Chapter 186 You Also Take the Plane

”Where are you sitting down!”

A shrill scream almost scared Lin Zifeng to pee his pants. He hurriedly stood up and turned around, only to see a fashionable young girl rubbing her thigh continuously, with tears sparkling in her eyes and her innocent eyes blinking repeatedly, looking as aggrieved as could be.

”It’s you!”

Both of them were surprised at the same time!

When Lin Zifeng saw her face clearly, he couldn’t help thinking that the world was really damn small! To encounter her at the airport was just unbelievable!

And Zhang Yuxuan secretly lamented how small the world was as well, having gone in full circle only to run into each other again, which was more surprising than winning the lottery.

Lin Zifeng was also depressed. Wasn’t this the bartender from that bar? He clearly remembered that the first time he went to the bar, this girl even tried to seduce him. Then, the second time, something unpleasant happened between them. He hadn’t expected to meet her again after so many days. Was it coincidence or fate?

As for Zhang Yuxuan, the last time she saw him in the bar acting all deep and thoughtful, she thought he was truly a man with a weathered past full of stories. She didn’t expect that when she was harassed by hooligans, he would just slink away. He didn’t even have the minimum courage expected of a man. At the very least, he could have yelled out twice; even if he got beaten up, it might have won her sympathy. But no, he simply left without a word, and didn’t forget to finish the drink in his glass before slinking off without looking back.

The impression she had of him wasn’t great to begin with, and to think that today, on such a beautiful day when she was in a good mood, she would encounter him again at the airport!

What was fatal was that this timid man even purposely sat down on her thigh. As a man, as a normal man, how could he do something even more womanish than a petty woman?

”Why is it you again!”

Zhang Yuxuan exclaimed in surprise.

”I’d like to ask the same,” Lin Zifeng, sitting on a nearby chair, didn’t intentionally pay her any attention.

”The world is really small, to encounter a man like you who pretends to be deep but is timid as a mouse, truly is misfortune when going out.”

Zhang Yuxuan hurriedly gathered her luggage and ran off in another direction, huffing angrily. Her indignantly flouncing figure left Lin Zifeng somewhat puzzled. Had he unwittingly provoked her again?

”Hey, hey! I say, miss, you can’t talk like that. What do you mean by ’misfortune when going out’? Are you really at such a disadvantage encountering me?”

”Who are you calling miss? You’re the miss! Your whole family are misses.”

Zhang Yuxuan, who worked in bars and nightclubs all year round, hated it most when people mentioned the word ”miss” in her presence because many people mistook her for one in the bar. She found this impolite title particularly offensive, especially coming from someone as boring as the person in front of her. She felt it was an insult.

Freaking A! How the heck did I provoke you this time? Could it be that I ran my mouth off again saying something I shouldn’t have?

Seeing Zhang Yuxuan’s uncontrollable anger, Lin Zifeng stood quietly in the lobby, watching her receding figure.

He felt depressed in his heart as well.

Anyway, it was just as well. Dealing more with this kind of woman would only bring frustration, so he might as well not bother explaining. Thinking back to the last incident at the bar, a few guys were harassing her, and he didn’t step in when he should have. That probably offended her.

Lin Zifeng smiled bitterly.

Glancing at the time, it was only three in the afternoon, far from evening, and Lin Zifeng’s stomach had started to rumble. Having not eaten a single grain of rice since sending Huahua off in the morning, he decided to fill his belly first.

Speaking of Zhonghai City’s airport, it was indeed much better than those abroad, not only with its variety but also with its pricing, which admittedly could be extortionate.

After finishing his afternoon meal, Lin Zifeng took a brief nap out of sheer boredom and went to the bathroom twice to check on his physical condition. He had suffered some light injuries during today’s fight with Zhang Biao. As for the bracelet, Lin Zifeng still couldn’t figure it out and decided not to think about it anymore. If he couldn’t understand it, he would simply stop thinking about it.

”Passengers, Flight CA175 will soon be boarding. Any passengers who have not yet boarded, please proceed to...”

Perhaps he had been too tired, Lin Zifeng ended up sleeping straight through to the evening.

Quickly packing up his luggage and looking at the looming aircraft at the airport, Lin Zifeng had a strange feeling that Nangong Bing might encounter something on her trip to Yanjing.

But then again, what kind of danger hadn’t he faced over the years?

He didn’t care about the danger anymore.

He hurriedly grabbed his boarding pass and made his way to the cabin, his heart warmed when he saw that Nangong Bing, despite teasing him, had booked him a first-class ticket.

According to the boarding pass, Lin Zifeng finally found his seat, but to his dismay, it was the same bar woman, and she had taken his window seat.

After arranging his luggage, Lin Zifeng turned to Zhang Yuxuan with a smile, ”What a coincidence.”

Zhang Yuxuan had been thinking about where to go in Yanjing, and to her annoyance, she had to hear a voice she despised.

She looked up and saw it was him!

”What do you want?” Zhang Yuxuan asked, somewhat surprised.

”That’s what I should be asking you. I don’t want anything,” Lin Zifeng chuckled.

”Why do you always follow me?” Zhang Yuxuan questioned, eyes moving behind her non-mainstream oversized sunglasses, nearly covering half her little face. She was dressed in a classic, casual fashion, wearing a light blue tight-fitting top that accentuated her full chest distinctly. Below was a fitted white classic long skirt, revealing only a pair of white and smooth feet.

She wasn’t wearing high heels, but she conveyed an aura of upscale sophistication.

”Me, following you? Listen, sister, that’s a very irresponsible thing to say. Just because you’re flying, does it mean I can’t?” Lin Zifeng found Zhang Yuxuan’s words rather amusing.

”You? You’re also flying?”

Zhang Yuxuan glanced at Lin Zifeng’s attire, the simplest it could be, with disdain. After sending Huahua off in the morning and enjoying a hearty fight with Zhang Biao, the Armani suit Huahua had bought for him was ruined. So this time, Lin Zifeng had casually picked out a tawny colored shirt which was, both in style and design, quite outmoded. It lacked even the most basic sophistication. In Zhang Yuxuan’s young mind, weren’t all airplane passengers dressed like gentlemen? How come he did not embody even a hint of gentlemanliness?

”Are you looking down on us farmer workers now? Haven’t you seen on TV that there’s always news about farmer workers these days?”

”Psh!”

Zhang Yuxuan snorted coldly and ignored him, continuing to ponder with her eyes closed.
