The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 575: Chapter 575: Finally Here_1

She’s just playing the rogue, making a scene!

Nancy Sullivan was furious and stood up to speak for Nathalie Quinlan, ”Ms. Ullmer, I am their class teacher, and I have never heard of Nathalie Quinlan bullying anyone. The classmates have not been threatened either; they were merely telling the truth!”

”Heh.” Lina Ullmer folded her arms across her chest, looking at her scornfully, and said, ”Wenny Taylor said your school would cover up for her, and I didn’t believe it, but now I’ve seen it for myself!”

”Alright, you say she hasn’t bullied anyone in class, so I’ll take it she hasn’t bullied anyone in class. Then how about her violating the school rules? Surely that can’t also be my daughter slandering her.”

”This...” Nancy Sullivan hadn’t asked Nathalie Quinlan about the fight and hesitated without immediately responding.

A mocking expression appeared on the middle-aged woman’s face, and she sneered, ”Don’t tell me you haven’t looked into it yet! This kind of thing can be checked with the Police station in no time. Besides, if she hit someone, the patient is definitely still in the hospital; it can be checked if needed.”

”I am now asking on behalf of the family committee, regarding her violation of the school rules, what does your school plan to do about it?”

Before Nancy Sullivan and the others could speak, she continued, ”According to the school rules, such behavior definitely deserves a demerit or disciplinary action. Given how serious the situation is, our families are unanimous in wanting her expelled!”

The other few parents from the committee who were in the office also backed each other up, all with the same message—expelling Nathalie Quinlan.

Mr. Jones was irritated by their ruckus, and noticing that person’s gradually cooling gaze, felt as sandwiched as an Oreo cookie. He didn’t deal with those parents, instead turning his head and asking Nathalie Quinlan in a gentle tone, ”Nathalie Quinlan, have you seen the post Wenny Taylor put up on the forum?”

Nathalie Quinlan, hands shoved in her pockets, her gaze rather dark, admitted unabashedly, ”I have.”

”And the matter of hitting...”

Nathalie Quinlan looked up at him, not answering directly, but instead turned to the aggressive woman beside her. With an expressionless face, she spoke indifferently, ”You demand my expulsion for violating school rules, but if your daughter violated the rules, would you also have the school expel her?”

”...What do you mean?” Lina Ullmer was startled by the cold light in her eyes and didn’t immediately respond. After her heart skipped a beat, she gradually regained her composure, furrowed her brows, and replied, ”Of course...”

”Right.” Nathalie Quinlan nodded, looking toward the girl standing in the corner with a very detached look in her eyes as if she were looking at a stranger. She said calmly, ”I don’t need the school to expel her; there are three months left until the college entrance exams. Just give her the punishment she deserves.”

Her tone was indifferent as if the decision about Wenny Taylor’s punishment had already been issued.

The girl in the corner, wearing thick glasses, suddenly looked up, her eyes reddened, clenching her hands into fists, protestingly said, ”Nathalie Quinlan, you don’t need to scare me. It’s a fact that you put someone in the hospital, I didn’t falsely accuse you!”

”Tch.” The accused girl, appearing carelessly nonchalant, adjusted her cap brim. Her delicate and pretty face looked rather mischievous as she hooked her lip in a half-smile. Without looking at Wenny Taylor again, she said in an indifferent voice, ”Whether what you said is a fact or not, we will know when the person arrives.”

Myles Sullivan arrived even quicker than expected.

Ghania Quinlan followed him as they walked toward the principal’s office. The closer she got, the more nervous she became, her heart racing, feeling an unsettling premonition.
