickly shifted the topic, looking behind Alfred Garland, saying, ”Where’s Amadeus?”

”Amadeus went back to the hotel first to change clothes.” Alfred Garland said casually.

Amadeus Yancey arrived with him, but after arriving didn’t wait for Sadam Vinson and the others, he left first.

Alfred Garland didn’t think too much about it and asked Sadam Vinson again, ”It’s strange, why didn’t I see Ms. Quinlan?”

Sadam Vinson gave him a ’you figure it out yourself’ look, answering him, ”Funny coincidence, Nathalie also went back to the hotel to rest first!”
