The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 161: Chapter 161: Previously Played the Electronic Keyboard_1

This damned girl!

Jeff Quinlan was furious inside, but he had to squeeze out a begrudging expression and continued in a soft voice, ”I heard you’ve recently run into some trouble. Online, a lot of people are cursing you because of Ghania’s incident. Your grandmother and the Tucker Family are on good terms; just say the word, and I’ll help you by speaking to the Tuckers on your behalf.”

Nathalie Quinlan’s eyes were deep, mocking yet somewhat amused, she glanced at him and said, ”I don’t need it. There’s no such thing as too many favors; you better save those relationships for Ghania.”

Seeing that he was getting nowhere with her and watching her enter the school while he himself was stopped by the security guard and unable to enter,

he could only shout from outside, ”Nathalie, I remember you used to love playing musical instruments, and even spent some time on the keyboards. We have a StudioBlade at home, if you’re free to come over for a meal, that keyboard is yours!”

Nathalie Quinlan walked on with one hand in her pocket, not looking back once.

She knew that the Quinlan Family had a very expensive keyboard that Jeff Quinlan had pulled strings to buy overseas. When it first arrived, Ghania had shown it off on her Social Platforms.

Later, when the family bought an even more expensive piano, Ghania seldom played the keyboard anymore.

She thought that the keyboard just couldn’t match up to the piano!

And now, at this time, Jeff Quinlan was still trying to buy her off with Ghania’s unwanted second-hand goods.

Really... huh, how highly he must regard her!

...

The first class was physical education.

Everyone in Class A was very relaxed.

Because PE was by default considered a break, the senior year teachers all understood the heavy pressure on the students and would usually just gather on the field to do some warm-up exercises.

Afterward, everyone would return to their classrooms to rest, or do their homework if they preferred.

Nathalie Quinlan rarely came to school.

A lot of students were hanging around her desk, playing.

Freddy Cagwin had arrived at school around the same time as she had, so he had heard what Jeff Quinlan had yelled at her from outside.

Seeing Nathalie playing with her Phone,

his eyes dark, he asked, ”Nathalie, can you play the keyboard?”

Jhovany Sullivan and Justin Wafford were also beside her, curious they looked at Nathalie, ”Nathalie, you like playing the keyboard?”

Nathalie hadn’t expected him to hear all that. She took out a book and pressed her forehead, ”I used to play before, not much anymore.”

Freddy faintly remembered his mom telling him that the Quinlan Family had bought a keyboard worth tens of thousands, which Nathalie loved, but Ghania was so selfish that she had moved it into her own room as soon as she realized Nathalie liked it.

Latter his mom secretly bought Nathalie a cheaper keyboard for a hundred-something dollars, but when the Quinlans found out, his mom was kicked out.

He remembered his mom saying that Nathalie had a real talent for it.

Ghania had sought professional teachers to learn her pieces.

Nathalie could learn just by watching tutorials online.

He wondered what became of that keyboard later; it was probably forcibly thrown out by the Quinlan Family.

Freddy moved his lips as if wanting to say something, but Jhovany and Justin, unaware of the full story, innocently thought Nathalie liked playing the keyboard and with eyes sparkling shared some gossip, ”I know this expert keyboard player called Lighten Chaser. She’s into underground rock, quite famous, just very secretive and never willing to reveal her face on camera!”

”She’s really something, every piece she releases is all her own work, and she has a bunch of fans called the Chasers.”

”A lot of stars in the entertainment circle like her pieces. Your brother is also one of her fans; several songs on his first album used her sounds. I got to know her then. After hearing her hit song Nirvana that got famous on YouTube, I just fell in love with her.”
