The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1503: Chapter 1503: Nathalie Arrives Just in Time

Nathalie Quinlan walked out while speaking casually, ”Door 6, right? I’ll come out and find you.”

”Did you get off the airplane?”

Evron Barness immediately replied without a second thought, ”I’ll come inside to get you, Ms. Quinlan.”

Nathalie had already stepped out of the T2 Terminal.

She walked out of Door 6 and saw Evron Barness standing by a car on the roadside, with someone else nearby who seemed familiar.

Nathalie lowered her voice, which was deep and pleasing, ”No need, I see you.”

She finished speaking and hung up the phone.

She raised her hand and waved in Evron Barness’s direction.

Evron Barness was initially looking around with his phone in hand, and upon spotting the person coming out of the exit, promptly went to greet her.

”Ms. Quinlan, how did you come out so quickly? I just checked the flight information; the airplane had just landed.” Though Evron Barness’s facial features weren’t as distinct as Amadeus Yancey’s, with his thick eyebrows and big eyes, he looked quite spirited.

Today he wore a red and white striped polo shirt and casual pants, appearing fresh and handsome—not a top-tier hunk, but certainly a good-looking man.

Having accustomed herself to the likes of Amadeus Yancey and Sadam Vinson, Nathalie wasn’t particularly impressed by Evron Barness’s appearance, almost feeling that Alfred Garland might even be slightly better looking than him.

She merely glanced at him, stowed her phone back into her pocket, and said candidly, ”I didn’t bring any luggage.”

Once the airplane landed, she didn’t need to wait for luggage retrieval and just went straight out.

Thus, she didn’t waste much time.

Evron Barness then noticed the girl with empty hands, carrying only a single shoulder bag, looking quite carefree.

He paused for a moment.

At this time, Hendrik Zachmann, who had been following him, saw the girl and greeted slightly awkwardly: ”Nathalie.”

Nathalie hadn’t noticed him initially, only raising her brow upon being called, and remembered who this face belonged to.

Oh, someone from the Zachmann Family.

Caryn’s brother.

Hendrik’s voice was small and indistinct when calling out, so she didn’t respond, continuing to walk as she spoke to Evron Barness, ”We should head back, don’t just stand here.”

Evron Barness didn’t notice Hendrik Zachmann’s awkwardness, focused solely on his grandfather, and hurriedly kept pace with the girl, inadvertently ignoring Hendrik.

Hendrik saw the two walking one after the other, completely disregarding him.

Feeling awkward, his face flushed with heat.

He hesitated for a moment but still followed along.

It also took three hours from Beijing to McKinney.

Nathalie arrived at the McKinney City Hospital close to ten at night.

Upon reaching the hospital, she immediately entered Owen Yapiter’s ward to evaluate his various body metrics with the attending doctor.

Once confirming Owen Yapiter could use the medication, Nathalie handed Caleb Dax’s medicine to the doctor.

Everyone spent a whole hour successfully administering CD-3.

After all, the CD-3 Nathalie brought back was the latest targeted drug developed in the Pharmaceutical Association’s laboratory—a single injection instantly stabilized Owen Yapiter’s previously poor metrics...

Half an hour later.

Nathalie and a group of attending doctors came out of the ward.

”Doctor, how is my dad?”

The Yapiter Family had long received news that Nathalie brought back the medicine, so they all rushed to the hospital.

Fellya Yapiter, who had been taking care of Owen Yapiter at the hospital for days, was the first to spot Nathalie and her group coming out and promptly stopped the attending doctor’s arm to inquire about Owen Yapiter’s condition.

”Is my dad okay?”
