The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 569: Chapter 569: Make a phone call for Nathalie Quinlan to come to the school_1

Wenny Taylor was a good student and a promising candidate for top universities; Nancy Sullivan did not want her to obsess over trivial matters and destroy herself three months before the college entrance exam.

After sternly criticizing her, she spoke in a soft and gentle voice, ”The issue you’ve raised will be investigated by the school, but for now, you should delete the post on the forum and stop exacerbating the situation.”

When Wenny heard this, she gritted her teeth, fiercely raised her head, and with a defiant look in her eyes, said, ”So, what you’re telling me, Mr. Sullivan, is that you still want to protect Nathalie Quinlan, right?”

Nancy couldn’t understand why she wouldn’t listen and, with a stern face, raised her voice, ”I am not protecting or not protecting anyone. The issue has not been clarified yet, and you can’t spread false information online by yourself! This can have a negative impact on other students.”

Wenny didn’t take in a single word she said; her mind was full of the Joint Entrance Exam to Tsinghua University.

At this, she looked up, surveyed the office full of homeroom teachers and the principal, clenched her fists tightly, bit her lip, and spoke with conviction, ”I know Nathalie Quinlan did well on the Tsinghua University Joint Entrance Exam. She is the only one from our school who got into Tsinghua. The school definitely won’t deal with her because they care about the admission rate and reputation. That’s why I posted on the forum; I want to make a big deal out of this!”

”So what if she’s a good student? A student like her, who easily injures someone to the point of disability, is only a scourge to the group if she stays at the school! Today she can injure someone outside the school, and tomorrow she could bully other students within the school.”

She spoke with righteous indignation, standing up straight as if her reporting Nathalie Quinlan was completely selfless, just standing there proudly.

”I am standing up to report her behavior on behalf of justice-seeking students! Until the school takes action against her, I will not delete the post on the forum. If you want it deleted, you can ask the forum administrators to do it directly, but your forceful removal of the post will only let students from other grades know that Nathalie Quinlan has privileges in No. 1 Middle School...”

The senior homeroom teachers of the school exchanged glances, never having seen a student so stubborn, bent on making a scene to the bitter end.

For a while, they did not know how to handle the situation.

If they directly deleted the forum post, as she said, students and parents from other grades who didn’t know the full story would certainly assume the school was protecting a student ’violating school regulations.’

If they didn’t delete it and let the post remain, the issue had not been thoroughly investigated yet. Keeping such a post full of subjective conjecture unattended could be a form of indirect harm to Nathalie Quinlan from Class A.

Besides, the school had finally produced a promising student who got into Tsinghua, and they couldn’t understand why Wenny Taylor insisted on escalating the situation to an unmanageable extent—they were all classmates, after all. Couldn’t she handle it privately as Nancy had suggested, by talking to a teacher, and then let the school investigate and resolve the issue?

Seeing the situation could not be resolved smoothly, the homeroom teacher of Class C glanced at the defiant girl who stood her ground, demanding a resolution, and looked up at Mr. Jones, asking in a low voice, ”Principal, how do you think we should handle this now...?”

Mr. Jones also knew that continuing this way would not do—the school’s reputation could be damaged, and Nathalie Quinlan might still take the college entrance exam. The situation could not go on; if it did, parents would see it and might start making a fuss as well.

He supported his forehead with his hand, expressing his headache, ”Mr. Sullivan, could you please give Nathalie Quinlan a call and ask her to come to the school?”
