The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 552: Chapter 552: The Name of the Lighten Chaser Big Shot Is QN_1

Shawn Norton didn’t know what she was thinking; had he known, he might have skipped the tea and just walked away.

At the moment, his mind was filled with the message Nathalie Quinlan had sent him. Without looking up, he said, ”With her stubborn temper, she definitely doesn’t want to come. No problem, I’ll ask her again.”

Stephanie Tanzil picked up her tea cup, looking at the leaves floating in the cup. Dressed smartly in a blouse paired with a professional suit, she said with a laugh, ”Only Lighten Chaser could have you asking again and again like this. If it were someone else, you probably would have agreed in one breath and even feared they might regret it.”

”Ah!” Shawn Norton, undeterred, sent several more messages to Nathalie Quinlan in a bombardment and, looking up with a serious expression, said, ”She is different.”

Stephanie Tanzil was taken aback for a moment, just about to ask him how she was different.

Just then, Shawn Norton’s phone flashed again, and from the corner of her eye, Stephanie Tanzil saw a new reply on his phone.

[QN: Not interested.]

QN?

Stephanie Tanzil’s attention wandered, and she sipped her excellent Biluochun tea, her lashes lowered.

The big name behind Lighten Chaser is QN?

This abbreviation sounded so familiar to her; it was the same one Zeus Tanzil often mentioned, a girl’s initials that he frequently spoke about around her.

What was the girl’s name?

She took a sip of tea, pondered for a moment, and then remembered.

Nathalie Quinlan!

Yes, Zeus Tanzil kept telling her about a genius in this year’s joint exam at Tsinghua University, who scored full marks, 650, was beautiful, had a great personality, and her name was Nathalie Quinlan. She’s studying in the McKinney area and just happens to be a senior this year.

Mr. Norton had messaged Lighten Chaser, and the remark for the enigmatic and elusive Lighten Chaser who replied to messages was also QN.

At first glance, these two seemed to have a startling coincidence.

However, after swallowing her tea, she calmly set down her cup, her capable and composed face untouched by the coincidence, which she quickly dismissed from her mind.

She had seen Lighten Chaser’s face through a VCR, youthful and defiant, not the type who would toe the line like a student, quite the maverick.

Such people usually aren’t good at studying.

And playing underground music, especially rock, she didn’t believe one could maintain good grades and get into Tsinghua University at the same time.

Stephanie Tanzil gathered the sharp light in her eyes, smiled slightly, and said with regret and helplessness to the elder sitting opposite her, ”Ah, I actually wanted to invite Lighten Chaser to participate this time. If she had agreed to attend, traditional music would’ve shone once again. It’s a shame she doesn’t want to...”

It was within Stephanie Tanzil’s expectations for Lighten Chaser to be unwilling to come.

After all, that person was the most mysterious presence among the young musicians, always doing as she pleased. Even though the music exchange conference Stephanie Tanzil was leading this time was of high caliber, with local experts like Mr. Norton and international piano masters like Stephan attending, it was indeed a great opportunity for a young person to make a name for themselves. Such opportunities are different from the usual TV appearances; the rank is different, the circle is different!

It was truly a pity that Lighten Chaser refused to come.

Shawn Norton had no way to deal with Nathalie Quinlan’s temperament. Seeing the message she had sent him, his brow furrowed and he lost his desire for tea, standing up he said to Stephanie Tanzil, ”Wait for me a moment, I need to make a phone call.”

Stephanie Tanzil, leaning back in her chair, said with a very polite smile, ”Mr. Norton, please, feel free.”

”Hmm.” With his mind preoccupied with matters at hand, Shawn Norton dispensed with the usual courtesies.

He grabbed his phone and hurried out.
