The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1523: Chapter 1523: Seeing Leonardy Zachmann Rush Out

The other side.

Nathalie Quinlan just received a phone call from Silvania Ingram.

She took off the duckbill cap from her head and tossed it aside, her brows cold and distant, walked to the fridge, and opened it to get herself a bottle of water.

Then she closed the door with a flip of her hand, her voice barely audible, ”Hello, Mrs. Ingram.”

”Have you arrived at the hotel yet?” Silvania Ingram was still in the parking lot outside the Imperial Hotel at this moment, sitting in the car, with the window down to let the air flow in.

She had just been contacting people everywhere and hadn’t had time to return.

”Yes.” Nathalie Quinlan walked to the sofa, sat down, crossed her legs, looking very relaxed, lowered her eyes, and replied to her politely, ”Just arrived.”

Silvania Ingram let out a long breath of relief, her anxious heart finally settled down, and her tense face displayed a trace of a smile, ”It’s good that you’re fine, just glad to know it. You scared me to death before, I never thought you’d go to Sablehaven...”

”By the way, Nathalie, did those affected people get evacuated smoothly?”

She was most concerned about Nathalie Quinlan’s safety, followed by the safety of the more than a hundred trapped people Nathalie told her about.

Nathalie unscrewed the bottle cap, didn’t rush to drink, and answered her question first, ”Uncle Jeremiah and the others have already evacuated everyone.”

Her fingers gripped the bottle of mineral water, her black eyes restrained with warmth, she lowered her voice and said to Silvania Ingram, ”Thank you, Mrs. Ingram.”

Far away in Beijing, the forty-something mature woman in the Range Rover was taken aback upon hearing this, holding the phone, she couldn’t help but laugh, ”We don’t need to say those things to each other!”

As she was speaking, she suddenly noticed a familiar figure hurriedly coming out and getting into a car by the roadside from the corner of her eye.

Leonardy Zachmann?

Silvania Ingram instantly recognized the man’s identity, having been somewhat distracted, her gaze had been attracted to the outside of the Imperial Hotel.

Leonardy Zachmann got into the Zachmann Family’s private car, she saw the family driver open the door for him.

But the problem was, wasn’t Leonardy Zachmann inside having a meal with the people at the banquet?

What happened?

Why would Leonardy Zachmann leave the meal halfway in a hurry?

Silvania Ingram placed one hand on the steering wheel, her eyes half-closed, puzzled.

”Mrs. Ingram?” On the other end of the phone, the girl’s slightly hoarse voice called her name.

Silvania Ingram’s attention was forcibly pulled back, she then realized she was still on the phone with Nathalie Quinlan, and said rather awkwardly, ”Sorry, I just saw an acquaintance and got distracted. Nathalie, what did you just say? Could you say it again? I didn’t hear clearly.”

Nathalie Quinlan responded in her usual composed tone, asking, ”Who did you see?”

”Just...”

Silvania Ingram almost blurted out Leonardy Zachmann’s name.

As the words were about to come out, she swallowed them back, ”Just a business partner. I suddenly saw him nearby and glanced at him. You wouldn’t recognize him.”

She had heard something about Nathalie Quinlan’s relationship with Room Two of the Zachmann Family.

Nathalie Quinlan had already fallen out with Room Two of the Zachmann Family!

It’s rumored to have reached a point where they almost split the family up.

Given this thought, Silvania Ingram felt it was even less necessary to talk about these illogical matters to Nathalie Quinlan. Seeing Jethro Yapiter return, she told the person on the phone, ”Nathalie, you should rest early, I’ll hang up now.”

”Alright.”

The girl’s voice sounded pleasant.

Silvania Ingram’s brows relaxed, she hung up the call.

Just then, Jethro Yapiter returned, seeing her roll down the car window and just apparently finish a phone call, knowing instantly who she had been talking to.

”Mr. Ingram, Ms. Quinlan is okay, right?”

Silvania Ingram smiled gently and put away her phone, ”She’s fine, already back at the hotel.”
