The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Seeing Nathalie Quinlan_1

Maybe he was too busy with work to shop.

Although she had never seen him working.

Nathalie Quinlan stuffed the clothes into his arms, ”You can buy some shirts in these few days, and when the weather cools down, you can wear a coat over the shirt.”

”I picked these based on your previous dressing style, not sure if you’ll like them, but you can sort out the ones you don’t like and try on the ones you think are okay.”

Amadeus Yancey’s arms were suddenly filled with a bundle of clothes, nearly failing to hold them.

The clothes he usually wore were all custom-made, with designers tailoring them directly to his measurements and delivering them to him without the need for trying on.

He never wasted time on fitting, but this time, without a word, he took the clothes and entered the dressing room.

The little guy wanted to use the restroom at just the right moment.

The sales associate took him to the bathroom, leaving Nathalie Quinlan sitting inside, playing with her phone while waiting for the person trying on clothes to come out.

At that moment, a coquettish female voice came from outside.

”Zayn Fisher, the clothes in this shop look pretty nice. I’d like to buy a set for my brother; can we go in and have a look, alright?”

”Okay.”

Nathalie Quinlan took a deep breath and silently flipped to the almanac on her phone.

September 2nd, the middle of the seventh lunar month, Ghost Festival, not suitable for going out.

Spot on!

Luckily, Edric had gone to the toilet.

Otherwise, she would have run into another idiot.

Disgustingly annoying.

Nathalie Quinlan pulled the brim of her cap down further; she had worn a cap out only because of the online hype, afraid of being recognized and causing unnecessary trouble.

Now it seemed, that was the most correct decision she had made before leaving the house.

A man and a woman entered from outside.

Luxury shops never have just one sales associate, so when business walked through the door, the other associates immediately greeted them warmly and started introducing the merchandise.

The fashionable girl with chestnut curls and a tall figure picked through the items at the counter, selecting a V-neck thin sweater.

She asked with a happy face, ”How does this look, is it nice?”

Zayn Fisher was urged by his family to meet with the girl in front of him, though they said it was just to accompany a junior schoolmate who went abroad to shop around.

But the intent of both sets of parents was clear.

He was no fool and realized this was nothing more than an upper circle’s blind date tactic, so he responded absentmindedly, ”Looks good.”

The girl was a completely different type from Ghania Quinlan.

Ghania Quinlan was slender, not very tall, with a slightly scrawny figure, but she knew how to make the most of her assets, often wearing light-colored clothes to accentuate her slender waist, giving her a fragile look that evoked pity.

Nathalie Quinlan observed that the girl walking with Zayn Fisher was the exact opposite; tall with curves, the exaggerated geometric earrings she wore highlighted her bold personality.

One could tell she was straightforward and unpretentious.

Indeed.

She immediately handed the sweater to the handsome young man, not hiding her admiration at all, ”My brother has a similar build to you. Could you try it on for him?”

It was clear that the favor of ”trying it on” was actually intended for him.

Zayn Fisher had a girlfriend, and a thousand reasons to refuse.

Yet he frowned, hesitated for a moment, then took the sweater, ”Nadya Tucker, I...”

The Tucker Family and the Fisher Family were well-matched.

She could offer more help to his future career than Ghania Quinlan ever could.

That was why he couldn’t outright refuse her.

Just as he was about to find a way to gently bring up his girlfriend without hurting her feelings, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of the girl sitting in the corner.

Even though she was wearing a duckbill cap and had deliberately pulled the brim very low,

He still recognized the beautiful arch of the chin that belonged to her.

Nathalie Quinlan!
